High Fischer ratio oligopeptides(HFOPs)have a variety of physiological activities,but there are few literatures reporting the hepatoprotective effects of HFOPs against acetaminophen(APAP)-induced liver *** ob-jectives of this study were to establish the preparation process of HFOPs from hard-shelled mussel(Mytilus coruscus)(HFOPs-HM)and investigate the hepatoprotective effects and potential mechanisms of HFOPs-HM against APAP-induced liver injury in ***,trypsin and papain were selected as the endo and exog-enous proteases for preparing HFOPs-HM according to the degree of hydrolysis(DH)of hard-shelled mussel hydrolysates,and activated carbon of XHJ-200 displayed the best effect to remove aromatic amino acids ac-cording to the Fischer ratio(OD220/OD280)and its parameters were optimized as adsorption time of 3.0 h and solid-liquid ratio of 1:*** HFOPs-HM’s Fischer ratio and average molecular weight were 26.03(>20)and 878.54 Da,***,a mice model of liver injury induced by APAP was ***-HM could significantly improve liver index and histopathological features,decrease the serum alanine aminotrans-ferase(ALT)and aspartate transaminase(AST)activities,increase the glutathione content and superoxide dis-mutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)*** research demonstrated that HFOPs-HM could alleviate liver oxidative stress in liver tissue via activating the Nrf2 pathway to initiate the intracellular antioxidant enzyme *** addition,HFOPs-HM also suppressed liver inflammation by downregulating the secretion of TNF-α,IL-1β,and ***,HFOPs-HM could serve as an auxiliary functional dietary molecule applied in function products to alleviate drug-induced liver injury.

Viral infection induces the initiation of antiviral effectors and cytokines which are critical mediators of innate antiviral *** critical molecular determinants are responsible for triggering an appropriate immune *** noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)have emerged as new gene modulators involved in various biological processes,while how lncRNAs operate in lower vertebrates are still ***,we discover a long noncoding RNA,termed antiviral-associated long noncoding RNA(AANCR),as a novel regulator for innate antiviral responses in teleost *** results indicate that fish MITA plays an essential role in host antiviral responses and inhibition of Siniperca chuatsi rhabdovirus(SCRV)***-210 reduces MITA expression and suppress MITA-mediated antiviral responses,which may help viruses evade host antiviral ***,AANCR functions as a competing endogenous RNA(ceRNA)for miR-210 to control protein abundance of MITA,thereby inhibiting SCRV replication and promoting antiviral *** data not only shed new light on understanding the function role of lncRNA in biological processes in teleost fish,but confirmed the hypothesis that ceRNA networks exist widely in vertebrates.

Geological storage of acid gas has been identified as a promising approach to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide(CO_(2)),hydrogen sulfide(H_(2)S)and alleviate public concern resulting from the sour gas production.A good understanding of the relative permeability and capillary pressure characteristics is crucial to predict the process of acid gas injection and *** prediction of injection and redistribution of acid gas is important to determine storage capacity,formation pressure,plume extent,shape,and leakage ***,the existing experimental data and theoretical models were reviewed to gain a better understanding of the issue how the H_(2)S content affects gas density,gas viscosity,interfacial tension,wettability,relative permeability and capillary pressure characteristics of acid gas/brine/rock *** densities and viscosities of the acid gas with different H_(2)S mole fractions are both temperature-and pressure-dependent,which vary among the gas,liquid and supercritical ***/acid gas interfacial tension decreases strongly with increasing H_(2)S *** mica and clean quartz,water contact angle increases with increasing H_(2)S mole *** particular,wettability reversal of mica to a H_(2)S-wet behavior occurs in the presence of dense H_(2)*** capillary pressure increases with decreasing contact *** a given saturation,the relative permeability of a fluid is higher when the fluid is *** capillary pressure decreases with decreasing interfacial tension at a given ***,the existing datasets do not show a consistent link between capillary number and relative *** capillary pressure decreases with increasing H_(2)S mole ***,there is no consensus on the effect of the H_(2)S content on the relative permeability *** may be due to the limited availability of the relative permeability and capillary pressure data for acid gas/brine/rock systems;thus,more experimental measure

