A robust tensor watermarking algorithm for diffusion-tensor images

Watermarking algorithms that use convolution neural networks have exhibited good robustness in studies of deep learning ***,after embedding watermark signals by convolution,the feature fusion eficiency of convolution is relatively low;this can easily lead to distortion in the embedded *** distortion occurs in medical images,especially in diffusion tensor images(DTIs),the clinical value of the DTI is *** address this issue,a robust watermarking algorithm for DTIs implemented by fusing convolution with a Transformer is proposed to ensure the robustness of the watermark and the consistency of sampling distance,which enhances the quality of the reconstructed image of the watermarked DTIs after embedding the watermark *** the watermark-embedding network,Ti-weighted(Tlw)images are used as prior *** correlation between T1w images and the original DTI is proposed to calculate the most significant features from the T1w images by using the Transformer *** maximum of the correlation is used as the most significant feature weight to improve the quality of the reconstructed *** the watermark extraction network,the most significant watermark features from the watermarked DTI are adequately learned by the Transformer to robustly extract the watermark signals from the watermark *** results show that the average peak signal-to-noise ratio of the watermarked DTI reaches 50.47 dB,the diffusion characteristics such as mean diffusivity and fractional anisotropy remain unchanged,and the main axis deflection angleαAc is close to *** proposed algorithm can effectively protect the copyright of the DTI and barely affects the clinical diagnosis.

Mars exploration——In situ K-Ar dating of jarosite

To accurately determine the chronological framework of climatic variations recorded by various Martian terrains, the absolute ages of Martian events and cratering rate need to be constrained by either in situ dating or returned samples. In situ K-Ar dating is currently a more plausible dating technique as compared with sample return. Jarosite(KFe_(3)[SO_(4)]_(2)[OH]_(6)) is the only confirmed K sulfate mineral that is widely present on Mars, as indicated by in situ detection, orbital remote sensing, and meteorite studies. Jarosite can be used for precise K-Ar and (40)Ar/(39)Ar dating. The preservation of jarosite on Mars provides information about the nature and duration of aqueous processes on the Martian surface. Different ages of Martian jarosite represent the key to constraining the transition from Martian surface water activity to arid climatic conditions. This paper summarizes recent advances in our knowledge of the spatial distribution of Martian jarosite, its mineralogical properties and stability on Mars, the Ar diffusion kinetics of jarosite, and the current status of in situ K-Ar dating. Moreover, we examine the key scientific issues to be addressed for in situ K-Ar dating of jarosite and Martian sample return missions, and discuss future research directions.

Mechanism of acupuncture in attenuating cerebral ischaemia-reperfusion injury based on nuclear receptor coactivator 4 mediated ferritinophagy

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of acupuncture treatment on cerebral ischaemia-reperfusion injury(CIRI)and reveal the underlying mechanism of the effect based on nuclear receptor coactivator 4(NCOA4)mediated ***:Sprague-Dawley male rats were divided into four groups:the sham group,model group,acupuncture group,and sham acupuncture *** 2 h of middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO),reperfusion was performed for 24 h to induce *** rats were treated with acupuncture at the Neiguan(PC6)and Shuigou(GV26)*** neurological function was evaluated by taking their Bederson scores at 2 h after ischaemia and 24 h after *** chloride staining was applied to assess the cerebral infarct volume at 24 h after *** malondialdehyde(MDA)and ferrous iron(Fe^(2+))levels were observed after 24 h of reperfusion using an assay *** blotting was performed to detect the expression of NCOA4 and ferritin heavy chain 1(FTH1)at 24 h after ***,the colocalization of ferritin with neurons,NCOA4 with microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3(LC3),and NCOA4 with ferritin was visualized using immunofluorescence ***:Acupuncture significantly improved neurological function and decreased cerebral infarct volume in the acupuncture *** CIRI,the expression of NCOA4,LC3 and FTH1 was increased,which enhanced ferritinophagy and induced an inappropriate accumulation of Fe^(2+)and MDA in the ischaemic ***,acupuncture dramatically downregulated the expression of NCOA4,LC3 and FTH1,inhibited the overactivation of ferritinophagy,and decreased the levels of MDA and Fe^(2+).CONCLUSIONS:Acupuncture can inhibit NCOA4-mediated ferritinophagy and protect neurons against CIRI in a rat model.

