Highly divergent SARS-CoV-2 variants have continuously emerged and spread around the world,and updated vaccines and innovative vaccination strategies are urgently needed to address the global SARS-COV2 ***,we established a series of Ad5-vectored SARS-CoV-2 variant vaccines encoding multiple spike proteins derived from the Alpha,Beta,Gamma,Epsilon,Kappa,Delta and Omicron lineages and analyzed the antibody immune responses induced by single-dose and prime-boost vaccination strategies against emerging SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern(VOCs).Single-dose vaccination with SARS-CoV-2 variant vaccines tended to elicit the optimal self-matched neutralizing effects,and Ad5-B.1.351 produced more broad-spectrum cross-neutralizing antibodies against diverse *** contrast,prime-boost vaccination further strengthened and broadened the neutralizing antibody responses against highly divergent SARS-CoV-2 *** heterologous administration of Ad5-B.1.617.2 and Ad5-B.1.429 to Ad5-WT-primed mice resulted in superior antibody responses against most *** particular,the Omicron spike could only stimulate self-matched neutralizing antibodies with infrequent cross-reactivities to other variants used in single-dose vaccination strategies;moreover,with prime-boost regimens,this vaccine elicited an optimal specific neutralizing antibody response to Omicron,and prompted cross-antibody responses against other VOCs that were very similar to those obtained with Ad5-WT ***,this study delineated the unique characteristics of antibody responses to the SARS-CoV-2 VOC spikes with the single-dose or prime-boost vaccination strategies and provided insight into the vaccine development of next SARS-CoV-2 VOCs.

The photoreduction of greenhouse gas CO_(2) using photocatalytic technologies not only benefits en-vironmental remediation but also facilitates the production of raw materials for ***-er,the efficiency of CO_(2) photoreduction remains generally low due to the challenging activation of CO_(2) and the limited light absorption and separation of *** engineering of catalysts rep-resents a pivotal strategy to enhance the photocatalytic activity for CO_(2),with most research on met-al oxide catalysts focusing on the creation of anionic *** exploration of metal vacancies and their effects,however,is still *** this study,we prepared an In2O3 catalyst with indium vacancies(VIn)through defect engineering for CO_(2) *** and theo-retical calculations results demonstrate that VIn not only facilitate light absorption and charge sepa-ration in the catalyst but also enhance CO_(2) adsorption and reduce the energy barrier for the for-mation of the key intermediate*COOH during CO_(2) *** metal vacancy engineering,the activity of the catalyst was 7.4 times,reaching an outstanding rate of 841.32μmol g(-1)h^(-1).This work unveils the mechanism of metal vacancies in CO_(2) photoreduction and provides theoretical guidance for the development of novel CO_(2) photoreduction catalysts.

Background： Brucella is a zoonotic Gram-negative pathogen that causes abortion and infertility in ruminants and humans. TLR4 is the receptor for LPS which can recognize Brucella and initiate antigen-presenting cell activities that affect both innate and adaptive immunity. Consequently, transgenic sheep over-expressing TLR4 are an suitable model to investigate the effects of TLR4 on preventing Brucellosis. In this study, we generated transgenic sheep overexpressing TLR4 and aimed to evaluate the effects of different seasons（breeding and non-breeding season） on superovulation and the imported exogenous gene on ***： In total of 43 donor ewes and 166 recipient ewes in breeding season, 37 donor ewes and 144 recipient ewes in non-breeding season were selected for super-ovulation and injected embryo transfer to generate transgenic *** results indicated the no. of embryos recovered of donors and the rate of pronuclear embryos did not show any significant difference between breeding and non-breeding seasons（P 〉 0.05）. The positive rate of exogenous TLR4 tested were 21.21 % and 22.58 % in breeding and non-breeding season by Southern blot. The expression level of TLR4 in the transgenic sheep was 1.5 times higher than in the non-transgenic group（P 〈 0.05）. The lambs overexpressing TLR4 had similar growth performance with non-transgenic lambs, and the blood physiological parameters of transgenic and non-transgenic were both in the normal range and did not show any ***： Here we establish an efficient platform for the production of transgenic sheep by the microinjection of pronuclear embryos during the whole year. The over-expression of TLR4 had no adverse effect on the growth of the sheep.

The vaccine-induced innate immune response is essential for the generation of an antibody *** date,how Ad5-vectored vaccines are influenced by preexisting anti-Ad5 antibodies during activation of the early immune response remains ***,we investigated the specific alterations in GP1,2-specific IgG-related elements of the early immune response at the genetic,molecular,and cellular levels on days 0,1,3,and 7 after Ad5-EBOV *** a causal multiomics analysis,distinct early immune responses associated with GP1,2-specific IgG were observed in Ad5-EBOV recipients with a low level of preexisting anti-Ad5 *** study revealed the correlates of the Ad5-EBOV-induced IgG response and provided mechanistic evidence for overcoming preexisting Ad5 immunity during the administration of Ad5-vectored vaccines.

Objective: To estimate the safety and efficacy of transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE) in the treatment of refractory hematuria of prostatic origin(RHPO).Methods: This retrospective study included 23 patients who underwent TAE for RHPO between May 2013 and August 2021. Technical and clinical success rates were calculated, and arteriogram findings and complications were ***: Embolization was performed 24 times in 23 patients. Technical success was achieved in 24/24(100%)embolization procedures. Contrast agent extravasation was detected during 2 of the 24 angiographic *** embolization was performed in 23(95.8%) of the 24 procedures. The clinical success rate was 21/23(91.3%), and hematuria stopped 1–4 days after TAE. No serious complications were ***: TAE is a safe and effective minimally invasive technique for treating patients with RHPO.

Double-layer high-contrast subwavelength gratings that are separated by a dielectric space layer are investigated to achieve ultra-broadband *** reflection phase of subwavelength gratings and the propagation phase shift between two gratings are manipulated to expand reflection bandwidth by properly stacking two reflective gratings.A reflector exhibiting a 99%reflectance bandwidth of^1080 nm in the near-infrared is *** this reflector is prepared using laser interference lithography and ion beam planarization,and an ultra-broadband reflection is achieved with reflectance exceeding 97%over a wavelength range of 955 nm in the near-infrared region.
