Effect of Stimulating the BL67 Point on Fetal Correction from Breech to Cephalic Presentation and Natural Delivery after the 36 Weeks of Pregnancy: A Randomized Clinical Trial

Objective:Various techniques are proposed for changing fetal *** aimed to assess the effect of BL67 point stimulation on correcting breech presentation and natural delivery in women at 36-38 gestational ***:A parallel single blinded randomized clinical trial was conducted on 72 eligible pregnant women with breech presentation at the 36 weeks of *** subjects were divided into two groups-intervention(n=36)and control groups(n=36)by block randomization *** intervention group stimulated the BL67 point by self-administration for 20 min once a day for 2 ***,the appearance of cephalic presentation and rate of vaginal delivery was compared between the groups(n1=n2=32)using the Chi-square test and multivariate logistic ***:The correction of breech to cephalic presentation occurred in 53.1% of patients in the intervention *** adjusted relative risk(RR)for fetal correction from breech to cephalic was 1.80(RR=1.80,95%confidence interval[CI],1.13-5.17).It was shown that the stimulation of the BL67 point increased the correction of breech to cephalic *** addition,the rate of vaginal delivery increased by>4-fold(RR=4.16,95%CI,2.54-6.82)by correction to cephalic ***,65.6%of mothers in intervention group and 90.6%in the control group underwent cesarean ***:The stimulation of the BL67 point is a safe,inexpensive,and effective method that can be self-administered at home for fetal correction from breech to cephalic presentation in women with breech presentations during 36-38 gestational *** promotes uncomplicated natural childbirth.

Purpose： Road traffic accidents are one of main problems in Iran. Multiple factors cause traffic accidents and the most important one is sleepiness. This factor, however, is given less attention in our country. Road traffic accidents relevant to sleepiness are studied. Methods： In this cross-sectional study, all road traffic accidents relevant to sleepiness, which were re- ported by police, were studied in Tehran province in 2009. Results： The risk of road traffic accidents due to sleepiness was increased by more than sevenfold （odds ratio = 7.33） in low alertness hours （0：00-6：00） compared to other time of day. The risk of road traffic accidents due to sleepiness was decreased by 0.15-fold （odds ratio - 0.15） in hours with maximum of alertness （18：00-22：00） of circadian rhythm compared to other time of day. Conclusion： The occurrence of road traffic accidents due to sleepiness has significant statistical relations with driving during lowest point of alertness of circadian rhythm.

A Comparison between Dietary Habits for Pregnant Women with Preterm and Term Delivery in Khorasan, Iran

Background: Despite the advances in prenatal care and improving health indicators, preterm delivery and resultant infant mortality rate are still considerable. Emerged financial, social, mental and emotional damages could result in mental and behavioral disabilities for mothers as well as children. Although spontaneous preterm labor is well known as a multifactorial issue, yet poor nutrition is assumed as a strong related factor. Objective: To identify the role of dietary habits on preterm delivery prevalence in Iran, this study was conducted on pregnant women with preterm and term delivery. Methods: In this retrospective case-control study, 70 women with preterm labor and 70 women with term labor were compared in terms of their dietary habits. Women who met the inclusion criteria and referred to two hospitals in North-East of Iran were selected using purposive convenience sampling method and completed 163-item food frequency and dietary habits questionnaire. Results: This study showed that dietary habits of women with preterm labor are more unfavorable compared to women with term labor (P = 0.023). Generally, dietary habit of more than half of the women with preterm labor, in this study, was assessed unfavorable. In terms of different food groups, daily intake of vegetables was significantly lower in women with preterm labor (P = 0.02). Consumption of dairy products was also lower in women with preterm labor than women with term labor which was significant (P = 0.05). Conclusion: To prevent adverse outcomes of preterm delivery more attention regarding nutritional planning for pregnant women seems to be essential.

