Reported here is an iridium-catalyzed enantio-divergent C（sp3）–H borylation of α-gem-dimethyl groups of trifluoromethyl ketone-derived hydrazones to construct a series of acyclic all-carbon quaternary stereocenters with a high level of chiral induction. Two different chiral bidentate boryl ligands from a common chiral source not only can switch the enantioselectivity but also are complementary in terms of the substrate scope.

The low yield of MXene is normally related to the delaminating step,contributing to the key technical challenges in moving toward industrial ***,a shearing-force-driven strategy is proposed for re-exfoliating waste MXene residue to prepare oxidatively stable MXene composites in a low-cost manner,where the strong shear stress in the assisted solvent,such as carbon nanotubes(CNTs),chitosan(CS),and polyacrylamide(PAM)aqueous solutions,acts on the surface of MXene(Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x))through coordination between hydroxyl and Ti atoms,resulting in a rapid and efficient exfoliation of waste Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)residue under ***,this formed coordinate bond helps to stabilize the low-valent Ti atoms on the surface of MXene,thereby enhancing the oxidative stability of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x).Besides,the CNT@MXene composite is selected to construct a free-standing membrane to encapsulate Si nanoparticles,achieving a high and reversible capacity after 50 *** work supports the concept of valorizing waste and adopts a fluid shear forceassisted method to re-exfoliate waste residues,which greatly reduces the cost of processing and improves the chemical stability of *** importantly,this work has uncovered a new direction for the commercialization of MXene composites and has significantly improved the realworld applications of MXene-based materials.

The interlayer spacing(i.e.,d-spacing)plays a crucial role in determining the selectivity and permeability of nanofiltration membranes.A high-throughput directional filtration can be achieved by designing and controlling the *** this study,the d-spacing of a graphene oxide(GO)membrane was tuned and fixed to the desired value(approximately 0.79 nm)using a solution of polyethyleneimine(PEI)and GO at a PEI/GO mass ratio of15:*** resultant PEI/GO was deposited on a polyacrylonitrile(PAN)substrate to form a robust composite nanofiltration membrane(a PEI/GO@PAN membrane).The as-prepared membrane exhibited an ultrahigh flux of117.8 L·m^(-2)·h^(-1),and the rejection values for Direct Red80(DR80)and Na_(2)SO_(4)reached 99.7%and<1.7%,respectively;these are desirable values for dye/salt *** PEI/GO@PAN membrane exhibited an excellent filtration performance,and had a longer lifespan and excellent reusability because of its reinforced *** work suggested that tuning the d-spacing with PEI would be an effective strategy to achieve the anticipated functions of nanofiltration membranes.

A Chain of Type Ⅱ and Its Exact Solutions

The exact solutions of a chain of type Ⅱ are investigated. The chain of type Ⅱ is first transformed to an integrable differential-difference equation, which has the Kaup Newell spectral problem as its continuous spatial spectral problem and a Darboux transformation of the Kaup-Newell equation as its discrete temporal spectral problem. Then, with these spectral problems, a Darboux transformation of the transformed equation is constructed. Finally, as an application of the Darboux transformation, an exact solution of the transformed equation and thus the chain of type Ⅱ are presented.

Inventory transshipment among retailers is an effective strategy to manage supply disruption risks. The expected profit functions and the optimal ordering decisions of two newsvendors who adopt transshipment strategy to cope with upstream unreliability are derived. It is proved that transshipment strategy enhances the retailer's profit,improves the service level for customers,and under special conditions improves the supplier's profit as well. It is therefore claimed that transshipment strategy may achieve a Pareto improvement.

Severe performance drop and fire risk due to the uneven lithium(Li) dendrite formation and growth during charge/discharge process has been considered as the major obstacle to the practical application of Li metal *** inhibiting dendrite growth and producing a stable and robust solid electrolyte interface(SEI) layer are essential to enable the use of Li metal *** this work,a functional lithiophilic polymer composed of chitosan(CTS),polyethylene oxide(PEO),and poly(triethylene glycol dimethacrylate)(PTEGDMA),was homogeneously deposited on a commercial Celgard separator by combining electrospraying and polymer photopolymerization *** lithiophilic environment offered by the CTS-PEO-PTEGDMA layer enables uniform Li deposition and facilitates the formation of a robust homogeneous SEI layer,thus prevent the formation and growth of Li *** a result,both Li/Li symmetric cells and LiFePO4/Li full cells deliver significantly enhanced electrochemical performance and cycle *** after 1000 cycles,the specific capacity of the modified full cell could be maintained at65.8 mAh g^(-1), twice which of the unmodified cell(32.8 mAh g^(-1)).The long-term cycling stability in Li/Li symmetric cells,dendrite-free anodes in SEM images and XPS analysis suggest that the pulverization of the Li anode was effectively suppressed by the lithiophilic polymer layer.

Two hierarchies of new nonlinear differential-difference equations with one continuous variable and one discrete variable are constructed from the Darboux transformations of the Kaup-Newe11 hierarchy of equations. Their integrable properties such as recursion operator, zero-curvature representations, and bi-Hamiltonian structures are stud- ied. In addition, the hierarchy of equations obtained by Wu and Geng is identified with the hierarchy of two-component modified Volterra lattice equations.

Zinc ion batteries are considered as potential energy storage devices due to their advantages of low-cost,high-safety,and high theoretical ***,dendrite growth and chemical corrosion occurring on Zn anode limit their *** problems can be tackled through the optimization of the ***,the screening of electrolyte additives using normal electrochemical methods is time-consuming and ***,a fast and simple method based on the digital holography is *** can realize the in situ monitoring of electrode/electrolyte interface and provide direct information concerning ion concentration evolution of the diffusion *** is effective and time-saving in estimating the homogeneity of the deposition layer and predicting the tendency of dendrite growth,thus able to value the applicability of electrolyte *** feasibility of this method is further validated by the forecast and evaluation of thioacetamide *** on systematic characterization,it is proved that the introduction of thioacetamide can not only regulate the interficial ion flux to induce dendrite-free Zn deposition,but also construct adsorption molecule layers to inhibit side reactions of Zn *** easy to operate,capable of in situ observation,and able to endure harsh conditions,digital holography method will be a promising approach for the interfacial investigation of other battery systems.
