Enhancing Li cycling coulombic efficiency while mitigating “shuttle effect” of Li-S battery through sustained release of LiNO_(3)

In practical lithium-sulfur batteries(LSBs),the shuttle effect and Li cycling coulombic efficiency(CE) are strongly affected by the physicochemical properties of solid electrolyte interphase(SEI).LiNO_(3) is widely used as an additive in electrolytes to build a high-quality SEI,but its self-sacrificial nature limits the ability to mitigate the shuttle effect and stabilize Li anode during long-term cycling.To counteract LiNO_(3) consumption during long-term cycling without using a high initial concentration,inspired by sustainedrelease drugs,we encapsulated LiNO_(3) in lithiated Nafion polymer and added an electrolyte co-solvent(1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethylene 2,2,2-trifluoromethyl ether) with poor LiNO_(3) solubility to construct highquality and durable F-and N-rich SEI.Theoretical calculations,experiments,multiphysics simulations,and in-situ observations confirmed that the F-and N-rich SEI can modulate lithium deposition behavior and allow persistent repair of SEI during prolonged cycling.Hence,the F-and N-rich SEI improves the Li anode cycling CE to 99.63% and alleviates the shuttle effect during long-term cycling.The lithium anode with sustainable F-and N-rich SEI shows a stable Li plating/stripping over 2000 h at 1 mA cm^(-2).As expected,Li‖S full cells with this SEI achieved a long lifespan of 250 cycles,far exceeding cells with a routine SEI.The Li‖S pouch cell based on F-and N-rich SEI also can achieve a high energy density of about300 Wh kg^(-1) at initial cycles.This strategy provides a novel design for high-quality and durable SEls in LSBs and may also be extendable to other alkali metal batteries.

In this paper,Cu-doped Bi_(2)WO_(6)was synthesized via a solvothermal method and applied it in photocatalytic N_(2)immobilization.Characterization results showed the presence of a small amount of metallic Bi in the photocatalyst,indicating that the synthesized photocatalyst is actually Bi/Cu-Bi_(2)WO_(6)composite.The doped Cu had a valence state of+2 and most likely substituted the position of Bi^(3+).The introduced Cu did not affect the metallic Bi content,but mainly influenced the energy band structure of Bi_(2)WO_(6).The band gap was slightly narrowed,the conduction band was elevated,and the work function was reduced.The reduced work function improved the transfer and separation of charge carriers,which mainly caused the increased photoactivity.The optimized NH_(3)generation rates of Bi/Cu-Bi_(2)WO_(6)reached 624 and 243μmol·L^(-1)·g^(-1)·h^(-1)under simulated solar and visible light,and these values were approximately 2.8 and 5.9 times higher those of Bi/Bi_(2)WO_(6),respectively.This research provides a method for improving the photocatalytic N_(2)fixation and may provide more information on the design and preparation of heteroatom-doped semiconductor photocatalysts for N_(2)-to-NH_(3)conversion.

The novel coronavirus pneumonia(COVID-19)epidemic has brought serious social psychological impact to the Chinese people,especially those quarantined and thus with limited access to face-to-face communication and traditional social psychological interventions.To better deal with the urgent psychological problems of people involved in the COVID-19 epidemic,we developed a new psychological crisis intervention model by utilizing internet technology.This new model,one of West China Hospital,integrates physicians,psychiatrists,psychologists and social workers into Internet platforms to carry out psychological intervention to patients,their families and medical staff.We hope this model will make a sound basis for developing a more comprehensive psychological crisis intervention response system that is applicable for urgent social and psychological problems.

This study reviewed clinical evidence of probiotics-mediated effects on constipation.Four databases were used in the literature searches,namely Cochrane Library,Embase,Pubmed,and Web of Science.The last retrieval time was March 2021.Collected data were analyzed by Review Manager(version 5.3)and Stata(version 14).The primary search retrieved 8418 articles after removing duplicates.Eventually,26 studies were included in the meta-analysis.Administration of probiotics signifi cantly increased stool frequency(MD:1.15 times/week;95%CI:0.59 to 1.70;Pothers(tablets,powder)>fermented milk.

边权攻击和位置语义攻击根据移动用户活动的周边环境推断用户的位置,泄露用户的位置隐私。针对该问题,提出一种防边权攻击的位置语义安全隐私保护方法。该方法将道路的敏感度和关联度结合,构建道路隐私度,描述道路在语义位置的敏感性,及道路与匿名集中其他道路上用户数量分布的均衡性;基于中心服务器结构,根据用户的位置隐私要求,采用宽度优先搜索方式,筛选道路隐私度最小的道路加入匿名集,以生成具备语义安全和防边权推断攻击的匿名集。仿真测试结果表明,该方法筛选的匿名集的匿名成功率达到87%,抗边权攻击和语义攻击的能力要高于对比算法。

The twinned substructure of lenticular martensite in a quenched Fe–33Ni alloy was studied.In contrary to the traditional viewpoint that the twinned laths come from{112}deformation twins and show insignificant hardening,we demonstrate that they are actually originated from the twinned Kurdjumov Sachs(KS)variants and can give rise to 3–4 times hardening up to~420 HV(~130 HV for the starting sample).The underlying mechanisms responsible for the propensity for twinned variants and the carbon-independent hardening for Fe–Ni system were discussed.

