Background:This study aimed to assess how acupoint catgut-embedding therapy influences Th2-type immune response and the infiltration of CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)cells in DNCB-induced atopic dermatitis in BALB/c *** also conducted an initial examination of the underlying molecular ***:Seventy-two mice were randomly divided into four groups:normal control,DNCB-induced atopic dermatitis model(AD),AD with acupoint catgut-embedding treatment(ADA),and AD with sham-acupoint catgut-embedding *** DNCB challenge to induce AD,the ADA group received acupoint catgut-embedding therapy treatment at Zusanli(ST 36)and Quchi(LI 11)acupoints every other week from day *** in the AD with sham-acupoint catgut-embedding treatment group underwent the same procedure as the ADA group but without catgut *** was assessed using SCORAD on treatment days 1,10,and *** day 18,nine mice per group were euthanized,and the remaining on day *** changes were observed using hematoxylin-eosin and immunohistochemistry ***-α,IL-4,IL-6,and IL-13 levels were analyzed by ELISA,and GATA3 and STAT6 protein levels by western ***:After 20 days of acupoint catgut-embedding therapy treatment,mice showed reduced dermatitis scores compared to DNCB-induced AD-like *** decreases occurred in serum IL-4,IL-6,IL-13,and TNF-α*** analysis revealed marked reductions in CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)cell infiltration,as well as GATA3 and STAT6 protein ***:Acupoint catgut-embedding therapy may effectively alleviate atopic dermatitis by suppressing Th2 immune responses via the STAT6-GATA3 pathway and reducing CD4^(+)and CD8^(+)T cell infiltration in skin lesions.

TLC Identification and Extraction Process of Rubiasin-1-methyl Ether from Yao medicine Chuanlianzhu

[Objectives]To establish a thin-layer chromatography(TLC)method for the determination of rubiadin-1-methyl ether in Yao medicine Chuanlianzhu(Damnacanthus giganteus).[Methods]A silica gel G thin-layer plate was adopted for *** ether(60-90℃)-chloroform-methanol-water(7:15:3:1)was used as the developing solvent and inspected under ultraviolet lamp(365 nm).The content was determined by Inertsil ODS-3 C 18 column(4.60 mm×250 mm,5μm),mobile phase:acetonitrile-0.2%phosphoric acid gradient elution,detection wavelength 277 nm,flow rate 1.0 mL/min,column temperature 30℃,injection volume 10μL.[Results]The spots of 10 Chuanlianzhu samples from different origins showed the same color at the same position as the control,and the spots were clear and *** injection volume of rubiadin-1-methyl ether showed a good linear relationship in the range of 2.90-145μg(R=0.9996).The average recovery rate of rubiadin-1-methyl ether in the low,medium and high dose groups of Yao medicine Chuanlianzhu was 98.72%,and RSD=1.78%.[Conclusions]This method can effectively identify Yao medicine Chuanlianzhu medicinal materials and accurately determine the content of rubiadin-1-methyl ether in the medicinal *** provides a scientific basis for the development and utilization of Yao medicine Chuanlianzhu medicinal resources.

Anti-inflammatory Effect of Polysaccharide from Embelia parviflora *** Rheumatoid Arthritis in Rats

[Objectives]To investigate the anti-inflammatory effect of Embelia parviflora *** on rheumatoid arthritis(RA)in rats.[Methods]RA rat model was induced by type II *** successful modeling,the rats were divided into model group,positive group,low,medium and high dose of *** *** groups,and normal control *** mass,toe volume and arthritis index were measured,and thymus index and spleen index were *** levels of interleukin-1β,interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-αin serum and synovial tissue of ankle joint were detected by ELISA.[Results]Compared with the normal control group,the pathological changes such as synovial hyperplasia and unclear layer were observed in the model group,the body mass was decreased(P0.05).[Conclusions]*** *** can reduce the body's inflammatory response and improve RA,which may be related to the inhibition of the activation of inflammatory cytokines IL-1β,IL-6 and TNF-α.

