Marine invertebrates serve as rich sources of secondary metabolites with intriguing chemical diversities and a wide spectrum of biological ***,marine shell-less sacoglossan mollusks have attracted much attentions due to the fact that mollusks apply complex metabolites as chemical defense agents against to their *** the purpose of discovering bioactive secondary metabolites to develop marine-derived medicines from the South China Sea,we have conducted a chemical study on the photosynthetic mollusk Placobranchus *** a result,seven newγ-pyrone polypropionates,namely(±)-ocellatuspyrone A(1),(±)-ocellatuspyrone B(2),and ocellatuspyrones C−G(5,9−12),along with fve known polypropionates,have been isolated and characterized from the South China Sea photosynthetic mollusk Placobranchus *** spectroscopic analysis,single crystal X-ray difraction analysis,modifed Mosher’s method,ECD comparison,CD exciton chirality method,TDDFT-ECD calculation,and chemical conversion were used to determine the structures and absolute confgurations of the new compounds and the stereochemistry of undefned known compounds 4,6 and *** these isolated polypropionates were evaluated in bioassays for their biological activities,including antibacterial,neuroprotective efect,anti-infammatory,PTP1B inhibitory,and antiviral *** 7,8 and 11 were found for the frst time to show antibacterial activity against fsh pathogenic bacteria Streptococcus parauberis(the main pathogen causing fsh streptococcal infections and acute death)with MIC values of 35.8,34.2,and 37.4μg/mL,respectively,which might be potential novel antibacterial agents for the treatment of fsh infectious diseases.

Concentration difference of auxin involved in stem development in soybean

Auxin regulates cell division and elongation of the primordial cells through its concentration and then shaped the plant architecture. Cell division and elongation form the internode of soybean and result in different plant heights and lodging resistance. Yet the mechanisms behind are unclear in soybean. To elucidate the mechanism of the concentration difference of auxin related to stem development in soybean, samples of apical shoot, elongation zone, and mature zone from the developing stems of soybean seedlings, Charleston, were harvested and measured for auxin concentration distributions and metabolites to identify the common underlying mechanisms responsible for concentration difference of auxin. Distribution of indole-3-acetic acid(IAA), indole-3-butyric acid(IBA), and methylindole-3-acetic acid(Me-IAA) were determined and auxin concentration distributions were found to have a complex regulation mechanism. The concentrations of IAA and Me-IAA in apical shoot were significantly different between elongation zone and mature zone resulting in an IAA gradient. Tryptophan dependent pathway from tryptamine directly to IAA or through indole-3-acetonitrile to IAA and from indole-3-propionic acid(IPA) to IAA were three primary IAA synthesis pathways. Moreover, some plant metabolites from flavonoid and phenylpropanoid synthesis pathways showed similar or reverse gradient and should involve in auxin homeostasis and concentration difference. All the data give the first insight in the concentration difference and homeostasis of auxin in soybean seedlings and facilitate a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanism of stem development and growth. The gathered information also helps to elucidate how plant height is formed in soybean and what strategy should be adopted to regulate the lodging resistance in soybean.

The crystal structures of three intramolecularly hydrogen bonded rigid aromatic amide derivatives,which all bear one iodine atom at one end as the donor and one pyridine unit at the other end as the acceptor,have been described to reveal the utility of halogen bonding in inducing the formation of supramolecular *** the three compounds formed intermolecular I···N halogen *** short compound 1,halogen bonding induced the formation of an extended supramolecular *** longer folded compounds 2 and 3,halogen bonding could hold two molecules to form supramolecular macrocycles even by adopting a highly distorted,energetically less favorable conformation(for 3).Depending on the solvent for the growth of crystals,compound 3 could also gave rise to a halogen bonded supramolecular double helix.

The state-of-charge(SOC)and state-of-health(SOH)of lithium-ion batteries affect their operating performance and *** coupled SOC and SOH are difficult to estimate adaptively in multi-temperatures and *** paper proposes a novel transformer-embedded lithium-ion battery model for joint estimation of state-ofcharge and *** battery model is formulated across temperatures and aging,which provides accurate feedback for unscented Kalman filter-based SOC estimation and aging *** open-circuit voltages(OCVs)are corrected globally by the temporal convolutional network with accurate OCVs in time-sliding *** equation is combined with estimated SOH for temperature-aging migration.A novel transformer model is introduced,which integrates multiscale attention with the transformer's encoder to incorporate SOC-voltage differential derived from battery *** model simultaneously extracts local aging information from various sequences and aging channels using a self-attention and depth-separate *** leveraging multi-head attention,the model establishes information dependency relationships across different aging levels,enabling rapid and precise SOH ***,the root mean square error for SOC and SOH under conditions of 15℃dynamic stress test and 25℃constant current cycling was less than 0.9%and 0.8%,***,the proposed method exhibits excellent adaptability to varying temperature and aging conditions,accurately estimating SOC and SOH.

Chiral polymer was synthesized by the polymerization of （R）-6,6＇-bistributylstannyl-2,2＇-binaphtho-20-crown-6 （M-1） with 1,4-dibromo-2,3-bisbutoxy-naphthyl （M-2） by Pd（PPhs）4 catalyzed Stille coupling reaction. Both monomer and polymer were analyzed by NMR, MS, FT-IR, UV, polarimetry, DSC-TGA, CD, fluorescent spectroscopy and GPC. The major difference between monomer and polymer is that a long wavelength Cotton Effect was observed for the polymer due to its more extended conjugation in the repeating unit and a highly rigid backbone in the polymer chain. Polymer has strong blue fluorescence due to the efficient energy migration from the extended n-electronic structure of the repeating unit of the polymer to the chiral binaphthyl core and is expected to have potential application in the materials of fluorescent sensors and chiral chromatographic packing for resolution ofracemic amino acid.

Poliumoside is representative of phenylethanoid glycosides, which are widely found in many plants. Poliumoside is also regarded as the main active component of Callicarpa kwangtungensis Chun(CK), though its oral bioavailability in rat is extremely low(0.69%) and its in vivo and in vitro metabolism has not yet been systematically investigated. In the present study, an ultra performance liquid chromatography/quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC/Q-TOF-MS) method was employed to identify the metabolites and investigate the metabolic pathways of poliumoside in rat after oral administration 1.5 g·kg–1 of poliumoside. As a result, a total of 34 metabolites(30 from urine, 17 from plasma, and 4 from bile) and 9 possible metabolic pathways(rearrangment, reduction, hydration, hydrolyzation, dehydration, methylation, hydroxylation, acetylation, and sulfation) were proposed in vivo. The main metabolite, acteoside, was quantified after incubated with rat intestinal bacteria in vitro. In conclusion, the present study systematically explored the metabolites of poliumoside in vivo and in vitro, proposing metabolic pathways that may be significant for further metabolic studies of poliumoside.