In this research,a novel method for regulating components in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates was developed,combining the benefits of a suitable thermal expansion coefficient(CTE)and outstanding corrosion resistance against calcium–magnesium–alumino–silicate(CMAS).This approach enhanced the overall thermophysical ***,the results from the CMAS corrosion resistance test indicated that(Lu_(1/3)yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/3)yb_(1/3)Tm_(1/3))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)and(Lu_(1/4)yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)SiO_(5)/(Lu_(1/4)yb_(1/4)Tm_(1/4)Er_(1/4))_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)exhibited exceptional resistance to CMAS penetration,even at temperatures up to 1500℃.To comprehend the corrosion mechanism of CMAS on these silicates,we introduced a reaction–diffusion model,which involved observing the changes in the interface between the corrosion product layer and the silicate *** was achieved using electron backscatter diffraction(EBSD).These findings lay a theoretical basis for selecting rare earth elements in RE_(2)SiO_(5)/RE_(2)Si_(2)O_(7)multiphase silicates based on the radii of different rare earth cations.

Melting geodynamics reveals a subduction origin for the Purang ophiolite,Tibet,China

The debate regarding whether the Yarlung-Zangbo ophiolite(YZO)on the south of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,formed in a mid-ocean ridge(MOR)or a supra-subduction zone(SSZ)setting has remained *** we present petrological,mineralogical,and geochemical data associated with modeling melting geodynamics of the mantle peridotites from the Purang ophiolite in the western segment of the Yarlung-Zangbo Suture Zone(YZSZ)to explore its tectonic *** Purang lherzolites are characterized by the protogranular texture and have abyssal-peridotite-like mineral compositions,including low Cr^(#)(20-30)and TiO_(2) contents(yb)N<2].Importantly,the more depleted samples tend to have higher clinopyroxene Sr and LREE *** observations indicate an open-system hydrous melting with a continuous influx of slab fluid at a subduction *** modeled results show that these harzburgites could be formed by 19%-23%hydrous melting with the supply rate of slab fluid at 0.1%-1%.The lower clinopyroxene V/Sc ratios in harzburgites than those in lherzolites suggest a high oxidation stage of the melting system of harzburgites,which is consistent with a hydrous melting environment for these *** is therefore concluded that the Purang ophiolite has experienced a transformat

Coral fluorescence phenotypes have been suggested as an adaptation to a broad range of environmental conditions,yet the mechanisms linking thermal bleaching tolerance in reef-building coral populations,associated with fluorescence phenotypes due to GFP-like proteins,remains *** this study,the relationship between the thermal sensitivity and phenotypic plasticity of corals was investigated using two phenotypes of Galaxea fascicularis,green and *** results reveal that brown *** was more susceptible to bleaching than green *** when exposed to a higher growth temperature of 32℃.Both phenotypes of *** were associated with the thermotolerant Symbiodiniaceae symbiont,Durusdinium ***,the brown *** showed a significant decrease in Symbiodiniaceae cell density and a significant increase in pathogenic bacteria abundance when the growth temperature was raised from 29 to 32℃.The physiological traits and transcriptomic profiles of Symbiodiniaceae were not notably affected,but there were differences in the transcriptional levels of certain genes between the two phenotype hosts of *** heat stress of 32℃,the gene encoding green fluorescent protein(GFP)-like and chromosome-associated proteins,as well as genes related to oxidative phosphorylation,cell growth and death showed lower transcriptional levels in the brown *** compared to the green ***,the results demonstrate that the green form of *** is better able to tolerate ocean warming and defend against pathogenic bacteria,likely due to higher gene transcription levels and defense ability.

