Eleven organophosphate esters(OPEs)in the air and seawater were investigated from the northwestern Pacific ocean to the Southern ocean during the 2018 Chinese 34th Antarctic scientific *** concentration of total OPEs ranged from 164.82 to 3501.79 pg/m~3in air and from 4.54 to 70.09 ng/L in *** halogenated OPEs,tri(chloropropyl)phosphate(TCPP)and tri(2-chloroethyl)phosphate(TCEP),were generally more abundant than the non-halogenated OPEs.A levelⅢfugacity model was developed to simulate the transfer and fate of seven OPEs in the air and seawater regions of the central Ross *** model results indicate that OPEs are transferred from the air to the seawater in the central Ross Sea in summer,during which the Ross Sea acts as a final OPE *** and wet deposition dominated the processes involving OPE transfer to *** OPE degradation process was also found to be more pervasive in the atmosphere than in the seawater *** findings highlights the importance of long-range transport of OPEs and their air–seawater interface behavior in the Antarctic.

The water-living reptile genus Hyphalosaurus was previously discovered in the Lower Cretaceous Yixian Formation bearing the middle Jehol Biota in western Liaoning,*** complete skeletons of Hyphalosaurus are reported for the first time from the Jiufotang Formation bearing the late Jehol Biota at two sites in western *** show the typical characteristics of Hyphalosaurus baitaigouensis in terms of the contact between some cranial bones and the number of cervical and dorsal vertebrae,and therefore are assigned to *** discovery extends the stratigraphic range of this species from the Yixian Formation to the overlying Jiufotang *** paper further briefly compares the main characteristics of the two skeletons,summarizes the temporal and spatial distribution of Hyphalosaurus,and discusses the palaeogeographic evolution of western Liaoning at the middle and late Jehol Biota stages based on the aquatic habits of Hyphalosaurus and the geological background of western *** analytical results show that the volcanic downwarped lakes,with distinct geographical divisions in western Liaoning during the deposition of the Yixian Formation,had not completely disappeared till the deposition of the Jiufotang *** palaeo-lake in the Fuxin-Yixian Basin underwent the process of generation,expansion and shrinkage during the depositional period of the Yixian Formation and finally merged into a large *** palaeo-Dalinghe River,which connected the main basins in western Liaoning during the depositional period of the Jiufotang Formation,was formed simultaneously.

Objectives:The bacteriostatic effects of a citral nanoemulsion against Shewanella putrefaciens CN-32(SHP CN-32)were investigated using in vitro culture and gene expression analysis,forbuilding a potential application in spoilage microorganism control and aquatic products quality *** and Methods:SHP CN-32 was treated by prepared citral nanoemulsion when the minimal inhibitory concentration(MIC)was *** growth curve,membrane integrity,scanning electron microscope(SEM)observation,biofilm formation and quorum sensing(QS)signaling molecule Al-2 content were evaluated in different MIC treatment groups(0 to 1.00 MIC).The gene expression status of SHP CN-32 in O and 0.50 MIC groups were compared using transcriptome sequencing and quantitative polymerase chain reaction(PCR).Results:The in vitro culture revealed that the citral nanoemulsion could inhibit the growth of SHP CN-32 with MIC of approximately 200μg/*** of membrane *** and biofilm formation suggested significant biological structure damage in bacteria after ***,the Qs signaling molecule Al-2 content showed a decline with increasing treatment *** sequencing and quantitative PCR revealed that the majority genes related diversified functional metabolic pathways of SHP CN-32 were downregulated at varying ***:A significant bacteriostasis of citral nanoemulsion against SHP CN-32 was verified via the results of growth inhibition,structural destruction,signal molecular decrease and gene expression downregulation of *** synergies significantly affect the characteristic expression of SHP CN-32,revealing the application potential as bacteriostat,QS inhibitor and preservative in aquatic products.

