Investigations of methane adsorption characteristics on marine-continental transitional shales and gas storage capacity models considering pore evolution

Methane adsorption is a critical assessment of the gas storage capacity(GSC) of shales with geological conditions. Although the related research of marine shales has been well-illustrated, the methane adsorption of marine-continental transitional(MCT) shales is still ambiguous. In this study, a method of combining experimental data with analytical models was used to investigate the methane adsorption characteristics and GSC of MCT shales collected from the Qinshui Basin, China. The Ono-Kondo model was used to fit the adsorption data to obtain the adsorption parameters. Subsequently, the geological model of GSC based on pore evolution was constructed using a representative shale sample with a total organic carbon(TOC) content of 1.71%, and the effects of reservoir pressure coefficient and water saturation on GSC were explored. In experimental results, compared to the composition of the MCT shale, the pore structure dominates the methane adsorption, and meanwhile, the maturity mainly governs the pore structure. Besides, maturity in the middle-eastern region of the Qinshui Basin shows a strong positive correlation with burial depth. The two parameters, micropore pore volume and non-micropore surface area, induce a good fit for the adsorption capacity data of the shale. In simulation results, the depth,pressure coefficient, and water saturation of the shale all affect the GSC. It demonstrates a promising shale gas potential of the MCT shale in a deeper block, especially with low water saturation. Specifically,the economic feasibility of shale gas could be a major consideration for the shale with a depth of 60% in the Yushe-Wuxiang area. This study provides a valuable reference for the reservoir evaluation and favorable block search of MCT shale gas.

Electroacupuncture Promotes Angiogenesis in Mice with Cerebral Ischemia by Inhibiting miR-7

Efficacy of electroacupuncture on myocardial protection and postoperative rehabilitation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass:a systematic review and Meta-analysis

OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy of electroacupuncture(EA)intervention on myocardial protection and postoperative rehabilitation in patients undergoing cardiac surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass(CPB).METHODS:Eight databases,including Pub Med,Embase,the Cochrane Library,Web of Science,Chinese Bio Medical Literature Database,China National Knowledge Infrastructure Database,Wanfang Data,China Science and Technology Journal Database,and two clinical trial registries,were *** randomized controlled trials(RCTs)related to EA intervention in cardiac surgery with CPB were *** on the inclusion and exclusion criteria,two researchers independently screened articles and extracted *** the quality evaluation,RevMan 5.3 software was used for ***:Fourteen RCTs involving 836 patients were *** with the control treatment,EA significantly increased the incidence of cardiac automatic rebeat after aortic unclamping[relative risk(RR)=1.15,95%confidence interval(CI)(1.01,1.31),P<0.05;moderate].Twenty-four hours after aortic unclamping,EA significantly increased the superoxide dismutase[standardized mean difference(SMD)=0.96,95%CI(0.32,1.61),P<0.05;low],and interleukin(IL)-2[SMD=1.33,95%CI(0.19,2.47),P<0.05;very low]expression levels and decreased the malondialdehyde[SMD=-1.62,95%CI(-2.15,-1.09),P<0.05;moderate],tumour necrosis factor-α[SMD=-1.28,95%CI(-2.37,-0.19),P<0.05;moderate],and cardiac troponin I[SMD=-1.09,95%CI(-1.85,-0.32),P<0.05;low]expression levels as well as the inotrope scores[SMD=-0.77,95%CI(-1.22,-0.31),P<0.05;high].There was no difference in IL-6 and IL-10 expression *** amount of intraoperative sedative[SMD=-0.31,95%CI(-0.54,-0.09),P<0.05;moderate]and opioid analgesic[SMD=-0.96,95%CI(-1.53,-0.38),P<0.05;low]medication was significantly lower in the EA group than in the control ***,the postoperative tracheal intubation time[SMD=-0.92,95%CI(-1.40,-0.45),P<0.05;low]and intensive care unit stay[SMD=-1.

The emerging biomass-based epoxy vitrimers hold great potential to fulfill the requirements for sustainable development of *** the existence of dynamic chemical bonds in vitrimers often reduces both the thermal and mechanical properties of epoxy resins, it is challenging to produce recyclable epoxy vitrimers with both excellent mechanical properties and good thermal stability. Herein, a monomer 4-(((5-(hydroxymethyl)furan-2-yl)methylene)amino)phenol(FCN) containing furan ring with potential to form high density of hydrogen bonding among repeating units is designed and copolymerized with glycerol triglycidyl ether to yield epoxy resin(FCN-GTE), which intrinsically has dual hydrogen bond networks, dynamic imine structure and resultant high performance. Importantly, as compared to the BPA-GTE, the FCN-GTE exhibits significantly improved mechanical properties owing to the increased density of hydrogen bond network and physical crosslinking interaction. Furthermore, density functional theory(DFT) calculation and in situ FTIR analysis is conducted to decipher the formation mechanism of hydrogen bond network. In addition, the FCN-GTE possesses superior UV shielding, chemical degradation, and recyclability because of the existence of abundant imine bonds. Notably, the FCN-GTE-based carbon fiber composites could be completely recycled in an amine *** study provides a facile strategy for synthesizing recyclable biomass-based high-performance epoxy vitrimers and carbon fiber composites.

