In this study,we introduce a novel multi-objective optimization model tailored for modern manufacturing,aiming to mitigate the cost impacts of operational disruptions through optimized corrective *** to our approach is the strategic placement of maintenance stations and the efficient allocation of personnel,addressing a crucial gap in the integration of maintenance personnel dispatching and station *** model uniquely combines the spatial distribution of machinery with the expertise of operators to achieve a harmonious balance between maintenance efficiency and *** core of our methodology is the NSGA Ⅲ+Dispatch,an advanced adaptation of the Non-Dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm Ⅲ(NSGA-Ⅲ),meticulously designed for the selection of maintenance stations and effective operator *** method integrates a comprehensive coding process,crossover operator,and mutation operator to efficiently manage multiple *** empirical testing,including a detailed analysis from a taiwan region electronic equipment manufacturer,validated the effectiveness of our approach across various scenarios of machine failure frequencies and operator *** findings reveal that the proposed model significantly outperforms current practices by reducing response times by up to 23%in low-frequency and 28.23%in high-frequency machine failure scenarios,leading to notable improvements in efficiency and cost ***,it demonstrates significant improvements in oper-ational efficiency,particularly in selective high-frequency failure contexts,while ensuring substantial manpower cost savings without compromising on operational *** research significantly advances maintenance strategies in production environments,providing the manufacturing industry with practical,optimized solutions for diverse machine malfunction ***,the methodologies and principles developed in this study have pote

This study proposed a new real-time manufacturing process monitoring method to monitor and detect process shifts in manufacturing *** real-time production process monitoring is critical in today’s smart *** more robust the monitoring model,the more reliable a process is to be under *** the past,many researchers have developed real-time monitoring methods to detect process shifts ***,thesemethods have limitations in detecting process shifts as quickly as possible and handling various data volumes and *** this paper,a robust monitoring model combining Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)and Random Forest(RF)with Real-Time Contrast(RTC)called GRU-RF-RTC was proposed to detect process shifts *** effectiveness of the proposed GRU-RF-RTC model is first evaluated using multivariate normal and nonnormal distribution ***,to prove the applicability of the proposed model in a realmanufacturing setting,the model was evaluated using real-world normal and non-normal *** results demonstrate that the proposed GRU-RF-RTC outperforms other methods in detecting process shifts quickly with the lowest average out-of-control run length(ARL1)in all synthesis and real-world problems under normal and non-normal *** experiment results on real-world problems highlight the significance of the proposed GRU-RF-RTC model in modern manufacturing process monitoring *** result reveals that the proposed method improves the shift detection capability by 42.14%in normal and 43.64%in gamma distribution problems.

The influence of upstream slope on the local scour at drop structure

The drop structure will fail as a result of local scoring *** paper discusses the influence of a drop structures' upstream slope to local *** equations of the scour hole were developed by laboratory experiment,theoretical assumptions,and regression *** equations include the maximum scour depth and length during the scouring period,the maximum equilibrium scour depth and length,and the unit width scour *** four channel slopes(0%,2%,4%,and 6%) before the drop structure has been included in the analysis.A series of laboratory experiments were conducted to obtain 48 groups of experiments and 419 scour hole profiles during the scouring *** material used in the scour section is uniform non-cohesive and with a median diameter of d50 = 0.5 *** results have been used to develop empirical equations via regression analysis to determine the coefficients of theoretical *** high correlation coefficient indicates that the equations developed in this study are suitable for verifying the characteristics of a scour hole at drop structure in the sloped *** semi-empirical equation is more accurate than the empirical *** to a horizontal channel,a sloped channel tends to cause a greater equilibriummaximum scour length,shorter equilibrium maximum scour depth,and faster unit-wide scour rate.

In this review,we discuss the chronic care model(CCM)in relation to the diabetes pay-for-performance(P4P)program in *** first introduce the 6 components of the CCM and provide a detailed description of each of the activities in the P4P program implemented in Taiwan,mapping them onto the 6 components of the *** each CCM component,the following three topics are described:the definition of the CCM component,the general activities implemented related to this component,and practical and empirical practices based on hospital or local government *** then conclude by describing the possible successful features of this P4P program and its challenges and future *** conclude that the successful characteristics of this P4P program in Taiwan include its focus on extrinsic and intrinsic incentives(i.e.,shared care network),physician-led P4P and the implementation of activities based on the CCM ***,due to the low rate of P4P program coverage,approximately 50%of patients with diabetes cannot enjoy the benefits of CCMrelated activities or receive necessary *** addition,most of these CCM-related activities are not allotted an adequate amount of incentives,and these activities are mainly implemented in hospitals,which compared with primary care providers,are unable to execute these activities *** of these issues,as well as insufficient implementation of the e-CCM model,could hinder the advanced improvement of diabetes care in Taiwan.