Src heterodimerically activates Lyn or Fyn to serve as targets for the diagnosis and treatment of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma

Although Src is one of the oldest and most investigated oncoproteins,its function in tumor malignancy remains to be defined further.In this study,we demonstrated that the inhibition of Src activity by ponatinib effectively suppressed several malignant phenotypes of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC)both in vitro and in vivo,whereas it did not produce growthinhibitory effects on normal esophageal epithelial cells(NEECs).Importantly,we combined phosphoproteomics and several cellular and molecular biologic strategies to identify that Src interacted with the members of Src-family kinases(SFKs),such as Fyn or Lyn,to form heterodimers.Src interactions with Fyn and Lyn phosphorylated the tyrosine sites in SH2(Fyn Tyr^(185)or Lyn Tyr^(183))and kinase domains(Fyn Tyr^(420) or Lyn Tyr^(397)),which critically contributed to ESCC development.By contrast,Src could not form heterodimers with Fyn or Lyn in NEECs.We used RNA sequencing to comprehensively demonstrate that the inhibition of Src activity effectively blocked several critical tumor-promoting pathways,such as JAK/STAT,mTOR,stemness-related,and metabolism-related pathways.Results of the real-time polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)assay confirmed that Lyn and Fyn were critical effectors for the Src-mediated expression of tumor growth or metastasis-related molecules.Furthermore,results of the clinical ESCC samples showed that the hyperactivation of pSrc Tyr^(419),Fyn Tyr^(185) or Tyr^(420),and Lyn Tyr^(183)or Tyr^(397)could be biomarkers of ESCC prognosis.This study illustrates that Src/Fyn and Src/Lyn heterodimers serve as targets for the treatment of ESCC.

Opencast coal mining has a large impact on the land surface,both at the mining pits themselves and at waste sites.After artifcial management is stopped,a reclaimed opencast coal mine dump is afected by wind and water erosion from natural processes,resulting in land degradation and even safety incidents.In this paper,the soil erosion and land degradation after 5 years of such natural processes,at the Xilinhot opencast coal mine dump in Inner Mongolia,were investigated.A multisource data acquisition method was applied:the vegetation fraction coverage(VFC)was extracted from GF-1 satellite imagery,high-precision terrain characteristics and the location and degree of soil erosion were obtained using a drone,and the physical properties of the topsoil were obtained by feld sampling.On this basis,the degree and spatial distribution of erosion cracks were identifed,and the causes of soil erosion and land degradation were analyzed using the geographical detector.The results show that(1)multi-source data acquisition method can provide efective basic data for the quantitative evaluation of the ecological environment at dumps,and(2)slope aspect and VFC are the main factors afecting the degree of degradation and soil erosion.Based on above analysis,several countermeasures are proposed to mitigate land degradation:(1)The windward slope be designed to imitate the natural landform.(2)Reasonable engineering measures should be applied at the slope to restrain soil erosion.(3)The Pioneer plants should be widely planted on the platform at the early stage of reclamation.

Tailoring the Spatial Distribution and Content of Inorganic Nitrides in Solid-Electrolyte Interphases for the Stable Li Anode in Li-S Batteries

Among the alternatives to lithium-ion batteries,lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are considered as an attractive option because of their high theoretical energy density of 2570 Wh kg^(−1).However,the application of the Li-S battery has been plagued by the rapid failure of the Li anode due to the Li dendrite growth and severe parasitic reactions between Li and lithium polysulfides.The physicochemical properties of the solid-electrolyte interphase have a profound impact on the performance of the Li anode.Herein,a lithium polyacrylic acid/lithium nitrate(LPL)-protective layer is developed to inhibit the dendrite Li growth and parasitic reactions by tailoring the spatial distribution and content of LiN_(x)O_(y) and Li_(3)N at the SEI.The modified SEI is thoroughly investigated for compositions,ion transport properties,and Li plating/stripping kinetics.Consequently,the Li-S cell with a high S loading cathode(5.0 mg cm^(−2)),LPL layer-protected thin Li anode(50μm),and 40μL electrolyte shows a long life span of 120 cycles.This work evokes the avenue for regulating the spatial distribution of inorganic nitride at the SEI to suppress the formation of Li dendrites and parasitic reactions in Li-S batteries and perhaps guiding the design of analogous battery systems.