阿月浑子树木虱Agonoscena pistaciaeBurckhardt and Lauterer（半翅目：木虱总科）是伊朗园林树木阿月浑子树上常见的最具破坏性的害虫,其捕食性天敌锈褐原花蝽Anthocoris minki pistaciaeWagner在伊朗阿月浑子树种植区为该害虫的生防因子。本研究在17.5~35℃的8个恒温以及相对湿度55%±5%,光照周期16L∶8D的控制条件下,在***若虫上饲养这种捕食性花蝽的同时,调查温度对其发育的影响。结果表明：这种捕食性花蝽在17.5~32℃下可成功发育;然而在35℃下,卵不能孵化,且只有10%的若虫进入成虫阶段。30℃下从卵至成虫羽化的发育历期最短。据测算估计,这种捕食性花蝽的卵、若虫发育以及整个发育（卵至成虫）的积温分别为77,200和263度.日;卵、若虫和整个发育的低温度阈值分别为8.53,9.2和9.47℃。这些结果为建立阿月浑子树木虱的综合防治计划提供了宝贵的信息。

Background: Chest wall tumors are rare and mostly malignant. More than half of the malignancies are primary and the remainder are metastatic. Many studies have reported that metastatic lesions occur with about the same frequency as primary tumor. We evaluate common histological types of chest wall tumors in a tertiary center for respiratory and thoracic diseases (National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease). Method: We performed a retrospective study of chest wall tumors at National Research Institute of Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (NRITLD) from April 2001 to March 2010. The pathology slides of patients were retrieved from the pathology archive of NRITLD and reviewed by two pathologists. The lesions were classified as primary or metastatic according to the relevant clinical data and imaging findings. Result: A total of 124 chest wall tumors were identified in patients with a mean age of 47.7 years (range 4-90 years). The male/female ratio was 2:1. The most commonly affected side was the right (42.7%). There were 105 malignant tumors (84.7%), out of which 49 (46.2%) were primary and 57 (53.8%) were metastatic in origin. The majority of the metastatic lesions were epithelial tumors (36/57) (63.1%). The metastatic origin was clear in 51 cases, mostly arising from the lungs (35.7%). The most common types of primary chest wall tumors were primitive neuroectodermal tumor (15/49, 30.6%), chondrosarcoma (7/49, 14.3%), and malignant fibrous histiocytoma, undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (5/49, 10.2%). The most common benign tumor was lipoma (5/18, 35.7%). Conclusion: Most common tumors of chest wall in this study were malignant, mostly metastatic epithelial neoplasms.

Background:Veterans with purely physical disorders,such as ankle-foot neuromusculoskeletal disorders,are often neglected in psychological assessments because mental health evaluations are usually focused on those with a psychological disturbance or with a high percentage of *** purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychological condition of veterans with ankle-foot neuromusculoskeletal ***:A cross-sectional study was performed between 2014 and 2016 on veterans with war-related ankle-foot injuries living in two provinces of *** information form for demographic data and injury-related factors was ***,the previously validated Persian version of the Symptom Checklist-90-Revision(SCL-90-R)questionnaire was used for data ***:The respondents were 215 male veterans with a mean age of 51.7±7.5 *** most common mental health problems were observed for the somatization(24.7%),obsessions-compulsions(14.4%),and anxiety(12.6%).Based on the Global Severity Index(GSI),48.6%of individuals had a possible psychiatric/psychological *** to the multivariate regression analysis,GSI scores were significantly higher among veterans who were older than 27 years at the time of injury(P=0.005),had an associated injury(P=0.002),and had a history of hospitalization within the past 12 months for reasons other than their injury(P=0.035).Conclusion:Approximately half of the combat veterans with ankle-foot neuromusculoskeletal disorders likely had psychological *** evaluation of the patterns and predicting factors of psychological conditions may inform strategic planning efforts and decision-making,which,in turn,may provide a better quality of life for *** studies that utilize longitudinal designs are needed to evaluate and compare the psychological status of different groups of veterans and other groups in the general population.

Hospitals have always been the focal point of social systems identity. Thus, they acte as the mirror of the community and should be responsible for it. Hospitals have been recognized as a significant source of contamination all around the world, therefore helping to endanger public health on an unintentional process. Although, the main mission of the hospital is to promote human health, it cannot be assumed as an island apart from its urban environment. “Green Hospital”, as an approach to address environmental challenges and to meet communities need in health issues, has emerged recently as a try to improve the health, in line with its main mission. In this approach, all the environmental aspects of waste management are important and to be addressed. Hospitals’ administrators can manage wastes disposal through composting, recycling and better supplying methods (downsizing packaging, using reusable products instead of disposables and using recycled products). This article is a review of the subject matter, in nature, using many library and online sources;it discusses about the need to move towards the green hospital approach, the administration and leadership role in its establishment, the environmental impact of hospital operations and assessment of the effects, wastes management and control, and also the methods in wastes disposal and treatment.