The limited infiltration and persistence of chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)-T cells is primarily responsible for their treatment deficits in solid tumors. Here, we present a three-dimensional scaffold, inspired by the physiological process of T-cell proliferation in lymph nodes. This scaffold gathers the function of loading,delivery, activation and expansion for CAR-T cells to enhance their therapeutic effects on solid tumors. This porous device is made from poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) by a microfluidic technique with the modification of T-cell stimulatory signals, including anti-CD3, anti-CD28 antibodies, as well as cytokines. This scaffold fosters a 50-fold CAR-T cell expansion in vitro and a 15-fold cell expansion in vivo. Particularly, it maintains long-lasting expansion of CAR-T cells for up to 30 days in a cervical tumor model and significantly inhibits the tumor growth. This biomimetic delivery strategy provides a versatile platform of cell delivery and activation for CAR-T cells in treating solid tumors.

Cross-linked Electrospun Gel Polymer Electrolytes for Lithium-Ion Batteries

Lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)benefit from an effective electrolyte system design in both terms of their safety and energy storage ***,a series of precursor membranes with high porosity were produced using electrospinning technology by mixing PVDF and triblock copolymer(PS-PEO-PS),resulting in a porous structure with good interconnections,which facilitates the absorbency of a large amount of electrolyte and further increases the ionic conductivity of gel polymer electrolytes(GPEs).It has been demonstrated that post-cross-linking of the precursor membranes increa ses the rigidity of the nanofibers,which allows the polymer film to be dimensionally sta ble up to 260℃while maintaining superior electrochemical *** obtained cross-linked GPEs(CGPEs)showed high ionic conductivity up to 4.53×10^(-3)S·cm^(-1).With the CGPE-25,the assembled Li/LiFeP04 half cells exhibited good rate capability and maintained a capacity of 99.4%and a coulombic efficiency of99.3%at 0.1 *** results suggest that the combination of electrospinning technique and post-cross-linking is an effective method to construct polymer electrolytes with high thermal stability and steadily decent electrochemical performance,particularly useful for Lithium-ion battery applications that require high-temperature usage.

Photo-Responsive Carbon Capture over Metalloporphyrin-C_(60) Metal-Organic Frameworks via Charge-Transfer

Great efforts have been devoted to the study of photo-responsive adsorption,but its current methodology largely depends on the well-defined photochromic units and their photo-driven molecular ***,a methodology to fabricate nondeforming photo-responsive sorbents is successfully *** C_(60)-fullerene doping in metalloporphyrin metal-organic frameworks(PCN-M,M=Fe,Co,or Ni)and intensively interacting with the metalloporphyrin sites,effective charge-transfer can be achieved over the metalloporphyrin-C_(60) architectures once excited by the light at 350 to 780 *** electron density distribution and the resultant adsorption activity are thus changed by excited states,which are also stable enough to meet the timescale of microscopic adsorption *** charge-transfer over Co(II)-porphyrin-C_(60) is proved to be more efficient than the Fe(II)-and Ni(II)-porphyrin-C_(60) sites,as well as than all the metalloporphyrin sites,so the CO_(2) adsorption capacity(CAC;at 0°C and 1 bar)over the C_(60)-doped PCN-Co can be largely improved from 2.05 mmol g^(−1) in the darkness to 2.69 mmol g−1 with light,increased by 31%,in contrast to photo-irresponsive CAC over all C_(60)-undoped PCN-M sorbents and only the photo-loss CAC over C_(60).

Antigen rapid diagnostic tests(Ag-RDTs)have been considered and implemented as an important diagnostic and screening tool to identify SARS-CoV-2 infections in community settings.1 Ag-RDTs are less sensitive,particularly in asymptomatic populations,compared with laboratorybased viral nucleic acid amplification tests(NAATs)such as reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR).2 However,taking into account the facts that Ag-RDTs are effective for identifying most contagious individuals,they are faster and less expensive than RT-PCR,as well as that RT-PCR could produce positive results for weeks to months after the infection,2 WHO recommends Ag-RDTs be offered as COVID-19 self-testing for screening purposes in addition to professionally administered testing services regardless of the community transmission level.
