目的探讨两种不同体位超声心动图右心声学造影在卵圆孔未闭(PFO)诊断中的价值。方法选取2022年1月至2024年3月在常德市第二人民医院住院治疗的63例疑PFO患者,均给予经胸超声心动图(TTE)检查。检查时,同一患者均分别采取右侧卧位45°与左侧卧位45°两种体位;将生理盐水8 ml与自体静脉血1 ml及空气1 ml激活作为造影剂,进行快速静脉推注。两种体位均分别进行静息状态下和Valsalva发泡试验,观察3~6个心动周期内左心微气泡显影数量,比较两种不同体位左心腔内右向左分流微气泡数量。结果左心内微泡数量RLS分级结果显示,右侧卧位静息显影率为73.6%,大于左侧卧位的45.3%;Valsalva试验结果显示,右侧卧位显影率为88.6%,大于左侧卧位的75.5%,P<0.05。结论采取右侧卧位可提高TTE右心声学造影中PFO患者检出率。

Effect of Organic Additives on the Performance of Nano-sized Ru-Zn Catalyst

A novel Ru-Zn catalyst was prepared by coprecipitation. The catalyst was characterized by XRF, XRD and TEM. The effects of organic additives on the performance of the Ru-Zn catalyst for benzene selective hydrogenation to cyclohexene were investigated. The results showed that the catalyst was composed of Ru and Zn in molar ratio of 33.8 ： 1, and the most probable value of the Ru crystallite size in the catalyst was 5.1 nm. The modification of Ru with Zn and the small size effect were the main cause why the catalyst exhibited the high activity and the excellent cyclohexene selectivity. When PEG （polyethylene glycol） was used as an additive, the activity of the catalyst decreased, and the cyclohexene selectivity increased with the increase of the PEG molecular weight. With the addition of PEG-20000, a cyclohexene selectivity of 78.9% at a benzene conversion of 68.7% and a maximum cyclohexene yield of 61.4% were obtained. With diethanolamine and triethanolamine as additives, cyclohexene yields were as high as 58.9% and 58.2%, respectively.

Liquid metals are a class of metals that are fluids at room temperature. They have surface tension, that is approximately an order of magnitude higher than that of water, owing to the high surface energy of metals. The ultra-high surface tension creates a stream of liquid metal droplets to minimize surface energy, and therefore, creating other shapes is difficult. Enormous efforts have been made to manipulate liquid metals into various shapes and patterns, and are driven by emerging opportunities for soft.

To explain the recent three-year La Niña event from 2020 to 2022,which has caused catastrophic weather events worldwide,Fasullo et al.(2023)demonstrated that the increase in biomass aerosol resulting from the 2019-20 Australian wildfire season could have triggered this multi-year La Niñ***,we present compelling evidence from paleo-proxies,utilizing a substantial sample size of 26 volcanic eruptions in the Southern Hemisphere(SH),to support the hypothesis that ocean cooling in the SH can lead to a multi-year La Niña *** research highlights the importance of focusing on the Southern Ocean,as current climate models struggle to accurately simulate the Pacific response driven by the Southern Ocean.

Conventional base-catalyzed epoxy/aliphatic thiol systems have a poor storage stability,and are impossible to be one-pot systems.A widely accepted solution is to use the latent catalysts,which are usually insoluble anionic initiators sensitive to impurities and moisture,and have many limitations in practical *** this work,a soluble thiol-terminated imidothioether oligomer(TPI) was synthesized and used as a latent hardener and modifier to prepare one-pot epoxy/thiol systems without the latent *** latent behavior and curing mechanism of epoxy systems(EP/TPI series),consisted of bisphenol A diglycidyl ether(DGEBA),pentaerythritol tetrakis(mercaptoacetate)(PETMP) and TPI,were *** thiol exchange reaction between TPI and PETMP preceded the curing reaction of DGEBA,and produced aromatic thiols,which were unreactive at ambient conditions and reacted with DGEBA to form the thermosets at temperatures above 130 ℃.At the loading of 24.4 wt%TPI,the epoxy system(EP/TPI-3) had a shelf life of 13 days and was completely cured within 20 min at 180 ℃.Meanwhile,the catalyst-free curing process of EP/TPI-3 system was insensitive to impurities and ***,the thermal and mechanical properties of EP/TPI-3 thermoset were simultaneously improved,thereinto,the glass transition temperature,Young's modulus and ultimate tensile strength were increased by 16.7 ℃,12.9%,and 13.6%,respectively,compared with those of the commercial DGEBA/PETMP *** work shows that TPI has the potential to be a powerful alternative to commercial latent catalysts,and EP/TPI thermosets with high performance have broad application prospects.

