Conductive polymer foam(CPF)with excellent compressibility and variable resistance has promising applications in electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding and other integrated functions for wearable ***,its insufficient change amplitude of resistance with compressive strain generally leads to a degradation of shielding performance during ***,an innovative loading strategy of conductive materials on polymer foam is proposed to significantly increase the contact probability and contact area of conductive components under *** inter-skeleton conductive films are constructed by loading alginate-decorated magnetic liquid metal on the polymethacrylate films hanged between the foam skeleton(denoted as AMLM-PM foam).Traditional point contact between conductive skeletons under compression is upgraded to planar contact between conductive ***,the resistance change of AMLM-PM reaches four orders of magnitude under ***,the inter-skeleton conductive films can improve the mechanical strength of foam,prevent the leakage of liquid metal and increase the scattering area of EM ***-PM foam has strain-adaptive EMI shielding performance and shows compression-enhanced shielding effectiveness,solving the problem of traditional CPFs upon *** upgrade of resistance response also enables foam to achieve sensitive pressure sensing over a wide pressure range and compression-regulated Joule heating function.

Synthesis and Characterization of a Novel Bamboo Shaving Geopolymer Composite

Geopolymers are inorganic aluminosilicate materials,which have been a great research interest as a material for sustainable ***,they possess relatively low toughness properties similar to brittle *** limitation may be altered by fiber reinforcement to improve their strength and *** research describes the synthesis of bamboo shaving(BS)reinforced geopolymer composites and the characterization of their mechanical *** effect of BS content(0–2 wt.%)on the physical and mechanical properties and microstructure of metakaolin based geopolymer paste were *** workability,setting time,bulk density,apparent porosity,thermal conductivity,compressive strength,flexural strength,scanning electron microscopy(SEM),and X-ray diffraction(XRD)of geopolymer paste were *** results showed that the workability,setting time,density,and thermal conductivity decreased with the increasing of BS *** BS content was proportional to the apparent porosity and a good linear relation was found between apparent porosity and BS *** highest mechanical properties were achieved at an optimum BS content of 1.0 wt.%.The results of microstructural analysis revealed that BS act as inforcing phase in matrix,reducing cracks and making a dense geopolymer,which leads to favorable adhesion of the composites and produces a geopolymer composite with better mechanical properties than that of pure ***,when the BS content exceeded 1.0 wt.%,interfacial bonding between BS and geopolymer matrix became *** analysis showed that BS has little effect on the mineral composition of metakaolin-based geopolymer and no new phase is formed.

Structure and Electrochemical Hydrogen Storage Properties of as-Milled Mg-Ce-Ni-Al-Based Alloys

At room temperature,crystalline Mg-based alloys,including Mg2 Ni,MgNi,REMg12 and La2 Mg17,have been proved with weak electrochemical hydrogen storage *** improving their electrochemical property,the Mg is partially substituted by Ce in Mg-Ni-based alloys and the surface modification treatment is performed by mechanical coating *** milling is utilized to synthesize the amorphous and nanocrystalline Mg1-xCexNi0.9Al0.1(x=0,0.02,0.04,0.06,0.08)+50 wt%Ni hydrogen storage *** effects made by Ce substitution and mechanical milling on the electrochemical hydrogen storage property and structure have been *** shows that the as-milled alloys electrochemically absorb and desorb hydrogen well at room *** as-milled alloys,without any activation,can reach their maximal discharge capacities during first *** maximal value of the 30-h-milled alloy depending on Ce content is 578.4 mAh/g,while that of the x=0.08 alloy always grows when prolonging milling *** maximal discharge capacity augments from337.4 to 521.2 mAh/g when milling duration grows from 5 to 30 *** cycle stability grows with increasing Ce content and milling ***,the S100 value augments from 55 to 82%for the alloy milled for 30 h with Ce content rising from 0 to 0.08 and from 66 to 82%when milling the x=0.08 alloy mechanically from 5 to 30 *** alloys’electrochemical dynamics parameters were measured as well which have maximum values depending on Ce content and keep growing up with milling duration extending.

Human factor errors in probabilistic safety assessment(PSA) of a nuclear power plant(NPP) can be prevented using thermal comfort *** this paper,the THERP+HCR model is modified by using PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD(Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied) index system,so as to obtain the operator cognitive reliability,and to reflect and analyze human perception,thermal comfort status,and cognitive ability in a specific NPP *** mechanism of human factors in the PSA is analyzed by operators of skill,rule and knowledge *** THERP+HCR model modified by thermal comfort theory can reflect the conditions in actual environment,and optimize reliability analysis of human *** human thermal comfort for different types of operators reduces adverse factors due to human errors,and provides a safe and optimum decision-making for NPPs.

Synergy between metallic components of MoNi alloy for catalyzing highly efficient hydrogen storage of MgH2

Catalysts play a critical role in improving the hydrogen storage kinetics in Mg/MgH2 *** highly efficient catalysts and catalyst design principles are hot topics but *** catalytic activity of metallic elements on dehydrogenation kinetics generally follows a sequence of Ti>Nb>Ni>V>Co>***,we report a highly efficient alloy catalyst composed of low-active elements of Mo and Ni(*** alloy)for MgH2 *** alloy nanoparticles show excellent catalytic effect,even outperforming most advanced Ti-based *** synergy between Mo and Ni elements can promote the break of Mg-H bonds and the dissociation of hydrogen molecules,thus significantly improves the kinetics of Mg/MgH2 *** MoNi-catalyzed Mg/MgH2 system can absorb and release 6.7 wt.%hydrogen within 60 s and 10 min at 300℃,respectively,and exhibits excellent cycling stability and low-temperature hydrogen storage *** study provides a strategy for designing efficient catalysts for hydrogen storage materials using the synergy of metal elements.

