Thermal Efficiency for Each Zone of a solar Pond

ELECTRORHEOLOGICAL PROPERTIEs OF POLYANILINE/PUMICE COMPOsITE sUsPENsIONs

Electrorheological （ER） properties of polyaniline （PAni）, pumice and polyaniline/pumice composites （PAPC） were investigated. Polyaniline and PAni/pumice composite were prepared by oxidative polymerization. PAni/pumice particlesbased ER suspensions were prepared in silicone oil （sO）, and their ER behavior was investigated as a function of shear rate, electric field strength, concentration and temperature. sedimentation stabilities of suspensions were determined. It has been found that ER activity of all the suspensions increases with increasing electric field strength, concentration and decreasing shear rate. It has shown that the suspensions have a typical shear thinning non-Newtonian viscoelastic behavior. Yield stress of composite suspensions increased linearly with increasing applied electric field strength and with concentrations of the particles. The effect of high temperature on ER activity of purrfice/silicone oil systems was also investigated.

Fitting single Particle Energies in sdgh Major shell

We have performed two kinds of non-linear fitting procedures to the single-particle energies in the sdgh major shell to obtain better shell model results. The low-lying energy eigenvalues of the light sn isotopes with A = 103- 110 in the sdgh-shell are calculated in the framework of the nuclear shell model by using CD-Bonn two-body effective nucleonnucleon interaction. The obtained energy eigenvalues are fitted to the corresponding experimental values by using two different non-linear fitting procedures, i.e., downhill simplex method and clonal selection method. The unknown single-particle energies of the states 2s1/2, 1d3/2, and 0h11/2are used in the fitting methods to obtain better spectra of the104,106,108,110 sn isotopes. We compare the energy spectra of the104,106,108,110 sn and103,105,107,109 sn isotopes with/without a nonlinear fit to the experimental results.

Objective:To determine fruit characteristics,fatty acid profile and total antioxidant capacitiy of first cultured Mespilus germanica ***:A total of 15 fruits were taken randomly from four directions of adult *** the physical and chemical properties of first cultured medlar fruit(Istanbul/Turkey)were measured by using refractometer,colorimeter,spectrophotometer and gas chromatograph mass spectrometer,***:In the fruit studied,the results showed that palmitic acid,stearic acid,oleic acid,linoleic acid,linolenic acid,arachidic acid and behenic acid were the most abundant fatty acids(FAs),and the main FA was palmitic acid[(35.35±1.20)%].The percentage of linoleic acid and stearic acid in this fruit oil were(29.10±1.70)%and(8.53±0.25)%,*** a result of the analysis,the total antioxidant capacity of medlar fruit was(1.1±0.2)mmol trolox equivalents/***:The present study has demonstrated the concentrations of FAs and the antioxidantive capacity of first cultured Istanbul medlar fruits by using many tested *** is proved that in our daily life,medlar fruit plays a significant role with its nutrition and health effect.

The inflammatory response of the pulp after direct capping with platelet-rich plasma and enamel matrix derivative:A controlled animal study

Aims: To evaluate the inflammatory response of the exposed pulp of incisor teeth in rats after direct pulp capping, using platelet rich plasma (PRP), enamel matrix derivate (EMD), mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) and calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2). Methods: The study was conducted on 36 Wistar albino rats with a total of 144 incisor teeth. The pulps of 96 teeth of the rats were perforated and capped with different agents. serving as the positive control group, the pulps of 24 teeth were only perforated and capped without capping agents, whereas the pulps of 24 teeth were used as the negative control group without being perforated (without any process). The research was ended with the extracting of the teeth on the 7th day-28th day. The teeth were taken to the routine and histological follows;cross sections were prepared and painted with hematoxylen & eosin. All of the sections were evaluated in terms of inflammatory reaction by histologic analysis taken by light microscope. statistical analysis was used. The normal distribution of all data was tested with the Mann Whitney U and the differences between the groups were analyze dusing Kruskal Wallis test at 0.05 level. Results: There are no statistically significant differences in terms of inflammation type and necrosis among the treatment groups on 7 days’ post capping. However, improved inflammatory cell accumulation, hyperemia and lowest necrosis were observed from the samples treated with PRP (p sely, the EMD group indicated that the criteria of inflammation scores and hyper- emia were higher in the 28th day (p sions: Most of cells accumulating in the PRP group and most necrosis were seen in the EMD group. These new PRP materials might serve as pulp capping biomaterials to induce initial healing response in the future.