Huanglian Wendan decoction(HLWDD) has been used for the treatment of symptom of "Re", one of major causes in diabetes and metabolic disorders, according to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine. The present study aimed at investigating the cerebral protective effects of HLWDD on diabetic encephalopathy(DE), one of the major diabetic complications. The effects of HLWDD and metformin were analyzed in the streptozocin(STZ) + high-glucose-fat(HGF) diet-induced DE rats by gastric intubation. In the present study, the effects of HLWDD on cognition deficits were investigated after 30-day intervention at two daily dose levels(3 and 6 g·kg^(-1)). To explore the potential mechanisms underlying the effects of HLWDD, we detected the alterations of neuronal damages, inflammatory cytokines, and impaired insulin signaling pathway in hippocampus of the DE rats. Based on our results from the present study, we concluded that the protective effects of HLWDD against the cognitive deficits and neuronal damages through inhibiting the release of inflammatory cytokines and repairing insulin signaling pathway in hippocampus of the DE rats.

Photosynthetic and Respiratory Acclimation to Experimental Warming for Four SpeCies in a Tallgrass Prairie Ecosystem

Global temperature has been Increased by 0.6 ℃ over the past century and is predicted to Increase by 1.4-5.8 ℃ by the end of this century. It is unclear what impacts global warming will have on tallgrass species. In the present study, we examined leaf net photosynthetic rate （P.） and leaf respiration rate in darkness （Rd） of Aster erlcoldes （L.） Nesom, Ambrosia psllostachya DC., Helianthus mollis Lam., and Sorghastrum nutans （L.） Nash In response to experimental warming in a tallgrass prairie ecosystem of the Great Plains, USA, in the autumn （fall） of 2000 and through 2001. Warming has been Implemented with infrared heaters since 21 November 1999. The P. increased significantly In spring, decreased in early fall, and did not change in summer and late fall in the four species under warming compared with control. The Rd of the four species increased significantly until mid-summer and then did not change under warming. Measured temperature-response curves of P. showed that warming Increased the optimum temperature of P. （Topt） by 2.32 and 4.59 ℃ for H. mollis and S. nutans, respectively, in August, whereas there were no changes in May and September, and A. ericoldes and A. psllostachya also showed no changes in any of the 3 months. However, P. at optimum temperature （Popt） showed downregulation in September and no regulation in May and August for all four species. The temperature-response curves of Rd Illustrate that the temperature sensitivity of Rd, Q10, was lower in the warmed plots compared with the control plots, except for A. ericoides in August, whereas there were no changes In May and September for all four species. The results of the present study indicate that photosynthetic and respiratory acclimation varies with species and among seasons, occurring In the mid-growing season and not in the early and late growing seasons.

Characterization and Mechanism Elucidation of Dye Adsorption Using Cuprous Selenide Nanoparticles from Aqueous Solutions

The removal of cationic dyes, methylene blue（MB） and rhodamine B（RB）, and anionic dyes, methylorange（MO） and eosin Y（EY）, from aqueous solutions by adsorption using Cu2Se nanoparticles（Cu2SeNPs） was stu-died. The effects of the initial pH values, adsorbent doses, contact time, initial dye concentrations, salt concentrations,and operation temperatures on the adsorption capacities were investigated. The adsorption process was better fittedthe Langmuir equation and pseudo-second-order kinetic model, and was spontaneous and endothermic as well. Theadsorption mechanism was probably based on the electrostatic interactions and π-π interactions between Cu2SeNPsand dyes. For an adsorbent of 0.4 g/L of Cu2SeNPs, the adsorption capacities of 23. I（MB）, 22.9（RB） and 23.9（EY）mg/g were achieved, respectively, with an initial dye concentration of 10 mg/g（pH=8 for MB and pH=4 for RiB andEY） and a contact time of 120 min. The removal rate of MB was still 70.4% for Cu2SeNPs being reused in the 5thcycle. Furthermore, the recycled Cu2SeNPs produced from selenium nanoparticles adsorbing copper were also an ef-fective adsorbent for the removal of dyes. Cu2SeNPs showed great potential as a new adsorbent for dyes removal dueto its good stability, functionalization and reusability.

Aluminum is an attractive alternative fuel,but it burns very inefficiently due to the formation of a dense Al_(2)O_(3)layer which prevents O_(2)from diffusion to the surface of Al *** previous experiments,the combustion of millimeter-sized Al(mAl)particles in the fluidized bed has achieved a substantial increase in the combustion efficiency,but further improvements are still *** this study,the effects of reaction atmosphere on the fluidized combustion of mAl particles were *** experiments with different O_(2)/H_(2)O/CO_(2)concentrations were *** experimental results indicate that the combustion efficiency of mAl particles in fluidized bed increases as the mole fraction of O_(2),H_(2)O or CO_(2)increases,and the highest combustion efficiency can reach 38.7%.After the analysis of the oxide film on the surface of aluminum particles,it was found that it is easier to generate the unstableθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under CO_(2)atmosphere,and it is easier to generate the unstableγ-Al_(2)O_(3)andθ-Al_(2)O_(3)under H_(2)O *** unstable Al_(2)O_(3)film is more likely to be abraded in the fluidized bed,which leads to the effective improvement of the combustion efficiency.
