The current power grid confronts severe challenges in satisfying customers'*** transition to the much more flexible power grid enriched with renewable energies,micro-grid,and distributed energy resources has been considered as a straightforward solution to the customers’high *** smart equipment and renewable energies,electric power generation and storage through the power grid domains will be facilitated,which enables bi-directional energy and information *** power grid with such enhanced features is called Smart Grid(SG).Controlling and managing the diverse sets of variables in the SG requires precise measuring,monitoring,communicating,and analytic systems which increase the complexity of the *** complexity is the main barrier to the realization of the SG up to *** emergence of the Internet of Things(IoT)simplifies monitoring,communications,and data processing among smart things to connect to anything in the *** motivates the SG stakeholders and researchers to proceed with the best way to exploit the IoT technologies in the *** this survey paper,we summarize various efforts in this regard to highlight the advantages of the IoT-enabled SG and its probable *** this end,a comprehensive layered approach has been proposed in this paper to classify various applications of the IoT technologies in the *** IoT opportunities in each architecture layer facilitates the role of each technology and its relationship with other ***,open issues and future measures for the realization of IoT-enabled SG have been discussed in the paper.

Five organotin（IV） complexes, were obtained by reaction of SnR2C12 （R = Ph, Me, Bu） with ONO donor Schiff bases. The synthesized complexes have been investigated by elemental analysis and IR, 1H NMR, and ll9Sn NMR spectroscopy. These data show that the Schiff base acts as a tridentate dianionic ligand and coordinates via the imine nitrogen and two oxygen atoms. The X- ray crystallography of complex 4 shows a dimeric structure for this molecule. The in vitro antibacterial activities of the Schiff bases and their complexes have been evaluated against Gram-positive （Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus） and Gram-negative （Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa） bacteria and compared with the standard antibacterial drugs.

An environmentally benign aqueous protocol for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-（ 1 H）-ones and thiones promoted by a green catalyst, silica gel-supported L-pyrrolidine-2-carboxylic acid-4-hydrogen sulfate, has been developed. The use of nontoxic, thermally stable and inexpensive amino acid catalyst makes the process simple with minimal amount of chemical waste. Compared with classical Biginelli reaction conditions, this new method has the advantages of high yields and simple workup procedures.

Three new transition metal complexes have been synthesized with a Schiff base, 3-（2-hydroxy-5-chlorophenylimino）-1,3- diphenylpropen-l-one. In all complexes Schiff base is completely deprotonated and coordinated to metal as tridentate ligand via phenolic and enolic oxygens and imine nitrogen. Thermal decomposition of the complexes has been studied by thermogravimetry. The in vitro antibacterial activity of Schiff bases and their complexes has been evaluated and compared with the standard drugs.

The maximum entropy theory has been used in a wide variety of physical, mathematical and engineering applications in the past few years. However, its application in numerical methods, especially in developing new shape functions, has attracted much interest in recent years. These shape functions possess the potential for performing better than the conventional basis functions in problems with randomly generated coarse meshes. In this paper, the maximum entropy theory is adopted to spatially discretize the defonnation variable of the governing coupled equations of porous media. This is in line with the well-known fact that higher-order shape functions can provide more stable solutions in porous problems. Some of the benchmark problems in deformable porous media are solved with the developed approach and the results are compared with available references.

Nano-CaO was prepared by calcination of ball-milled chicken eggshell *** novel,bioactive,heterogeneous catalyst,which had high catalytic activity and reusability,was used in the green synthesis of pyrano[4,3-b]pyrans via condensation of various aromatic aldehydes,malononitrile,and 4-hydroxy-6-methyl-2H-pyran-2-one at 120 °C under solvent-free *** reaction proceeded to completion within 5–45 min in 93%–98% *** nano-CaO was fully characterized by scanning electron microscopy,X-ray powder diffraction,infrared spectroscopy,X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy,and thermal gravimetric,surface area,and elemental analyses.
