The influence of trace As content(0.04,0.05,0.06 wt%)on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of AZ91 alloy in different metallurgical conditions(as-cast,as-quenched,peak-aged)was firstly *** is found that the corrosion resistance of AZ91 alloy in all conditions is significantly enhanced by As addition,mainly due to cathodic toxication,melt purification and incidence reduction of local *** alloying leads to the formation of Mg 3 As 2 and makes the β-Mg 17 Al 12 phase less continuous in the as-cast *** alloy containing 0.06 wt%As obtains a higher corrosion rate than those of the alloy containing 0.05 wt%As owing to a more discontinuity of β *** β phase is dissolved into the matrix in the as-quenched alloys and reprecipitates along the grain boundaries after *** more continuous β phase distribution in the peak-aged alloys contributes to corrosion *** corrosion rates are in the order of as-quenched>as-cast>*** lowest corrosion rate(0.67 mm/y)in 3.5 wt%NaCl solution is obtained in the peak-aged AZ91-0.05As alloy,which is over 70%lower than that of as-cast AZ91 alloy(2.22 mm/y).

A new parameter, i.e., tearing toughness, was employed to characterize the mechanical properties of some ductile metals （Cu, Cu-2 wt% Be, Cu-Al alloys, and some steels） by using three-leg trousers tearing tests. The experi- mental results demonstrate that their tearing toughness is not a physical constant and shows a close relationship with the materials＇ types and microstructures. It can be inferred that the tearing toughness of different ductile metals has their respective variation range, expectantly, and may be represented by the comprehensive mechanical properties of strength and ductility for various ductile materials.

Objective Genomic alterations and potential neoantigens for cervical cancer immunotherapy were identified in a cohort of Chinese patients with cervical squamous cell carcinoma(CSCC).Methods Whole-exome sequencing was used to identify genomic alterations and potential neoantigens for CSCC *** Sequencing was performed to analyze neoantigen *** Systematic bioinformatics analysis showed that C>T/G>A transitions/transversions were dominant in *** mutations were the most frequent types of somatic mutation in the coding sequence *** signature analysis detected signature 2,signature 6,and signature 7 in CSCC ***3CA,FBXW7,and BICRA were identified as potential driver genes,with BICRA as a newly reported *** variation profiling identified 4,960 potential neoantigens,of which 114 were listed in two neoantigen-related *** The present findings contribute to our understanding of the genomic characteristics of CSCC and provide a foundation for the development of new biotechnology methods for individualized immunotherapy in CSCC.

The cause of the premature failure of 304 stainless steel tube heat exchanger was *** unique skeleton structure inside the leakage point reveals that this is a new damage mechanism caused by a δ+γ two-phase structure and crevice *** three-dimensional structure of the leakage point was demonstrated using X-ray diffraction *** results of scanning electron microscope examination show the microstructure of the weld to be columnar and *** is found by electron probe microscope analysis and transmission electron microscopy that columnar dendrites consisted of γ-dendrite and an amount of δ-ferrite phases at the dendrite *** corrosion test results confirmed that the corrosion medium was the chloride *** corrosion of chloride ions occurred at weld defects on the inner wall thus forming a concentration *** of columnar dendrites were then corroded by chloride ions and δ-ferrite phases on the grain boundaries were retained,which formed the particular skeleton corrosion *** a result,it led to leakage when the corrosion of weld occurred from the inner wall to the outer wall.

Gravity retaining wall with geogrids has showed excellent seismic performance from Wenchuan great ***,seismic damage mechanism of this kind of wall is not sufficiently *** view of this,a large shaking table test of the gravity retaining wall with geogrids to reinforce the subgrade slope was carried out,and based on the HilbertHuang transform and the marginal spectrum theory,the energy identification method of the slope dynamic failure mode was *** results show that the geogrids can effectively reduce displacement and rotation of the retaining wall,and it can effectively absorb the energy of the ground movement when combined with the surrounding *** addition,it also reveals the failure development of the gravity retaining wall with geogrids to reinforce the subgrade *** damage started in the deep zone near the geogrids,and then gradually extended to the surface of the subgrade slope and other zones,finally formed a continuous failure surface along the *** analysis results of the failure mode identified by the Hilbert marginal spectrum are in good consistency with the experimental results,which prove that the Hilbert marginal spectrum can be applied to obtain the seismic damage mechanism of slope.

Can aluminum generate deformation twins？ Contradictories exist among the experimental results, theoretical predictions, and molecular dynamics simulations. Our first-principles calculations based on the full-potential linearly augmented plane wave method show that the bonding electron density of aluminum gathers at the tetrahedral interstices, and this specific electronic structure is in agreement with the experimental data from quantitative convergent-beam electron diffraction. In terms of this characteristic, the matching between the cohesive energy of local deformation twins with different thickness and global matrix can shed light on deformation twins in aluminum. This study may give a lane to insight into deformation twins in different metals.

The characteristics of electrons play a dominant role in determining the ionization and acceleration processes of *** with electrostatic diagnostics,the optical method is independent of the radio frequency(RF)noise,magnetic field,and electric *** this paper,an optical emission spectroscope was used to determine the plasma emission spectra,electron excitation energy population distributions(EEEPDs),growth rates of low-energy and highenergy electrons,and their intensity jumps with input *** 56 emission lines with the highest signal-to-noise ratio and their corresponding electron excitation energy were used for the translation of the spectrum into *** discrete EEEPD has two clear different regions,namely the low-energy electron excitation region(neutral lines with threshold energy of13–15 eV)and the high-energy electron excitation region(ionic lines with threshold energy?19 e V).The EEEPD variations with different diameters of discharge tubes(20 mm,40 mm,and 60 mm)and different input RF powers(200–1800 W)were *** normalized intensity comparison of the ionic and neutral lines,the growth rate of the ionic population was higher than the neutral one,especially when the tube diameter was less than 40 mm and the input power was higher than 1000 ***,we found that the intensities of low-energy electrons and high-energy electrons jump at different input powers from inductively coupled(H)mode to helicon(W)mode;therefore,the determination of W mode needs to be carefully considered.

Taking marine source rocks of lower Paleozoic in the Tarim Basin and Paleozoic ones in the Sichuan Basin as examples, their sedimentation process could be classified into four styles: continuous subsidence with deep sedimentation in early stage, continuous subsidence with deep sedimentation in later stage, that deeply buried-uplift-shallowly buried, and that shallowly buried-uplift-deeply buried. Unlike that in East China, the marine source rocks evolvement patterns did not accord with sedimentation styles one by one in superimposed basins in west China. Taking local geothermal field into account, four types of source rock evolvement patterns were built: that evolved fast in early stage, evolved fast in middle stage, evolved continuously and evolved in multistage. Among them, the 1st pattern contributed little to the present industrial oil pools directly, but paleo-oil reservoirs and gases cracked from crude oils were main exploration targets. Although some gases were found in the 2nd pattern, the scale was not big enough. For the 3rd and 4th patterns, the hydrocarbon potential depended on organic matters maturity in early stage. For relatively low mature rocks, it was possible to generate some oils in later stage; otherwise the main products were gases. Paleo-oil reservoirs remained fairly well in the Sichuan Basin, and most source rocks underwent kerogen-oil-gas processes, which was useful reference to gas exploration in the Tarim Basin.