The food’s perishable properties and people’s eco-friendly requirements have driven the biodegradable active packaging *** this study,modification behaviors of polyviniyl alcohol/hydroxypropyl methylcellulose/roselle anthocyanin-based(PHR)film on textural profiles of Penaeus vannamei were *** samples were packaged by PHR film with different roselle anthocyanin contents and stored at 4±1℃.The results indicated that PHR groups exhibited better texture with higher values of hardness(435.56±75.52 g),springiness(0.53±0.04 mm),chewiness(198.83±40.98 N)and resilience(0.45±0.04).The PHR film exerted positive influences on water migration by reducing drip loss and promoting conversion of free water into immobilized ***,the PHR film retarded protein denaturation via increasing myofibrillar protein and sulfhydryl group contents,decreasing TCA(trichloroacetic acid)-soluble peptide contents and maintaining protein secondary structure(higherα-helix ratio and lowerβ-sheet ratio).In conclusion,the PHR film improved shrimp texture by rearrangement of water distribution and stabilization of protein ***,the PHR film was a novel potential active packaging for shrimp texture enhancement.

Coastal lagoons provide many important services to human society,but their year-round use for aquaculture introduces large amounts of *** contamination of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)is therefore of great *** this study,50 ARGs subtypes,two integrase genes(intl1,intl2),and 16S rRNA genes were detected by high-throughput quantitative PCR,and standard curves of all target genes were prepared for *** occurrence and distribution of ARGs in a typical coastal lagoon(XinCun lagoon,China)were comprehensively *** detected 44 and 38 subtypes of ARGs in the water and sediment,respectively,and discuss the various factors influencing the fate of ARGs in the coastal ***-lincosamides-streptogramins B was the primary ARG type,and macB was the predominant *** efflux and antibiotic inactivation were the main ARG resistance *** XinCun lagoon was divided into eight functional *** ARGs showed a distinct spatial distribution owing to the influence of microbial biomass and anthropogenic activity in different functional *** rafts,abandoned fish ponds,the town sewage zone,and mangrove wetlands provided a large quantity of ARGs to the XinCun *** and heavy metals also significantly correlated with the fate of the ARGs,especially NO_(2)^(−)-N and Cu,which cannot be *** is noteworthy that lagoon-barrier systems coupled with persistent pollutant inputs result in coastal lagoons acting as a“buffer pool”for ARGs,which can then accumulate and threaten the offshore environment.

The death of massive stars due to supernova explosions is a key ingredient in stellar evolution and stellar population synthesis. Electron capture （EC） plays a vital role in supernova explosions. Using the Shell-Model Monte Carlo method, based on the nuclear random phase approximation and linear response theory model for electrons, we study the strong screening EC rates of 52,53,59,60Fe in pre-supernovae. The results show that the screening rates can decrease by about 18.66%. Our results may become late-type stars, supernova explosion mechanisms and a good foundation for future investigation of the evolution of numerical simulations.

Platycephalus in Chinese sea area has a high commercial ***,there were mis-identifications in previous *** this study,we fully distinguished and diagnosed all five species,Platycephalus indicus,***,Platycephalus sp.,Platycephalus sp.1 and Platycephalus *** results revealed that *** was overlooked by previous *** sp.1 was misidentified as *** in reality,and Platycephalus sp.2 only existed in the seas of ***,morphological,especially phylogenetic analysis indicated that Platycephalus *** South China Sea differs from all former known species,which might be a new *** identified all Platycephalus species in China seas for the first time,which will contribute to local species identification,biodiversity conservation and sustainable exploitation of Platycephalus species.

Recently,food grade nanofiber-based materials have received growing attentions in food *** this work,novel active and intelligent packaging nanofibers based on gelatin/chitosan with curcumin(GA/CS/CUR)were developed via electrospinning *** of the incorporation of CUR content(0.1%-0.3%,m/m)on the microstructure and functional properties of the electrospun nanofibers were *** studies using scanning electron microscopy indicated that loading CUR can affect the average diameter of nanofiber mats,which remained around 160-180 *** addition of an appropriate level CUR(0.2%,m/m)led to a stronger intermolecular interaction,and thus enhanced the thermal stability and tensile strength of the obtained ***,the incorporation of CUR significantly improved antioxidant activity and the antimicrobial activity of GA/CS/CUR ***,the sensitivity of nanofibers to ammonia results indicated that GA/CS nanofibers containing 0.2%CUR(GA/CS/CURⅡ)presented high sensitivity of colorimetric behavior to ammonia(within 3 min).These results suggest GA/CS/CURⅡnanofibers has great potential as a multifunctional packaging to protect and monitor the freshness of proteinrich animal foods,such as meat and seafood.
