The insufficient active sites and slow interfacial charge trans-fer of photocatalysts restrict the efficiency of CO_(2) *** synchronized modulation of the above key issues is demanding and ***,strain-induced strategy is developed to construct the Bi–O-bonded interface in Cu porphyrin-based monoatomic layer(PML-Cu)and Bi_(12)O_(17)Br_(2)(BOB),which triggers the surface interface dual polarization of PML-Cu/BOB(PBOB).In this multi-step polarization,the built-in electric field formed between the interfaces induces the electron transfer from con-duction band(CB)of BOB to CB of PML-Cu and suppresses its reverse ***,the surface polarization of PML-Cu further promotes the electron converge in Cu *** introduction of PML-Cu endows a high density of dispersed Cu active sites on the surface of PBOB,significantly promoting the adsorption and activation of CO_(2) and CO *** conversion rate of CO_(2) photoreduction to CO for PBOB can reach 584.3μmol g-1,which is 7.83 times higher than BOB and 20.01 times than *** work offers valuable insights into multi-step polarization regulation and active site design for catalysts.

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of a New Double 2D Layer Complex Assembled by H_4btec

Assembly of H4btec with cobalt（Ⅱ） acetate afforded a new double 2D layer coordination polymer, [Co（bteC）1/2（H2O）4·2H2O]n （H4btec = benzene-1,2,4,5-tetracarboxylic acid） 1. The polymeric structure has been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR and thermal analysis. The crystal is of triclinic, space group PI with a = 10.8762（2）, b = 11.1411（1）, c = 11.5084（3） A, a = 82.8950（10）, β = 63.0050（10）, γ = 62.1500（10）°, V = 1091.72（4） A^3, C5H13CoO10, Mr= 292.08, Z = 4, Dc = 1.777 g/cm^3, μ = 1.612 mm^-l, F（000） = 600, R = 0.0578, and wR = 0.2162 for 3576 observed reflections （Ⅰ 〉 2σ（Ⅰ））. Complex 1 consists of a new double 2D layer structure [Co（btec）1/2（H2O）4]n, both consisting of 4 ＋ 4 grids with the sizes of 11.3667（2）A × 11.5084（3）A （Co（1）-Co（1A） × Co（2A）-Co（2B）） and 11.5084（3）A × 11.3667（2）A （Co（3）-Co（3C） × Co（4）- Co（4A））, respectively. The phenyl rings are at the comers while the Co（Ⅱ） atoms are in the sides of the grids, and lattice water molecules decorate between the layers. Hydrogen bonds between the layers and lattice water molecules result in the final 3D framework.

Synthesis, Crystal Structure and Luminescent Property of [Zn(C_(12)H_9O_3)_2(C_(10)H_8N_2)]_n·nH_2O

Under hydrothermal condition, the reaction of 2-naphthoxyacetic acid with ZnCl2 and 4,4′-bipyridine （4,4′-bipy） has afforded a new Zn（Ⅱ） compound, [Zn（C12H9O3）2（C10H8N2）]n·nH2O1, which was structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 7.7335（2）, b = 19.3834（4）, c = 20.1707（4） A, β = 104.9830（10）°, V = 2920.82（11） A^3, C34H28ZnN2O7, Mr = 641.95, Z = 4, Dc = 1.460 g/cm^3,μ = 0.895 mm^-1, F（000） = 1328, R = 0.0406 and wR = 0.0876 for 4417 observed reflections （I〉 2σ（I）） Complex 1 consists of one-dimensional zigzag chains deriving from Zn（C12H9O3）2 units linked by 4,4′-bipy ligands, and lattice water molecules decorate between the chains. Non-covalent interactions, such as hydrogen-bonding and aromatic π-π interactions, lead to the formation of a 3D network structure. The thermogravimetric analysis （TGA） and luminescent property for 1 have also been studied in this paper.

The title compound, [Cu2（CH3COO）4（C8H10N2）]n·nCH3CN 1 （C8H10N2, 4,4＇-bipy = 4,4＇-bipyridine）, has been solvothermally synthesized in CH3CN and characterized by X-ray diffraction. The crystal is of monoclinic, space group Cc with α = 22.626（6）, b = 14.012（4）, c = 15.106（4） ]A, β = 107.610（3）°, V = 4565（2） ]A^3, C20H23Cu2N3O8, Mr = 560.49, Z = 8, Dc = 1.631 g/cm^3,μ = 1.914 mm^-1, Flack parameter = 0.48（1）, F（000） = 2288, R = 0.042 and wR = 0.098 for 8887 observed reflections （I 〉 20（I））. It consists of nearly linear one-dimensional chains [Cu2（CH3COO）4（C8H10N2）]n derived from paddle-wheel [Cu2（CH3COO）4] unit linked by 4,4＇-bipy, and CH3CN as guest molecule regularly decorates between the chains.

Electron doping induced semiconductor to metal transitions in ZrSe2 layers via copper atomic intercalation

Atomic intercalation in two-dimensional （2D） layered materials can be used to engineer the electronic structure at the atomic scale and generate tuneable physical and chemical properties which are quite distinct in comparison with the pristine material. Among them, electron-doped engineering induced by intercalation is an efficient route to modulate electronic states in 2D layers. Herein, we demonstrate a semiconducting to metallic phase transition in zirconium diselenide （ZrSe2） single crystals via controllable incorporation of copper （Cu） atoms. Our angle resolved photoemission spectroscopy （ARPES） measurements and first-principles density functional theory （DFT） calculations dearly revealed the emergence of conduction band dispersion at the M/L point of the Brillouin zone due to Cu-induced electron doping in ZrSe2 interlayers. Moreover, electrical measurements in ZrSe2 revealed semiconducting behavior, while the Cu-intercalated ZrSe2 exhibited a linear current-voltage curve with metallic character. The atomic intercalation approach may have high potential for realizing transparent electron-doping systems for many specific 2D-based nanoelectronic applications.