[Objectives]To study the anti-inflammatory effect of Laggerae Alatae Herba extract and its mechanism.[Methods]Inflammation models of xylene-induced ear edema in mice,acetic acid-induced increased permeability of abdominal capillaries in mice,and carrageenan-induced paw edema in mice were established;xylene-induced ear swelling model in bilateral adrenalectomized mice was *** levels of MDA,NO and SOD in inflammatory tissues of paw were measured.[Results]Compared with the model group,the high and medium dose groups of Laggerae Alatae Herba extract had significant inhibitory effect on xylene-induced ear edema in mice,except for the low dose group(P>0.05);Laggerae Alatae Herba extract inhibited the increase of celiac capillary permeability induced by acetic acid and paw edema induced by carrageenan in *** with the model group,in the mice model with bilateral adrenal glands removed,the high and medium dose groups of Laggerae Alatae Herba extract could significantly inhibit the xylene induced ear swelling of the *** high and medium dose groups of Laggerae Alatae Herba extract could significantly decrease the levels of MDA and NO,and significantly increase the level of SOD in the paw tissue.[Conclusions]The Laggerae Alatae Herba extracts have anti-inflammatory activity,and the anti-inflammatory effect of the extracts does not depend on the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis(HPAA)*** addition,the anti-inflammatory mechanism of Laggerae Alatae Herba extract is related to the decrease of MDA and NO and the increase of SOD.

[Objectives]To establish a TLC and content determination method of Pileostegia tomentellal,with umbelliferone as the indicator component.[Methods]TLC identification was performed by silica gel G thin layer plate with n-hexane-ethyl acetate(4:3)as the developing agent,and the plate was examined by UV lamp(365 nm).The umbelliferone content was determined by HPLC:Inertsil ODS-3 C 18 column(4.60 mm×250 mm,5μm);mobile phase acetonitrile-0.2%phosphoric acid gradient elution;detection wavelength 320 nm,flow rate 1.0 mL/min,column temperature 30℃,injection volume 10μL.[Results]The chromatogram of *** showed the same color spot in the same position as that of reference medicinal material,and the spot was clear with good *** showed a good linear relationship when the injection volume was 2.63-131.27μg/mL(R^(2)=0.9997).The average recovery of umbelliferone in the low,middle and high adding groups of *** was 99.57%and the RSD was 2.15%.[Conclusions]The method can effectively identify Yao medicine *** and accurately determine the content of umbelliferone in medicinal materials,which will provide a scientific basis for the development and utilization of medicinal resources of Yao medicine ***.

Risk Factors for Acute Kidney Injury in Patients Receiving Antibiotic Therapy:A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis

[Objectives]To systematically analyze the risk factors for acute kidney injury(AKI)in patients treated with antibiotics and to conduct a meta-analysis of published clinical studies.[Methods]PubMed,Web of Science,and Embase were searched for relevant cohort and case-control studies from January 1,2001,to October 31,***-analysis was performed using RevMan5.4 and StataMP15.[Results]A total of 22 studies were *** patient factors,serum creatinine(SCr;MD=1.03,95%CI of-0.07 to-0.02)was associated with increased antibiotic-associated *** the comorbidities and clinical factors,diabetes(OR=1.34,95%CI of 1.06 to 1.69,tumor(OR=2.07,95%CI of 1.13 to 3.79),pneumonia(OR=1.83,95%CI of 1.24 to 2.71),mechanical ventilation(OR=3.44,95%CI of 1.93 to 6.12),and ICU admission(OR=2.83,95%CI of 2.13 to 3.75)increased the risk of AKI in patients receiving antibiotic *** drug factors,diuretics(OR=2.76,95%CI of 2.16 to 3.52)increased the risk of antibiotic-associated AKI.[Conclusions]This paper may assist clinicians in predicting the risk factors for AKI in patients receiving antibiotic therapy.
