Eco-geotechnical measures for debris flow mitigation and control have attracted wide attention,but the mitigation effect is lack of quantitative evaluation of coordinated *** order to evaluate the debris flow mitigation effect in the combinations of geotechnical engineering and ecological engineering,this study investigated the different trends of debris flows behaviour based on the sediment deposition on the gully bed and the loose material on the ***,this research proposed a new model involving vegetation coverage,source gravity energy and debris flow volume based on vegetation-erosion *** new model validated that the debris flow volume was proportional to the gravity energy of gravel and rock fragments on the hillslope and inversely proportional to the vegetation coverage in a dry-hot valley ***,a typical area in the valley of the Xiaojiang River in yunnan Province,China was quantified with the new *** results showed that under different gravity energy conditions,the implementation order of check dam construction and afforestation was important for debris flow mitigation.

To provide a new idea to reduce anisotropy for sheets in the thickness direction by microstructure modification and,mean-while,maintain or even enhance tensile performance,the in-situ ZrB2 particle/AA7085 composite sheets with thicknesses of 1,2,3,and 6 mm were *** as-cast grain size was significantly refined by the heterogeneous nucleus of the ZrB2 *** microstructure results show that severe hot deformation converts as-cast disordered microstructure into a sequential microstructure by crushing the remanent phases and matrix into a fiber *** the solid solution and aging heat treatment,the composite sheets exhibit largely recrystallized grains compared with partially recrystallized grains in the matrix sheets,and weak or even free texture exists in the *** grain size in the composite sheets decreases with the increase in thickness *** the thickness range of 1-3 mm,the composite sheets maintain a similar tensile per-formance as that in matrix sheets,while the strength and ductility in the 6-mm-thick composite sheet are improved.

In a recent study published in Nature,Sun et al.(2023)discovered that targeting TANK-binding kinase 1(TBK1)can successfully overcome resistance to immune checkpoint blockade(ICB)treatment and the study revealed its potential *** authors provided evidence that the disruption of TBK1 signal enhances the blockade of programmed cell death protein-1(PD-1)and promotes anti-tumor immunity in the tumor microenvironment(TME).Tumor cells rely on Janus kinase(JAK)and signal transducer as well as activator of transcription(STAT)signals to elicit an immune response by perceiving tumor necrosis factorα(TNF-α)and interferon-γ(IFN-γ),resulting in receptor-interacting protein kinase(RIPK)-caspase-mediated cell death in tumor cells(Figure 1).

Ecosystem service flow is essential for transporting,transforming,and maintaining ecosystem services and connecting supply and *** study attempted to quantitatively assess the supply and demand flows of ecosystem services in the Yangtze River Basin in 2000,2010,and 2020;assess the evolution of the spatial patterns of ecosystem service flow at the provincial,watershed and urban agglomeration scales;and design a zoning standard for ecosystem service *** results showed as follows.1)Between 2000 and 2020,the Yangtze River had a progressive drop in its freshwater supply,water conservation service and carbon sequestration service *** decline rates for these services were measured at 10.90%,11.11%,and 5.17%,*** climate regulation service flow exhibited a pattern of initial fall followed by a subsequent increase,characterized by a decline rate of 35.53%.2)The lowest was the ecosystem service flow in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Yangtze River Delta urban *** supply service flow and water conservation service flow were the highest in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River and the Chengdu-Chongqing urban *** sequestration service flow and climate regulation service flow were the highest in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River Basin and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River.3)From 2000 to 2020,the change ratios of the area proportion of the confluence,flow,and outflow areas in the Yangtze River Basin were 1.06,3.17,and 0.86,*** results of this research could offer decision support for regulating ecosystem services in the Yangtze River Basin,promoting sustainable regional development and achieving rational use of the basin resources.

