Due to the important role ofδphase's quantity and morphology in the mechanical and fatigue properties of Inconel 718 alloy and its components,it is necessary to renew insights into the effect of cold deformation on theδphase precipitation,especially on the morphology ***,the nucleation and growth behavior ofδphase in cold-rolled Inconel 718 alloy during aging were *** results show that the precipitation rate and volume fraction ofδphase increase with increasing the cold rolling reduction from 10%to 50%.The volume fraction ofδphase reaches equilibrium after 5 h,remaining at 5.98%,6.52%,and 6.79%under different rolling reductions(10%,30%,and 50%),*** nucleation ofδphase mainly occurs on different sites(grain boundaries,new twin boundaries and old twin boundaries)under 10%rolling reduction,whileδphase mainly nucleates on the new grain boundaries of static recrystallization due to 50%rolling *** the growth ofδphase undergoes a process of alternate orientation growth from spherical(nucleation)→short rod(longitudinal orientation growth)→short rod(radial orientation growth)→dynamic *** 10%rolling reduction,δphase tends to grow into the matrix,while under 50%rolling reduction,the orientation grows faster and is easily affected by the grain boundary curvature.

Due to the fine-grained communication scenarios characterization and stability,Wi-Fi channel state information(CSI)has been increasingly applied to indoor sensing tasks *** spatial variations are explicitlyreflected in CSI measurements,the representation differences caused by small contextual changes are easilysubmerged in the fluctuations of multipath effects,especially in device-free Wi-Fi *** existing datasolutions cannot fully exploit the temporal,spatial,and frequency information carried by CSI,which results ininsufficient sensing resolution for indoor scenario *** a result,the well-liked machine learning(ML)-based CSI sensing models still struggling with stable *** paper formulates a time-frequency matrixon the premise of demonstrating that the CSI has low-rank potential and then proposes a distributed factorizationalgorithm to effectively separate the stable structured information and context fluctuations in the CSI ***,a multidimensional tensor is generated by combining the time-frequency gradients of CSI,which containsrich and fine-grained real-time contextual *** evaluations and case studies highlight thesuperiority of the proposal.

OBJECTIVE: To determine whether moxibustion had an anti-inflammatory effect on rheumatoid arthritis(RA) by regulating Annexin 1 expression and interfering with the phospholipaseA2 signaling pathway. METHODS: Thirty male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly categorized into five groups(six rats per group): blank control(CON) group, RA model(RA) group, moxibustion(MOX) group, Annexin 1 lentiviral intervention(RNAi-Anxa1) group, and Annexin 1 lentiviral intervention + moxibustion(RNAi-Anxa1 + MOX) group. The rats in the RNAi-Anxa1 and the RNAi-Anxa1 + MOX groups were injected with the lentiviral vector-mediated RNAi-Anxa1 into the rat foot pad. An experimental RA rat model was established by injecting Freund's complete adjuvant(FCA) into the RA, MOX, RNAi-Anxa1, and RNAi-Anxa1 + MOX groups. Rats in the MOX and RNAiAnxa1 + MOX groups received moxibustion treatment. After modeling, using moxibustion “Shenshu(BL23)” and “Zusanli(ST36)”, each point is 5 times, bilateral alternating, once a day, 6 times for a course of treatment, between the courses of rest for a one day. A total of three treatment courses were conducted. Both bilateral pad thicknesses were measured using Vernier calipers on experimental days 1, 7, 14, 21, and 28. The expression of cPLA2α signaling in the synovium of diseased joints was observed using Western blot. The pathology of the rat ankle synovium was observed using hematoxylineosin(HE) staining. Interleukin(IL)-1β, IL-10, prostaglandin E2(PGE2), and leukotriene B4(LTB4) were detected using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. RESULTS: Moxibustion increased the levels of Annexin 1 and decreased the inflammatory response in rats with RA. After increasing the expression of Annexin 1, the phosphorylated expression of cPLA2α was inhibited, the serum levels of IL-1β, PGE2, and LTB4 decreased, and the level of IL-10 increased. Background:Liver cancer is largely resistant to *** study aimed to identify the effective chemotherapeutics forβ-catenin-activated liver cancer which is caused by gain-of-function mutation of catenin beta 1(CTNNB1),the most frequently altered proto-oncogene in hepatic ***:Constitutiveβ-catenin-activated mouse embryonic fibroblasts(MEFs)were established by deleting exon 3(β-catenin^(Δ(ex3)/+)),the most common mutation site in CTNNB1 gene.A screening of 12 widely used chemotherapy drugs was conducted for the ones that selectively inhibitedβ-catenin^(Δ(ex3)/+)but not for wild-type *** metabolomics was carried out to examine the alterations of metabolites in nucleotide *** efficacy and selectivity of methotrexate(MTX)onβ-catenin-activated human liver cancer cells were determined in ***-deficient nude mice subcutaneously inoculated withβ-catenin wild-type or mutant liver cancer cells and hepatitis B virus(HBV);β-catenin^(lox(ex3)/+)mice were used,respectively,to evaluate the efficacy of MTX in the treatment ofβ-catenin mutant liver ***:MTX was identified and validated as a preferential agent against the proliferation and tumor formation ofβ-catenin-activated *** nucleotide synthesis was the major metabolic aberration inβ-catenin-active cells,and this alteration was also the target of ***,MTX abrogated hepatocarcinogenesis of HBV;β-catenin^(lox(ex3)/+)mice,which stimulated concurrent Ctnnb1-activated mutation and HBV infection in liver ***:MTX is a promising chemotherapeutic agent forβ-catenin hyperactive liver *** repurposing MTX has the advantages of lower risk,shorter timelines,and less investment in drug discovery and development,a clinical trial is warranted to test its efficacy in the treatment ofβ-catenin mutant liver cancer.

The distribution of the immune system throughout the body complicates in vitro assessments of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)immunobiology,often resulting in a lack of reproducibility when extrapolated to the whole ***,developing animal models is imperative for a comprehensive understanding of the pathology and immunology of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)*** review summarizes current progress related to COVID-19 animal models,including non-human primates(NHPs),mice,and hamsters,with a focus on their roles in exploring the mechanisms of immunopathology,immune protection,and long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection,as well as their application in immunoprevention and immunotherapy of SARS-CoV-2 *** among these animal models and their specific applications are also highlighted,as no single model can fully encapsulate all aspects of *** effectively address the challenges posed by COVID-19,it is essential to select appropriate animal models that can accurately replicate both fatal and non-fatal infections with varying courses and *** animal model libraries and associated research tools is key to resolving the global COVID-19 pandemic,serving as a robust resource for future emerging infectious diseases.

Dear Editor,Persistent Mullerian duct syndrome(PMDS;Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man[OMIM]:#261550)is a rare autosomal recessive inherent difference in sex development in males with Mullerian duct derivatives,including the uterus,fallopian tubes,and upper part of the vagina.'Approximately 88%of PMDS patients were found to have biallelic variants in the anti-Mullerian hormone(AMH;OMIM:*600957)or AMH type 2 receptor(AMHR2;OMIM:*600956)genes,and the rest were referred as idiopathic.I The serum AMH levels are usually very low or undetectable in PMDS patients with AMH gene mutations but normal or elevated in those with AMHR2 gene ***,an adult Chinese patient with PMDS carrying biallelic variants of the AMH gene was reported to have unexpectedly normal serum AMH *** refer to Supplementary Information of Patient and Methods for methodologies.