980 nm Near-Infrared Light-Emitting Diode Using All-Inorganic Perovskite Nanocrystals Doped with Ytterbium Ions

All-inorganic perovskite(CsPbX3)nanocrystals(NCs)have recently been widely investigated as versatile solution-processable light-emitting *** to its wide-bandgap nature,the all-inorganic perovskite NC Light-Emitting Diode(LED)is limited to the visible region(400-700 nm).A particularly difficult challenge lies in the practical application of perovskite NCs in the infrared-spectrum *** this work,a 980 nm NIR all-inorganic perovskite NC LED is demonstrated,which is based on an efficient energy transfer from wide-bandgap materials(CsPbCl3 NCs)to ytterbium ions(yb3+)as an NIR emitter doped in perovskite *** optimized CsPbCl3 NC with 15 mol%yb3+doping concentration has the strongest 980 nm photoluminescence(PL)peak,with a PL quantum yield of 63%.An inverted perovskite NC LED is fabricated with the structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/poly-TPD/CsPbCl3:15 mol%yb3+NCs/TPBi/LiF/*** LED has an External Quantum Efficiency(EQE)of 0.2%,a Full Width at Half Maximum(FWHM)of 47 nm,and a maximum luminescence of 182 cd/m?.The introduction of yb3+doping in perovskite NCs makes it possible to expand its working wavelength to near-infrared band for next-generation light sources and shows potential applications for optoelectronic integration.

Petrogenesis and Tectonic Implications of the Paleoproterozoic A-Type Granites in the Xiong’ershan Area along the Southern Margin of the North China Craton

Paleoproterozoic A-type granites are widely distributed in the southern margin of the North China Craton(SNCC),providing important information for understanding the Paleoproterozoic tectonic regimes in this *** paper reports newly obtained whole-rock compositions and zircon U-Pb ages for the Tieluping syenogranite porphyry(TLP)and Huoshenmiao alkali granite porphyry(HSM)in the *** from the TLP and HSM have U-Pb ages of 1805±12 and 1792±14 Ma,*** ages are taken to date the emplacement of these *** had high total alkali contents(K_(2)O+Na_(2)O>7.13 wt.%),with high 10000×Ga/Al ratios(3.06–3.41)and Zr+Y+Nb+Ce values(709 ppm–910 ppm)as well as high zircon saturation temperatures(864–970℃),indicative of A-type granite *** Y/Nb(1.75–3.32),Ce/Nb(7.72–9.72),and yb/Ta(2.89–5.60)ratios suggested that TLP and HSM belonged to the A2-type *** negative whole rockε_(Nd)(t)values(−8.4 to−6.6)and negative zirconε_(Hf)(t)values(−15.9 to−6.3)confirmed that TLP and HSM were likely generated by the partial melting of an ancient continental ***εHf(t)(−7.4 to+4.0)values of inherited zircons in the TLP suggested that they were derived from the partial melting of Archean basement *** the geochemical similarity of the 1.80 Ga A-type granitoids in the SNCC,we propose that the TLP and HSM were formed in a post-collisional regime that was likely associated with the break-off of the Paleoproterozoic subducted *** of the asthenosphere provided huge heat to generate the regional 1.80 Ga A-type granite in the SNCC.

Background:The human epidermal growth factor(HER2/neu) oncoprotein is composed of an intracellular tyrosine kinase portion,a short transmembrane section,and an extracellular ligand-binding domain(ECD). The latter is frequently cleaved from the surface of breast cancer cells and the serum HER2 ECD levels can be detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA).Consistent with majority of reports,our prior study showed that high circulating levels of the HER2 ECD indicates poor prognosis in 207 patients with metastatic breast *** the present study,we aimed to elucidate whether serum HER2 ECD levels would predict the clinical outcome of metastatic breast cancer patients.
