Sufficient soil phosphorus （P） content is essential for achieving optimal crop yields, but accumulation of P in the soil due to excessive P applications can cause a risk of P loss and contribute to eutrophication of surface waters. Determination of a critical soil P value is fundamental for making appropriate P fertilization recommendations to ensure safety of both environment and crop production. In this study, agronomic and environmental critical P levels were determined by using linear-linear and linear-plateau models, and two segment linear model, for a maize （Zea mays L.）-winter wheat （Triticum aestivum L.） rotation system based on a 22-yr field experiment on a Haplic Luvisol soil in northern China. This study included six treatments： control （unfertilized）, no P （NoP）, application of mineral P fertilizer （MinP）, MinP plus return of maize straw （MinP＋StrP）, MinP plus low rate of farmyard swine manure （MinP＋***） and MinP plus high rate of manure （MinP＋ ***）. Based on the two models, the mean agronomic critical levels of soil Olsen-P for optimal maize and wheat yields were 12.3 and 12.8 mg kg-1, respectively. The environmental critical P value as an indicator for P leaching was 30.6 mg Olsen-P kg-1, which was 2.4 times higher than the agronomic critical P value （on average 12.5 mg P kg-1）. It was calculated that soil OIsen-P content would reach the environmental critical P value in 41 years in the MinP treatment, but in only 5-6 years in the two manure treatments. Application of manure could significantly raise soil Olsen-P content and cause an obvious risk of P leaching. In conclusion, the threshold range of soil Olsen-P is from 12.5 to 30.6 mg P kg-1 to optimize crop yields and meanwhile maintain relatively low risk of P leaching in Haplic Luvisol soil, northern China.

根据现场采集的1 309个表层沉积物样品,分析了珠江河口及邻近海域的表层沉积物特征。在此基础上,应用Gao-Collins的粒径趋势分析模型(GSTA模型),计算了珠江河口及邻近海域表层沉积物的净输运趋势,并结合有关动力沉积背景讨论了其实际意义。结果表明:珠江口及邻近海域表层沉积物类型共有8种,其中以粘土质粉砂和粉砂分布最广泛。受径流、潮流、沿岸流、波浪和陆架环流等动力作用,表层沉积物颗粒呈现出研究区西南部及北部口门附近的泥沙较粗,中部和东部的泥沙较细。东部(即大鹏湾及大亚湾以南的陆架区域)和西南部的分选略好于珠江河口及近岸10 m以浅区域,珠江河口及近岸10 m以浅区域的分选又略好于研究区的中南部区域(万山群岛的东南面及担秆列岛以南的区域),但泥沙总体分选差。不同级配的泥沙分布和沉积特征不一致。珠江河口及邻近海域泥沙运移规律较复杂,珠江河口及近岸区域(10 m以浅)泥沙主要向南和西南运移;外海陆架区泥沙主要向东运移;大亚湾和红海湾以南至60 m以浅区域的泥沙呈现向南运移的趋势。黄茅海北面的泥沙向西南运移;大襟岛和荷包岛以南及两岛之间是高盐陆架水入侵通道,泥沙整体向北运移;黄茅海中部泥沙以垂直落淤为主,水平运移趋势不显著,只略微向西输运,故黄茅海河口湾中西部床面有淤浅的趋势。在(113.52E,21.76N)点附近存在一个巨大的泥沙辐聚中心,其东北、西北和南面泥沙均向该点运移辐聚;在万山岛至桂山岛周边区域泥沙呈现出逆时针方向的环流运移。

Culture is an important component in translation. This paper reviews cultural translation researches and practices, proposes a cultural model for Chinese-to-English translation composed of inputs, filters and outputs which could be realized by a number of methods and techniques in the translating process, and finally applies the model to Chinese-to-English translation of Guizhou＇s local culture. It is argued that the cultural model is expected to draw international target text readers close to Chinese culture.

AIM:To explore the diagnostic value of the crossmodality fusion images provided by positron emission tomography/computed tomography(PET/CT) and contrast-enhanced CT(CECT) for pancreatic cancer(PC).METHODS:Data from 70 patients with pancreatic lesions who underwent CECT and PET/CT examinations at our hospital from August 2010 to October 2012were ***/CECT for the cross-modality image fusion was obtained using Ture D *** diagnostic efficiencies of PET/CT,CECT and PET/CECT were calculated and compared with each other using aχ2 test.P0.05for each).In 17 of the 50 patients with PC confirmed by histology or clinical follow-up,distant metastasis was *** differences in the sensitivity and NPV between CECT and PET/CECT in detecting distant metastasis were statistically significant(P<0.05 for each).CONCLUSION:Cross-modality image fusion of PET/CT and CECT is a convenient and effective method that can be used to diagnose and stage PC,compensating for the defects of PET/CT and CECT when they are conducted individually.

We investigated the moisture origin and contribution of different water sources to surface runoff entering the headwaters of the Heihe River basin on the basis of NECP/NCAR(National Centers for Environmental Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric Research) re-analysis data and variations in the stable hydrogen and oxygen isotope ratios(δ D and δ 18O) of precipitation,spring,river,and melt water. The similar seasonality in precipitation δ 18O at different sites reveals the same moisture origin for water entering the headwaters of the Heihe River basin. The similarity in the seasonality of δ 18O and d-excess for precipitation at Yeniugou and Urumchi,which showed more positive δ 18O and lower d-excess values in summer and more negative δ 18O and higher d-excess values in winter,indicates a dominant effect of westerly air masses in summer and the integrated influence of westerly and polar air masses in winter. Higher d-excess values throughout the year for Yeniugou suggest that in arid inland areas of northwestern China,water is intensively recycled. Temporal changes in δ 18O,δ D,and d-excess reveal distinct contributions of different bodies of water to surface runoff. For example,there were similar trends for δ D,δ 18O,and d-excess of precipitation and river water from June to September,similar δ 18O trends for river and spring water from December to February,and similar trends for precipitation and runoff volumes. However,there were significant differences in δ 18O between melt water and river water in September. Our results show that the recharge of surface runoff by precipitation occurred mainly from June to mid-September,whereas the supply of surface runoff in winter was from base flow(as spring water) ,mostly with a lower runoff amount.

Activation of inflammatory cells and upregulations of a number of cytokines in the central nervous system(CNS)of patients with prion diseases are frequently *** evaluate the potential changes of some brain cytokines that were rarely addressed during prion infection,the levels of 17 different cytokines in the brain homogenates of mice infected with different scrapie mouse-adapted agents were firstly screened with Luminex *** upregulations of interferon gamma-induced protein 10(IP10),keratinocyte chemoattractant(KC)and macrophage colony stimulating factor(M-CSF)were frequently detected in the brain lysates of many strains of scrapie infected *** upregulations of those three cytokines in the brains of scrapie infected mice were further validated by the individual specific ELISA and immunohistochemical *** specific mRNAs of IP10,M-CSF and KC in the brains of scrapie infected mice were also detected by the individual specific qRT-PCRs and IP10-specific digital *** analyses of the brain samples collected at different time points post infection revealed the time-dependent increases of those three cytokines,particularly IP10 during the incubation period of scrapie *** addition,we also found that the levels of IP10 in cerebral spinalfluid(CSF)of 45 sporadic Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease(sCJD)patients were slightly but significantly higher than those of the cases who were excluded the diagnosis of prion *** data give us a better understanding of inflammatory reaction during prion infection and progression of prion disease.
