Arthropod-borne chikungunya virus(CHIKV)infection can cause a debilitating arthritic disease in ***,there are no specific antiviral drugs and effective licensed vaccines against CHIKV available for clinical ***,we developed an m RNA-lipid nanoparticle(m RNA-LNP)vaccine expressing CHIKV E2-E1 antigen,and compared its immunogenicity with soluble recombinant protein s E2-E1 antigen expressed in S2 *** comparison,we first showed that recombinant protein antigens mixed with aluminum adjuvant elicit strong antigenspecific humoral immune response and a moderate cellular immune response in C57BL/6 ***,s E2-E1vaccine stimulated 12-23 folds more neutralizing antibodies than s E1 vaccine and s E2 ***,when E2-E1 gene was delivered by an m RNA-LNP vaccine,not only the better magnitude of neutralizing antibody responses was induced,but also greater cellular immune responses were generated,especially for CD8+T cell ***,E2-E1-LNP induced CD8~+T cells can perform cytotoxic effect in *** its better immunogenicity and convenience of preparation,we suggest that more attention should be placed to develop CHIKV E2-E1-LNP m RNA vaccine.

The present work is aimed at the study of number-size distribution of particles, volatile organic compounds （VOCs）, and carbonyl compounds （CC） or carbonyls emitted from a 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine equipped with a vanadium-based urea selective catalytic reduction catalyst. The engine was run on an electric dynamometer in accordance with the European steady-state cycle. Pollutants were analyzed using an electric low pressure impactor, a gas chromatograph/mass spectrometer, and a high performance liquid chromatography system for the number-size distribution of particles, VOCs, and CC emissions, respectively. Experimental results revealed that total number of particles were decreased, and their number-size distributions were moved from smaller sizes to larger sizes in the presence of the catalyst. The VOCs were greatly reduced downstream of the catalyst. There was a strong correlation between the conversion of styrene and ethyl benzene. The conversion rate of benzene increased with increase of catalyst temperature. Formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein and acetone were significantly reduced, resulting in a remarkable abatement in carbonyls with the use of the vanadium-based urea-SCR system.

Dengue virus(DENV)is a single-stranded RNA virus transmitted by mosquitoes in tropical and subtropical *** causes dengue fever,dengue hemorrhagic fever and dengue shock syndrome in *** year,390 million people are estimated to be infected by four serotypes of dengue virus,creating a great burden on global public health and local *** far,no antiviral drug is available for dengue disease,and the newly licensed vaccine is far from *** large obstacle for dengue vaccine and drug development is the lack of suitable small animal *** some DENV infection models have been developed,only a small number of viral strains can infect immunodeficient *** this study,with biologically cloned viruses from a single clinical isolate,we have established two mouse models of DENV infection,one is severe lethal infection in immunocompromised mice,and the other resembles self-limited disease manifestations in Balb/c mice with transient blockage of type I IFN *** study not only offers new small animal models of dengue viral infection,but also provides new viral variants for further investigations on dengue viral pathogenesis.

Gene RA28 is a retinoic acid induced novel gene isolated in our laboratory previously. All-trans retinoic acid (ATRA) was used to induce lung adenocarcinoma cell line GLC-82, and RA28 was obtained by subtractive hybridization. Green fluorescent protein (GFP) has emerged as a unique tool for examining introcellular phenomena in living cells. GFP possesses an intrinsic fluorescence at 488 nm that does not require other co-factors. In this report, an eukaryotic expression plasmid pEGFP-C1-RA28 was constructed and transfected with parental cell line GLC-82 to analyze protein expression and its distribution in living cells. Moreover, radiation hybrid (RH) technique was used to localize RA28 to the chromosome. The results show that gene RA28 is mapped to the chromosome 19q13.1 region, its encoded protein is distributed on cell membrane. All the results further demonstrate that GFP and RH techniques are accurate, fast, repetitive, and will be powerful methods for investigating the gene and protein

