[Objective] This study aimed to finding out the difference in glucose content of tartary buckwheat seeds from different origins.[Method] Taking 35 kinds of tartary buckwheat from different origins as the test materials,the glucose content of seeds had been determined.[Result] The variation range of glucose content in 35 kinds of tartary buckwheat was from 0.055 6% to 0.840 2% with an average of 0.321 7%.There was a difference in glucose content of tartary buckwheat from different *** seeds T324 from Weining in guizhou had the highest glucose content,while the seeds T398 also from Weining in guizhou had the lowest glucose content.[Conclusion] This study provides a reference for the genetic variation law of glucose content in different tartary buckwheat resources.

A catalog of M stars has been published from the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope data release 7(LAMOST DR7).We cross-matched the LAMOST M catalog with Kepler,Kepler 2(K2)and Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite(TESS)*** obtained the light curves from the Kepler and TESS *** detected 20,047 flare events from 4053 M stars and calculated their durations,amplitudes,and *** analyzed the distribution of the flare durations and *** distributions of flare duration for Kepler,K2 and TESS peak are at 3–3.5 hr,4–6 hr and 1–1.5 hr,*** may be the result of the different cadences for the three data *** highest regions of the flare energies of Kepler,K2 and TESS are 32–32.5,32–32.5 and31–31.5 erg in Log format,respectively.A linear relationship between flare duration and energy emerges from our *** ratio of flare duration to total observational time is approximately 0.2%–0.3%for the Kepler,K2 and TESS *** occurrence rate of a star with a flare event increases from the M0 to M4 *** also determined the spatial distribution of the flare rate of M stars in the Milky *** seems that the flare rate decreases as the vertical height *** power index of the flare energies is in the region of 1.53–2.32,which is similar to previous result for solar type star(2.0).Further,we examined the relationship between the flare amplitude and chromospheric *** flare activity increases rapidly with the increase in the HαEW at the lower values(less approximately 2?)and it increases slowly at the higher values.

High sensitivity radio searches of unassociated γ-ray sources have proven to be an effective way of finding new pulsars. Using the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope(FAST) during its commissioning phase, we have carried out a number of targeted deep searches of Fermi Large Area Telescope(LAT) γ-ray sources. On February 27, 2018 we discovered an isolated millisecond pulsar(MSP), PSR J0318+0253, coincident with the unassociated γ-ray source 3 FGL J0318.1+0252. PSR J0318+0253 has a spin period of 5.19 ms, a dispersion measure(DM) of 26 pc cm-3 corresponding to a DM distance of about 1.3 kpc, and a period-averaged flux density of(~11±2) μJy at L-band(1.05-1.45 GHz). Among all high energy MSPs, PSR J0318+0253 is the faintest ever detected in radio bands, by a factor of at least ~4 in terms of L-band fluxes. With the aid of the radio ephemeris, an analysis of 9.6 years of Fermi-LAT data revealed that PSR J0318+0253 also displays strong γ-ray pulsations. Follow-up observations carried out by both Arecibo and FAST suggest a likely spectral turn-over around 350 MHz. This is the first result from the collaboration between FAST and the Fermi-LAT teams as well as the first confirmed new MSP discovery by FAST, raising hopes for the detection of many more MSPs. Such discoveries will make a significant contribution to our understanding of the neutron star zoo while potentially contributing to the future detection of gravitational waves, via pulsar timing array(PTA) experiments.

The planthopper genus Thabena Stal, 1861 （Hemiptera： Fulgoromorpha： Issidae： Issini） is reviewed to include four species from China： T hainanensis （Ran ＆ Liang, 2006）（China： Hainan）, T. lanpingensis sp. nov. （China： Yunnan）, T. litaoensis （Yang, 1994）（China： Taiwan, Hainan） and T. yunnanensis （Ran ＆ Liang, 2006）（China： Yunnan）. Two species, T. lanpingensis and T. litaoensis, are described or redescribed and illustrated. A key to all species of Thabena in China is given.

OBJECTIVE The abnormal amyloid-β(Aβ)and oxidative stress assiociated with the progression of Alzheimer disease(AD). Quercetin has been reported to possess antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties in neurodegenerative disorders. In this present study, we designed to characterize the mechanisms by which quercetin exerts neuroprotective effects in murine neuroblastoma N2a cells stably expressing human Swedish mutant amyloid precursor protein(N2a/APP). METHODS N2a/APP cells were treated with quercetin at concentrations of 10, 20 and 50 μmol · L-1for 24 h. Cell viability was examined with CCK-8 assays. The protein levels of ERK1/2 and Akt were detected by Western blotting. Intracellular reactive oxygen species(ROS) was detected by a fluorescent probe 2, 7-dichlorofluorescein diacetate(DCFH-DA). The mitochondrial membrane potential( Δψ m) in N2a/APP cells was detected by using JC-1staining method. Immunofluorescence was used to detect the generation of 8-hydroxy-2′-deoxyguanosine(8-OHdG)and 4-hydroxynonenal(4-HNE). RESULTS Quercetin attenuated the enhancement of p-ERK1/2, reductions of p-Akt, and decreased levels of APP expression. Moreover, quercetin alleviated loss of mitochondria membrane potential(MMP) since it attenuates these oxidative stress, as reflected in the levels of ROS, 4-HNE and 8-OHdG, was elevated in N2a/APP cells and these effects were again ameliorated by quercetin. CONCLUSION Neuroprotection by quercetin in N2a/APP cells involves normalizing the impaired mitochondrial function and reducing oxidative stress via inactivation of the ERK1/2and activation of the Akt pathways.
