Symmetric Na-ion cells using the NASICON-structured electrodes could simplify the manufacturing process,reduce the cost,facilitate the recycling post-process,and thus attractive in the field of large-scale stationary energy ***,the long-term cycling performance of such batteries is usually *** investigation reveals the unavoidable side reactions between the NASICON-type Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)(NVP)anode and the commercial liquid electrolyte,leading to serious capacity fading in the symmetric NVP//NVP *** resolve this issue,an all-solid-state composite electrolyte is used to replace the liquid electrolyte so that to overcome the side reaction and achieve high anode/electrolyte interfacial *** ferroelectric engineering could further improve the interfacial ion conduction,effectively reducing the electrode/electrolyte interfacial *** NVP//NVP cell using the ferroelectric-engineered composite electrolyte can achieve a capacity retention of 86.4%after 650 ***,the electrolyte can also be used to match the Prussianblue cathode NaxFeyFe(CN)_(6−z)·nH_(2)O(NFFCN).Outstanding long-term cycling stability has been obtained in the all-solid-state NVP//NFFCN cell over 9000 cycles at a current density of 500 mA g^(-1),with a fading rate as low as 0.005%per cycle.

Stability of bedded rock slopes subjected to hydro-fluctuation and associated strength deterioration

Reservoir-induced earthquakes(RIEs)occur frequently in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area(TGRA)and the rock mass strength of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HFB)deteriorates severely due to the reservoirinduced seismic *** models of typical bedded rock slopes(BRSs),***(GIS),moderately(MIS),and steeply(SIS)inclined slopes,were proposed according to field *** dynamic response mechanism and stability of the BRSs,affected by the rock mass deterioration of the HFB,were investigated by the shaking table test and the universal distinct element code(UDEC)***,the amplification coefficient of the peak ground acceleration(PGA)of the slope was gradually attenuated under multiple seismic loads,and the acceleration response showed obvious“surface effect”and“elevation effect”in the horizontal and vertical directions,***“S-type”cubic function and“steep-rise type”exponential function were used to characterize the cumulative damage evolution of the slope caused by microseismic waves(low seismic waves)and high seismic waves,*** to the dynamic responses of the acceleration,cumulative displacement,rock pressure,pore water pressure,damping ratio,natural frequency,stability coefficient,and sliding velocity of the slope,the typical evolution processes of the dynamic cumulative damage and instability failure of the slope were generalized,and the numerical and experimental results were *** the dynamic effects of the slope height(SH),slope angle(SA),bedding plane thickness(BPT),dip angle of the bedding plane(DABP),dynamic load amplitude(DLA),dynamic load frequency(DLF),height of water level of the hydro-fluctuation belt(HWLHFB),degradation range of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DRHFB),and degradation shape of the hydro-fluctuation belt(DSHFB),the sensitivity of factors influencing the slope dynamic stability using the orthogonal analysis method(OAM)was DLA>DRHFB>SA>SH>DLF>HWLHFB>DSHFB>DABP>BPT.

The development of redox bifunctional electrocatalysts with high performance,low cost,and long lifetimes is essential for achieving clean energy *** study proposed an atom capture strategy for anchoring dual single atoms(DSAs)in a zinc-zeolitic imidazolate framework(Zn-ZIF),followed by calcination under an N_(2) atmosphere to synthesize ruthenium-platinum DSAs supported on a nitrogendoped carbon substrate(RuPt DSAs-NC).Theoretical calculations showed that the degree of Ru 5dxz-~*O 2p_x orbital hybridization was high when^(*)O was adsorbed at the Ru site,indicating enhanced covalent hybridization of metal sites and oxygen ligands,which benefited the adsorption of intermediate *** presence of the RuPtN_6 active center optimized the absorption-desorption behavior of intermediates,improving the electrocatalytic performance of the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)and the oxygen evolution reaction(DER),RuPt DSAs-NC exhibited a 0.87 V high half-wave potential and a 268 mV low overpotential at 10 mA cm^(-2)in an alkaline ***,rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs)achieved a peak power density of 171 MW cm^(-2).The RuPt DSAs-NC demonstrated long-term cycling for up to 500 h with superior round-trip *** study provided an effective structural design strategy to construct DSAs active sites for enhanced electrocata lytic performance.

The gut microbiome interacts with the host to maintain body homeostasis,with gut microbial dysbiosis implicated in many ***,the underlying mechanisms of gut microbe regulation of host behavior and brain functions remain *** study aimed to elucidate the influence of gut microbiota on brain functions via post-translational modification mechanisms in the presence or absence of bacteria without any *** conducted succinylome analysis of hippocampal proteins in germ-free(GF)and specific pathogen-free(SPF)mice and metagenomic analysis of feces from SPF *** results were integrated with previously reported hippocampal acetylome and phosphorylome data from the same batch of *** bioinformatics analyses revealed 584 succinylation sites on 455 proteins,including 54 up-regulated succinylation sites on 91 proteins and 99 down-regulated sites on 51 proteins in the GF mice compared to the SPF *** constructed a panoramic map of gut microbiota-regulated succinylation,acetylation,and phosphorylation,and identified cross-talk and relative independence between the different types of post-translational modifications in modulating complicated intracellular *** correlation analysis indicated that 13 taxa,predominantly belonging to the Bacteroidetes phylum,were correlated with the biological functions of post-translational *** correlations between these taxa and succinylation and negative correlations between these taxa and acetylation were identified in the modulation of intracellular *** study highlights the hippocampal physiological changes induced by the absence of gut microbiota,and proteomic quantification of succinylation,phosphorylation,and acetylation,contributing to our understanding of the role of the gut microbiome in brain function and behavioral phenotypes.