The aim of this paper was to investigate the prevalence of human papilloma virus(HPV)infection in women under 30 years old with cervical intraepithelial neoplasia(CIN)or cervical cancer,in order to provide a basis for cervical cancer prevention and *** recruited 2052 female cases from the education system in Futian District,Shenzhen city,from April 2006 to April 2008,with age ranging from 22 to 60 years ***-generation hybrid capture test was done for detection of female genital tract HPV and cervical colposcopy for screening CIN or cervical *** prevalence of HPV and cervical precancerous lesions or cervical cancer was evaluated in different age groups of *** HPV positive rate was 247/2052(12.00%),and 35/2052(1.71%)of the cases were≥CIN I by pathological *** the 22–29-year-old age group,there were 291 cases,including 39 HPV-positive cases(13.40%)and one case of pathological diagnosis≥CIN I(0.34%),and there were 1761 cases in the 30–60-year-old age group,including 208 HPV-positive cases(11.81%)and 34 cases of pathological diagnosis≥CIN I(1.93%).The HPV-positive rate of 22–29-year-old age group was higher than that of 30–60-year-old age group,but the difference was not signiﬁcant(χ2=0.5967,P=0.4398);the CIN and cervical cancer detection rate of the former group was lower than that of the latter one,and the difference was not signiﬁcant either(χ2=3.7519,P=0.0527).The cases in 30–60-year-old age group were divided intoﬁve age sub-groups,and the HPV-positive rate of the 22–29-year-old age group was compared with the remaining groups,and it was found that the HPV-positive rate of the former group(13.40%)was lower than that of the 40–44-year-old age group(14.70%)but higher than that of the other four ***,the difference in the HPV-positive rate between the 22–29-year age group and the 50–60-year-old age group(6.06%)was signiﬁcant(χ2=5.545,P=0.018),but the difference between the 22–29-year-old age group and each of the other f

The commercial application results showed that the polymetallic reforming catalysts PRT exhibited high activity, good selectivity and stability. The performance of said catalysts could be restored completely through regeneration. After long period of operation, the activity of said catalysts still exhibited good sensitivity to temperature rise. Compared with the PR series catalysts, the PRT series catalysts had obviously better stability and lower coking rate.

Two after treatment units, selective catalytic reduction （SCR） and continuously regenerating trap （CRT）, were independently retrofitted to a diesel engine, with the objective to investigate their impact on the conversion/reduction （CR） of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons （PAHs）. The experiments were conducted under the European steady state cycle （ESC） first without any retrofits to get baseline emissions, and then with SCR and CRT respectively, on the same engine. The particulate matter （PM）-phase PAHs were trapped in fiberglass filters, whereas gas-phase PAHs were collected in cartridges, and then analyzed using a gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer （GC-MS）. Both PM-phase and gas-phase PAHs were greatly reduced with CRT showing respective CR of 90.7% and above 80%, whereas only gas-phase PAHs were abated in the case of SCR, with CR of above 75%. Lower molecular weight （LMW） PAHs were in abundance, while naphthalene exhibited a maximum relative contribution （RC） to LMW-PAHs for all three cases. Further, the CR of naphthalene and anthracene were increased with increasing catalyst temperature of SCR, most likely due to their conversion to solid particles. Moreover, the Benzo[a]Pyrene equivalent （BaPeq） of PAHs was greatly reduced with CRT, owing to substantial reduction of total PAHs.

A transcriptomic database was constructed to study the biocontrol mechanisms of Trichoderma harzianum ACCC30371 using high quality UniGenes following growth in eight culture media[(1/2PD,minimal medium MM(containing dextrose 10 g L^-1),C starvation medium(derived from MM without dextrose),N starvation medium(derived from MM without ammonium sulphate),and four kinds of phytopathogenic fungi cell wall media].A 4 Gbp transcriptome was generated and 96.7%of the database had a sequencing error rate less than 1%.A total of 25,013 UniGene sequences were obtained with a mean length of 1135 *** were 2571 sequences longer than 3000 *** National Center for Biotechnology Information Accession number of this transcriptome is *** were 16,360 Unigenes annotated to the Nr protein database,9875 to the SwissProt database,10,266 to the KEGG database,7164 to the COG database,and 1508 to the GO database along with their protein functional *** were 16,723 functional genes *** identified 402 bio-control genes,including 14 related to competition,311 to mycoparasitism,76 to antibiosis,and one related to eliciting a plant *** shows that *** ACCC30371 has integrated biocontrol mechanisms,and of these mechanisms,mycoparasitism is the most *** and induced systemic resistance also play important *** results provide a foundation for further research into the biocontrol mechanisms of Trichoderma,as well as the development and utilization of biological fungicides.