Osthole,an active component of Chinese herbal medicines,reportedly possesses various pharmacological properties and has potential therapeutic *** study explored the anti-allergic effects of osthole in asthmatic mice and investigated the immunomodulatory actions of osthole on dendritic cells(DCs)and T ***,we show that oral administration of osthole to BALB/c mice after ovalbumin(OVA)sensitization ameliorated all of the cardinal features of T helper 2(Th2)-mediated allergic asthma;namely,the production of OVA-specific immunoglobulin E,airway hyperresponsiveness,airway inflammation and the production of Th2-type cytokines including interleukin(IL)-4,IL-5 and ***,IL-10 production was not inhibited and was even enhanced by osthole *** observed a significant increase in the percentages of IL-10-producing DCs and forkhead box P3-positive regulatory T(Treg)cells in osthole-treated asthmatic ***,in vitro analyses revealed that osthole-treated bone-marrow-derived DCs had a partial maturation phenotype,secreting large amounts of IL-10 and low levels of proinflammatory cytokines,such as IL-12,IL-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α,and displaying reduced levels of MHC class II surface *** DCs displayed immunosuppressive capacity by directly inhibiting effector T-cell responses or inducing Treg *** addition,osthole directly inhibited the activated CD4+T-cell proliferation and Th1/Th2-type cytokine production in this ***,these results suggest that DCs and T cells are potential target cells responsible for the action of osthole against allergic asthma.

Meteorological influences on dengue transmission in Pakistan

Objective: To identify the influences of local and regional climate phenomena on dengue transmission in Lahore District of Pakistan, from 2006 to 2014. Methods: Time-series models were applied to analyze associations between reported cases of dengue and climatic parameters. The coherence trend of regional climate phenomena(IOD and ENSO) was evaluated with wavelet analysis. Results: The minimum temperature 4 months before the dengue outbreak played the most important role in the Lahore District(P=0.03). A NINO 3.4 index 9 months before the outbreaks exhibited a significant negative effect on dengue transmission(P=0.02). The IOD exhibited a synchronized pattern with dengue outbreak from 2010 to 2012. The ENSO effect(NINO 3.4 index) might have played a more important role after 2012. Conclusions: This study provides preliminary results of climate influences on dengue transmission in the Lahore District of Pakistan. An increasing dengue transmission risk accompanied by frequent climate changes should be noted. Integrating the influences of climate variability into disease prevention strategies should be considered by public health authorities.

A plant sesquiterpene lactone and its derivative reduce cutaneous side effect of vemurafenib,a BRAF inhibitor drug to treat late stage melanoma

OBJECTIVE To investigate the pharmacological effect of a plant sesquiterpene lactone(designated D)and its semi-organically synthesized novel derivative(designated S)and the role of lipid mediators,viz.,oxylipins in attenuating vemurafenib-induced cutaneous side *** A DMBA/TPAinduced skin carcinogenesis mouse model mimicking cutaneous side effect caused by vemurafenib was established to evaluate the efficacy of compound D and S in reversal of vemurafenib side *** oxylipin metabolomics platform using UPLC-TQD mass spectrometry coupled with partial least squares-discriminant analysis(PLS-DA)analysis,cell-based assays,and immunochemistry analysis were performed to elucidate the mechanism insights of DET and S compounds and the role of specific oxylipins in skin cancer *** Vemurafenib treatment expedited the skin papillomas formation in DMBA-TPA treated mouse from week 6 to week *** D and S compounds could suppress the vemurafenib side effect and also decrease total papillomas numbers(55% to 72%)and average sizes(66% to 89%).Oxylipins metabolome analysis shows that specific arachidonic acid metabolites may play a role in vemurafenib-induced squamous cell carcinoma or keratoacanthomas formation in mouse skin that can be deregulated by D or S compound ***,S compound can inhibit vemurafenib-induced paradoxical activation of MAP kinases in mouse skin or in NRAS mutant melanoma *** Our results indicate that plant sesquiterpene lactone D and its novel analog can reduce cutaneous side effect of vemurafenib through novel modes of action by inhibiting paradoxical activation of MAP kinases and de-regulating pro-inflammation mediators COX-2 and specific ecosanoid-type of *** study may suggest a novel adjuvant therapy approach in treatment of BRAFV600 Emutant melanoma.

Nature and(in-)coherent metamorphic evolution of subducted continental crust in the Neoproterozoic accretionary collage of SW Mongolia

A comparative study of pancreas transplantation between type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus

Background:Pancreas transplantation remains the best long-term treatment option to achieve physiological euglycemia and insulin independence in patients with labile diabetes mellitus(DM).It is widely accepted as an optimal procedure for type 1 DM(T1DM),but its application in type 2 DM(T2DM)is not unanimously ***:In total,146 diabetes patients undergoing pancreas transplantation were included in this *** data and outcomes were compared between the T1DM and T2DM ***:Majority(93%)of the pancreas transplantations in T2DM were for uremic *** occurred in 106(73%)patients,including 70(48%)with early complications before discharge and 79(54%)with late complications during follow-up ***,rejection of pancreas graft occurred in 37(25%)*** rejection rate in T2DM recipients was significantly lower than that in *** short-and long-term outcomes for endocrine function in terms of fasting blood sugar and hemoglobin A1c levels and graft survival rates are comparable between the T2DM and T1DM ***:T2DM is not inferior to T1DM after pancreas transplantation in terms of surgical risks,immunological and endocrine outcomes,and graft survival ***,pancreas transplantation could be an effective option to treat selected uremic T2DM patients without significant insulin resistance.