Zinc-air batteries (ZABs) offer tremendous potential in various industries and daily life due to their excellent energy density,safety and ***,the practical application of ZABs has been severely hindered by challenges such as high low round-trip efficiencies and overpotential,primarily attributed to the inherent sluggish kinetics in the oxygen evolution reaction(OER) of air *** address these issues effectively and economically,heterojunction engineering accompanied by interfacial chemistry emerges as an ideal approach to designing efficient OER ***,a novel heterogeneous interfacial chemical structure,namely NiCoP/NiFe LDH (layered double hydroxide),needle-like NiCoP and NiFe LDH nanosheets were assembled from cores and shells,***,the NiCoP/NiFe LDH-based ZABs have an exceptionally long cycle life of 238 h,far superior to Pt/C+Ir/C batteries (～97 h).Theoretical calculations and experimental results demonstrate that NiCoP/NiFe LDH possesses tunable interfacial chemistry,demonstrating significant electronic,coordination,geometric and synergistic *** enhancements dramatically improve the active site density,intrinsic activity and electrochemical durability of the *** summary,this work provides a solid foundation for the development of costeffective OER electrocatalysts for electrochemical energy devices.

Current methods for point cloud semantic segmentation depend on the extraction of descriptive features. However, unlike images, point clouds are irregular and often lack texture information, making it demanding to extract discriminative features. In addition, noise, outliers, and uneven point distribution are commonly present in point clouds, which further complicates the segmentation task. To address these problems, a novel architecture is proposed for direct and accurate large-scale point cloud segmentation based on point cloud retrieval and alignment. The proposed approach involves using a feature-based point cloud retrieval method for searching for reference point clouds with annotations from a dataset. In the following segmentation stage, an overlap-based point cloud registration method has been developed to align the target and reference point clouds. For accurate and robust alignment, an overlap region estimation module is trained to locate the optimal overlap region between two pieces of point clouds in a coarse-to-fine manner. In the detected overlap region, the global and local features of the points are extracted and combined for featuremetric registration to obtain accurate transformation parameters between the target and reference point clouds. After alignment, the annotated segmentation of the reference is transferred to the target point clouds to obtain accurate segmentation results. Extensive experiments are conducted to show that the developed method outperforms the state-of-the-art approaches in terms of both accuracy and robustness against noise and outliers.

Bacillus subtilis (B. subtilis) JZXJ-7 isolated from shrimp paste can significantly degrade histamine under salt stress but the mechanism is unclear. This study aims to evaluate the effect of 170 and 340 mmol/L NaCl on B. subtilis JZXJ-7 growth， histamine degradation， antioxidant enzymes [catalase (CAT)， superoxide dismutase (SOD) and glutathione S-transferase (GST)] activities and Na+， K+-ATPase activity. Furthermore， comparative metabolomics was used to investigate histamine biodegradation mechanism by *** JZXJ-7 subjected to salt stress. Both 170 and 340 mmol/L NaCl promoted B. subtilis JZXJ-7 growth in late stages of reproduction (32 - 48 h)， increased histamine degradation rate by 64.85% and 79.87% (P < 0.05)， Na+， K+-ATPase activity to 6.28 U/mg (P < 0.05) and 11.63 U/mg (P < 0.01) respectively. NaCl treatment significantly increased the activities of CAT， GST and SOD (P < 0.05)， amino acids and its metabolites (33.39%)， benzene and substituted derivatives (12.05%)， heterocyclic compounds (10.62%)， organic acids and derivatives (9.75%)， aldehydes， ketones， esters (5.59%) and nucleotides and its metabolites (4.58%). Metabolite set enrichment analysis revealed NaCl induced differential metabolic pathways of D-glutamine， D-glutamate， L-arginine， L-proline， histidine and glycerophospholipids， L-lysine degradation， and aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis. Exposure to 340 mmol/L NaCl up-regulated carbohydrate， glutathione and glycerophospholipid metabolism. The new insights into the mechanism of salt stress to promote B. subtilis JZJX-7 growth， energy metabolic pathways and to degrade histamine provide the theoretical basis for application of B. subtilis JZXJ-7 in food fermentation industry.

In this paper,we explore a distributed collaborative caching and computing model to support the distribution of adaptive bit rate video *** aim is to reduce the average initial buffer delay and improve the quality of user *** the difference between global and local video popularities and the time-varying characteristics of video popularity,a two-stage caching scheme is proposed to push popular videos closer to users and minimize the average initial buffer *** on both long-term content popularity and short-term content popularity,the proposed caching solution is decouple into the proactive cache stage and the cache update *** the proactive cache stage,we develop a proactive cache placement algorithm that can be executed in an off-peak *** the cache update stage,we propose a reactive cache update algorithm to update the existing cache policy to minimize the buffer *** results verify that the proposed caching algorithms can reduce the initial buffer delay efficiently.