The major,trace,and rare earth elements of the Duanjiapo(DJP)section in the south of the Loess Plateau,the Jiaxian(JX)section in the north,and the Jiuzhoutai(JZT)section in the west are *** results show that the main elemental characteristics of loess in three profiles are consistent with the upper continental crust(UCC).In terms of trace elements,Th,Nb,Zr,Hf,Y,Cs,W,Cr,V,li,and Pb show relative enrichment compared with UCC;Rb,Ba,Sr and Be exhibit relative *** average ofΣREE is 171.91ppm with a negative anomaly forδEu and essentially no anomaly forδ*** results of K_(2)O/Na_(2)O,Rb/Sr ratios,as well as the leaching co-efficient from three profiles,indicate DJP>JX>JZT,suggesting that DJP experiences the strongest weathering leaching *** chemical index of alteration(CIA)reveals that all three profiles of loess are in the primary stage of Ca and Na *** is generally in the early to moderate stage of chemical weathering,while JX and JZT are both in the early stage.

Discharge and jet characteristics of gliding arc plasma igniter driven by pressure difference

Stable combustion in an afterburner can help increase the thrust of the engine in a short time,thereby improving the maneuverability of a *** improve the ignition performance of an afterburner,a twin-duct ignition platform was designed to study the performance of a gliding arc plasma igniter in close-to-real afterburner *** research was carried out by a combination of experiments and *** working environment of the igniter was explored through a numerical *** results showed that the airflow ejected from the radiating holes formed a swirling sheath,which increased the anti-interference ability of the airflow *** influence of the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the igniter(Δp),the flow rate outside the igniter outlet(W_(2)),and the installation angle(α)on the singlecycle discharge energy(E)as well as the maximum arc length(L)were studied through *** stages were identified:the airflow breakdown stage,the arc evolution stage,and the arc fracture stage.E and L increased by 107.3%and 366.2%,respectively,withΔp increasing from 10 to 70 *** relationship between L andΔp obtained by data fitting is L=3-2.47/(1+(Δp/25)^(4)).The relationship of L at differentαis L_(α=0°)>(L_(α=45°)and L_(α=135°))>L_(α=180°)>L_(α=90°).E and L decrease by 18.2%and 37.3%,respectively,whenΔp=45 Torr and W_(2) is increased from 0 to 250 l min^(-1).

Speech enhancement based on multitaper spectrum and psychoacoustical weighting rule

Multitaper spectrum has lower variance than the traditional periodogram. The noise spectrum and the noise to noisy signal spectrum ratio （NNSR） were estimated from the multitaper spectrum of the noisy signal; the pre-enhanced speech for calculating the noise masking threshold was obtained by the spectral amplitude subtraction method, whose gain is a function of NNSR; the final enhanced speech was obtained by suppressing the Fourier spectrum of the noisy speech with the psychoacoustical weighting rule incorporating the noise masking threshold. Because of the low variance feature of the multitaper spectrum, a modified offset formula was proposed to calculate the noise masking threshold, thus the reconstructed speech with this modification has an improvement in MBSD （Modified Bark Spectral Distortion）. When a maximum limitation less than one to the psychoacoustical weighting rule is further proposed, the higher the input SNR （〉 0 dB） is, the more improvement the segmental SNR and the overall SNR have. The informal listening tests show that there is little speech distortion for the enhanced speech processed by the proposed method, the background noise is reduced much and free of musical noise.

Multi-source and multi-temporal remote sensing image classification for flood disaster monitoring

Flood disasters can have a serious impact on people's production and lives, and can cause huge ***-sourceremotesensingdata,thisstudyestablished decision tree classification rules through multi-source and multi-temporal feature fusion, classified ground objects before the disaster and extracted flood information in the disaster area based on optical images during the disaster, so as to achieve rapid acquisition of the disaster situation of each disaster bearing *** the case of Qianliang Lake, which suffered from flooding in 2020, the results show that decision tree classification algorithms based on multi-temporal features can effectively integrate multi-temporal and multispectral information to overcome the shortcomings of single-temporal image classification and achieve ground-truth object classification.

Adjuvant interferon-α(IFN-α) therapy is used to control certain types of cancer in *** hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC),IFN-α therapy is effective in only a subgroup of HCC patients,therefore identifying biomarkers to predict the response to IFN-α therapy is of high significance and clinical *** the induced IFN-stimulated genes(ISGs) expression following IFN-α treatment plays pivotal roles in IFN-α effects,we screened ISGs expression in HCC tissues and found several ISGs were significantly decreased in ***,expressions of IFN-induced proteins with tetratricopeptide repeats(IFIT) family members,including IFIT1,IFIT2,IFIT3,and IFIT5,were all decreased in HCC *** further analyzed the expressions of IFIT family members in HCC and their roles in patients’ responses to IFN-αtherapy in two independent randomized controlled IFN-α therapy clinical trials of HCC patients,and found that higher expression of IFIT3,but not other IFITs,in HCC tissues predicts better response to IFN-α therapy,suggesting that IFIT3 may be a useful predictor of the response to IFN-α therapy in HCC ***,IFIT3 enhanced the antitumor effects of IFN-α by promoting IFN-α effector responses both in vitro and in ***3 could bind signal transducer and activator of transcription 1(STAT1) and STAT2 to enhance STAT1/STAT2 hetero-dimerization and nuclear translocation upon IFN-α treatment,thus promoting IFN-α effector ***:Higher IFIT3 expression in HCC tissues predicts better response to IFN-α therapy in HCC ***3 promotes IFN-α effector responses and therapeutic effects by strengthening IFN-α effector signaling in HCC.