Due to the depletion of traditional fossil fuels and the aggravation of related environmental problems,hydrogen energy is gaining more attention all over the *** oxide fuel cell(SOFC)is a promising power generation technology operating on hydrogen with a high *** further boost the power output of a single cell and thus a single stack,increasing the cell area is an effective ***,it was recently found that further increasing the effective area of an SOFC single cell with a flat-tubular structure and symmetric double-sided cathodes would result in a lower areal *** this work,a multi-physical model is built to study the effect of the effective area on the cell *** distribution of different physical fields is systematically *** of the cell performance is also pursued by systematically tuning the cell operating condition and the current collection *** improvement of 42%is revealed by modifying the inlet gas flow rates and by enhancing the current *** the future,optimization of cell geometry will be performed to improve the homogeneity of different physical fields and thus to improve the stability of the cell.

In this paper,a stiffening design imitating the bamboo node is proposed for weight reduction of the long composite pipe beam subjected to bending *** distribution of bamboo nodes can efficiently suppress the ovalization of the section,thus significantly improving the bending resistance of the *** on this principle,ring stiffeners are proposed to be fixed to the pipe beam,making the long beam equivalent to the combination of a series of short pipes that suffered less section ovalization.A database of the optimal laminate orientations for different normalized lengths is obtained through optimizations,where the discreteness of the ply count is *** on this database,weight optimizations are conducted,and the optimal designs of beams with and without stiffeners are obtained and *** comparison results show that the proposed bamboo-like stiffened beam not only regains a near-linear load–displacement relationship,but also reduces the weight by up to 16%under the same buckling *** addition,it is found that for the pipe beams with radius-to-thickness ratios of more than 18,increasing the radius leads to a decrease in elastic buckling resistance when the weight remains a constant,which is opposite to the design for strength and *** model and database developed in this paper can provide a reference for weight reduction design and weight estimation for composite pipe beams.

UreteroPelvic Junction Obstruction(UPJO)is a common hydronephrosis disease in children that can result in an even progressive loss of renal *** is an economical,radiationless,noninvasive,and high noise preliminary diagnostic step for *** intelligence has been widely applied to medical fields and can greatly assist doctors'diagnostic *** demand for a highly secure network environment in transferring electronic medical data online,therefore,has led to the development of blockchain *** this study,we built and tested a framework that integrates a deep learning diagnosis model with blockchain *** diagnosis model is a combination of an attention-based pyramid semantic segmentation network and a discrete wavelet transformation-processed residual classification *** also compared the performance between benchmark models and our *** diagnosis model outperformed benchmarks on the segmentation task and classification task with MloU=87.93,MPA=93.52,and accuracy=91.77%.For the blockchain system,we applied the InterPlanetary File System protocol to build a secure and private sharing *** framework can automatically grade the severity of UPJO using ultrasound images,guarantee secure medical data sharing,assist in doctors'diagnostic ability,relieve patients'burden,and provide technical support for future federated learning and linkage of the Internet of Medical Things(loMT).

Despite experiencing a decadal shift towards drought conditions at the end of the 2Oth century,semiarid grasslands in northeast Asia(NEA)exhibited an evident greening trend from 1982 to ***,the mechanism behind this phenomenon remains ***,we analysed the interdecadal changes in vegetation response to drought on the basis of the standardised precipitation evapotranspiration index(SPEI)and Global Inventory Modelling and Mapping Studies LAI4g datasets,with an emphasis on the differences between direct and legacy effects(as measured by resilience),to explore the mechanism of persistent grassland *** revealed that during the post-drought shift period(2000-2020),the sudden decrease in the water content of the intermediate soil layer triggered an intensified vegetation response to ***,although direct effects and resilience were amplified,they exhibited asymmetric *** was stronger than direct effects,and this difference increased with increasing drought(drought recovery)*** combined effects may account for persistent greening against intensified drying in the semiarid grasslands in *** the projected exacerbation of future droughts,this study holds notable importance for comprehending the long-term change dynamics of dryland ecosystems.