Accurate information on the location and magnitude of vegetation change in scenic areas can guide the configuration of tourism facilities and the formulation of vegetation protection *** spatial resolution remote sensing images can be used to detect subtle vegetation *** major objective of this study was to map and quantify forest vegetation changes in a national scenic location,the Purple Mountains of Nanjing,China,using multi-temporal cross-sensor high spatial resolution satellite images to identify the main drivers of the vegetation changes and provide a reference for sustainable *** used Quickbird images acquired in 2004,IKONOS images acquired in 2009,and WorldView2 images acquired in *** pixel-based direct change detection methods including the normalized difference vegetation index difference method,multi-index integrated change analysis(MIICA),principal component analysis,and spectral gradient difference analysis were compared in terms of their change detection ***,the best pixel-based detection method in conjunction with object-oriented image analysis was used to extract subtle forest vegetation *** accuracy assessment using the stratified random sampling points was conducted to evaluate the performance of the change detection *** results showed that the MIICA method was the best pixel-based change detection *** the object-oriented MIICA with an overall accuracy of 0.907 and a kappa coefficient of 0.846 was superior to the pixel-based *** 2004 to 2009,areas of vegetation gain mainly occurred around the periphery of the study area,while areas of vegetation loss were observed in the interior and along the boundary of the study area due to construction activities,which contributed to 79%of the total area of vegetation *** 2009–2015,the greening initiatives around the construction areas increased the forest vegetation coverage,accounting for 84%of the total area of veget

A benthic harmful dinoflagellate bloom caused by Prorocentrum concavum occurred at Xincun Bay,a lagoon characterized by a tropical seagrass ecosystem in the southern China,in summer *** abiotic and biotic factors may affect the abundance dynamics of *** of the biotic factors,allelopathy,is known to be especially common among aquatic species and is suggested to be an economical and environmentally-friendly way to eliminate Benthic Harmful Algal Blooms(BHABs).To investigate the possible allelopathic interactions between seagrasses and ***,a field survey was conducted to study the cell densities of *** on four major substrates over 12 *** laboratory,fresh Enhalus acoroides leaves and a crude aqueous extract of dry *** leaves were added to the culture of *** respectively to assess possible effects on the growth and photosynthesis activities of *** *** results showed that the average abundance of *** on *** leaves was statistically lower than that on the sediment outside the seagrass meadow and that on Thalassia hemperichii *** the growth and photosynthesis activities of *** cells were inhibited in the two experiments,which can be attributed to the release and production of allelochemicals by *** results offer new insights into the interaction between the submerged seagrass *** and the benthic harmful algal bloom dinoflagellate ***,which can influence the abundance dynamics of *** and provide an alternative for reducing potential threat of BHABs.

Single-atom catalysts have risen significant attention in the realm of green electrocatalytic energy conversion to address energy and environmental sustainability *** metal dichalcogenide(TMD)-based single-atom catalysts are considered highly effective in electrocatalysis due to the TMDs'notable specific surface area,tunable elemental species and efficient utilization of single *** order to enhance electrocatalytic performance,it is imperative to elaborately engineer the local environment surrounding the active sites of single atoms within *** this review,we initially explore the effects of synthesis methods on single-atom active sites and the influence of loading of single atoms on catalytic performance for *** modulation strategies of the local environment surrounding single-atom sites in TMDs are elaborated,including substitution engineering,surface adsorption,vacancies,spatial confinement and dual-atom site *** each modulation strategy,the effects of diverse local environments on various electrocatalytic applications are presented,such as the oxygen evolution reaction,oxygen reduction reaction,nitrogen reduction reaction,CO_(2)reduction reaction and CO ***,this study presents a comprehensive overview of the challenges encountered and the potential directions for the advancement of single-atom catalysts based on TMDs in the realm of electrocatalysis.

As an active defenses technique,multivariant execution(MVX)can detect attacks by monitoring the consistency of heterogeneous variants with parallel *** with patch-style passive defense,MVX can defend against known and even unknown vulnerability-based attacks without relying on attack feature ***,variants generated with software diversity technologies will introduce new vulnerabilities when they execute in ***,we analyze the security of MVX theory from the perspective of formal *** we summarize the general forms and techniques for attacks against MVX,and analyze the new vulnerabilities arising from the combination of variant generation *** propose SecMVX,a secure MVX architecture and variant generation *** evaluations based on CVEs and SPEC 2006 benchmark show that SecMVX introduces 11.29%of the average time overhead,and avoids vulnerabilities caused by the improper combination of variant generation technologies while keeping the defensive ability of MVX.
