Essential Oil from Inula britannica Extraction with SF-CO_2 and Its Antifungal Activity

The aim of this study was to determine the extraction technique of supercritical fluid carbon dioxide（SF-CO 2） for the essential oil from Inula britannica flowers and its antifungal activities against plant pathogenic fungi for its potential application as botanical *** effects of factors,including extraction temperature,extraction pressure,SF-CO 2 flow rate,flower powder size,and time on the essential oil yield were studied using the single factor *** orthogonal experiment was conducted to determine the best operating conditions for the maximum extraction oil *** the optimum conditions,the maximum yield reached 10.01% at 40°C temperature,30 MPa pressure,60 mesh flower powder size,20 L h-1SF-CO 2 flow rate,and 90 min extraction *** antifungal activities of *** essential oil using the SF-CO 2 against the most important plant pathogenic fungi were also examined through in vitro and in vivo *** plant pathogenic fungi were inhibited to varying degrees at 1 mg mL-1concentration of the essential *** mycelial growth of Gaeumannomyces graminis *** was completely *** radial growths of Phytophthora capsici and Fusarium monilifome were also inhibited by 83.76 and 64.69%,*** addition,the essential oil can inhibit the spore germination of Fusarium oxysporum ***,Phytophthora capsici,Colletotrichum orbiculare,and Pyricularia grisea,and the corresponding inhibition rates were 98.26,96.54,87.89,and 87.35% *** present study has demonstrated that the essential oil of *** flowers extracted through the SF-CO 2 technique is one potential and promising antifungal agent that can be used as botanical fungicide to protect crops.

Canonical Characteristic Relation for Two Dimensional Euler Equations

We propose a new way of rewriting the two dimensional Euler equations and derive an original canonical characteristic relation based on the characteristic theory of hyperbolic systems. This relation contains the derivatives strictly along the bicharacteristic directions, and can be viewed as the 2D extension of the characteristic relation in 1D case.

With the rapid development of OFDM （Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing） technology and its own advantages, this technology has been studied actively in underwater acoustic communication recently to improve the data transfer rate and reliability. For the reason of Doppler shift effect in underwater acoustic channel, eliminating Doppler effect became the key of whether the OFDM system can be successfully used in underwater acoustic com-munication. In this paper, a twice Doppler shift compensation algorithm was proposed, which has high compensation precision, low computational complexity and implementing easily.

Reconstructing shock front of unstable detonations based on multi-layer perceptron

The dynamics of frontal and transverse shocks in gaseous detonation waves is a complex phenomenon bringing many difficulties to both numerical and experimental *** laser-optical visualization of detonation structure may provide certain information of its reactive front,but the corresponding lead shock needs to be reconstructed building the complete flow *** the multi-layer perceptron(MLP)approach,we propose a shock front reconstruction method which can predict evolution of the lead shock wavefront from the state of the reactive *** method is verified through the numerical results of one-and two-dimensional unstable detonations based on the reactive Euler equations with a one-step irreversible chemical reaction *** show that the accuracy of the proposed method depends on the activation energy of the reactive mixture,which influences prominently the cellular detonation instability and hence,the distortion of the lead shock *** select the input variables for training and evaluate their influence on the effectiveness of the proposed method,five groups,one with six variables,and the other with four variables,are tested and analyzed in the MLP *** trained MLP is tested in the cases with different activation energies,demonstrates the inspiring generalization *** paper offers a universal framework for predicting detonation frontal evolution and provides a novel way to interpret numerical and experimental results of detonation waves.

Protective Effect of Human Umbilical Cord Mesenchymal Stem Cells in Glucocorticoid-induced Osteonecrosis of Femoral Head

Objective:To evaluate the effect of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells(hUC-MSCs)on preventing rats from glucocorticoid-induced osteonecrosis of femoral head(GC-ONFH)in the early stage in vivo and to investigate the possible mechanism of hUC-MSCs in regulating the balance of osteogenesis and ***:All rats were randomly divided into 3 groups:control group(C group),model group(M group),and intervention group(Ⅰ group).The model of GC-ONFH was developed by a sequential administration of lipopolysaccharide and *** rats in the Ⅰ group were treated with caudal vein injection of *** weeks later,the blood samples were obtained to measure the activity of alkaline phosphatase(ALP)and the content of triglyceride(TG)in serum,and the femoral heads were harvested and observed by hematoxylin-eosin staining,Micro-CT,Western blot and real-time quantitative polymerase chain ***:After intervention of hUC-MSCs,the necrosis rate of femoral head decreased from 83%(10/12)to 33%(4/12),the rate of empty bone lacuna was significantly decreased,the activity of ALP increased significantly,the content of TG decreased significantly,the bone density increased obviously,the expression of RUNX2 and Col Ⅰ increased significantly and the expression of PPARγ decreased ***:These results revealed that caudal vein injection of hUC-MSCs can effectively reduce the incidence of GC-ONFH in rats by increasing ALP activity and reducing TG content in serum,increasing bone mineral density,promoting the expression of RUNX2 and Col I,and inhibiting the expression of PPARγ.

Since solar energy is the ultimate energy resource and a significant amount of global energy utilization goes through heat, there have been persistent efforts for centuries to develop devices and systems for solar–thermal conversion. Most recently, interfacial solar vapor generation, as an emerging concept of solar–thermal conversion, has gained significant attention for its great potentials in various fields such as desalination, sterilization, catalysis, etc. With the advances of rationally designed materials and structures and photon and thermal management at the nanoscale, interfacial solar vapor generation has demonstrated both thermodynamic and kinetical advantages over conventional strategies. In this review, we aim to illustrate the definition, mechanism and figures of merit of interfacial solar vapor generation, and to summarize the development progress of relevant materials and applications, as well as to provide a prospective view of the future.

Isolated coagulopathy without classic CRAB symptoms as the initial manifestation of multiple myeloma: A case report

Smartphone based precise monitoring method for farm operation

Although Global Navigation Satellite System(GNSS)terminal has been widely used for fleet management,it cannot satisfy the need of managing changes of laborer and implement during farm operation,which are important for social service cooperatives comparing to family farms in *** objective of this study was to explore a precise,low cost and easy-to-use method for vehicle fleet management of large scale farm machinery cooperatives.A smartphone based application software(APP)named Precise Monitoring System(PMS)was developed to record the farm operation information including tractor,implement and laborer by scanning their Quick Response codes(QR codes),and obtain real time GNSS positions by using built-in GNSS chip of *** the convenience usage for farmers,only two buttons,“start/pause/continue”and“stop”were designed to record farm operation ***,IDs,positions and operation status were combined and transferred to the server through GPRS/3G/*** kinds of experiments were designed and conducted to verify the *** results showed that PMS can realize the basic functions such as precise and real-time monitoring,operation quality tracing,operation mileage and operation area calculating,and U-turn *** method and APP could record complex combination of production factors precisely and accurately,which is suitable for the management of vehicle fleet,and can replace GNSS terminal to some extent.
