Here we report a novel generation/collection operation mode of scanning electrochemical microscopy,in which a theta micropipette was employed to support two adjacent water/1,2-dichloroethane interfaces separated by the thin central glass wall：one acts as the generator while the other as the *** generation current,collection current and collection efficiency were enhanced significantly when the tip approached to an insulate substrate.

Studies on periodic porosity and related properties and functions have been limited to insoluble solid-state materials. Self-assembly provides a straightforward and efficient strategy for the construction of soluble periodic porous supramolecular organic frameworks(SOFs) in water from rationally designed molecular building blocks. From rigid tri-and tetra-armed building blocks and cucurbitu[8]ril(CB[8]), a number of two-dimensional(2D) honeycomb, square and rhombic SOFs can be generated, which is driven by CB[8]-encapsulation-enhanced dimerization of two aromatic units on the periphery of the multi-armed molecules. By utilizing the same three-component host-guest motif as the driving force, three-dimensional(3D) diamondoid and cubic SOFs can be obtained from tetrahedral and [Ru(bipy)]-derived octahedral monomers and CB[8]. All of the 2D and 3D periodic frameworks are soluble in water, and are able to maintain the periodicity as well as the pore sizes in the solid state. 3D SOFs are highly efficient homogeneous polycationic frameworks for reversible adsorption of anionic species including organic dyes,peptides, nucleic acids, drugs, dendrimers and Wells-Dawson-typed polyoxametallates(WD-POMs).WD-POM molecules adsorbed in the [Ru(bipy)]-based SOF can catalyse the reduction of proton to Hupon visible-light sensitization of [Ru(bipy)], which allows multiple electron transfer from[Ru(bipy)]to WD-POM. This review summarizes the design, formation and characterization of this new family of self-assembled frameworks, highlights their applications as homogeneous porous materials and finally outlines some future research directions.

A Simple Method for Isolating Chloroplast DNA and Mitochondria DNA from the Same Rapeseed Green Leaf Tissue

In the study, we present a fast, simple and inexpensive protocol for isolating chloroplast and mitochondrial DNA from one rapeseed leaf tissue sample. The chloroplast and mitochondria were separated from the same green leaf tissue by differential centrifugations. The protocol is the first report that isolates plant chloroplast DNA （cpDNA） and mitochondrial DNA （mtDNA） from the same sample homogenate. The organelle DNA yield is 2-10 micrograms per gram of tissue; the DNA was fully restrictable and was successfully used for sequencing.

Bardet-Biedl syndrome(BBS) is a genetically heterogeneous disorder characterized by retinal dystrophy, polydactyly, obesity,developmental delay, and renal defects. At least 21 candidate BBS-associated genes(BBS1-19, NPHP1, and IFT172) have previously been identified, and all of them play important roles in ciliary function. Here, we collected a BBS pedigree with four members and performed whole-exome sequencing on the proband. The variants were analyzed and evaluated to confirm their pathogenicity. We found compound heterozygous variants(c.1192C>T, p.Q398* and c.1175C>T, p.T392M) in MKKS in both the siblings, and these were likely to be pathogenic variants. We also found a missense variant(c.2029G>C, p.E677Q) in NPHP1 and a missense variant(c.2470C>T, p.R824C) in BBS9 in the proband only, which are variants of uncertain significance. The compound heterozygous variants were probably responsible for the BBS phenotype in this Chinese pedigree and the missense mutations in NPHP1 and BBS9 might contribute to the mutation load.

Hydraulic loss and vorticity are two most common methods in analyzing the flow characteristics in hydro-machine,i.e.,centrifugal pump,Francis turbine,*** the relationship and correlation between hydraulic loss and vortex evolution are not uncovered *** this study,hydraulic loss is regarded as the combination of dissipation effect and transportation effect in flow ***,vorticityωcan be decomposed into two parts,namely the Liutex partω_(R),the shear partωs,of whichω_(R)is regarded as the third-generation vortex identification method for its precise and rigorous definition of local rigid rotation part of *** on the dimensional analysis,two new physical quantities related to vorticity(ω,ω_(R)andωS),namely enstrophyΩ,vorticity transport intensity T are adopted to express the energy characteristic in vortex evolution ***,operating points at pump mode of an ultra-high head reversible pump-turbine are selected as the research object and the numerical results calculated using SST k-ωturbulence model are consistent well with the experimental *** correlation coefficient is adopted to evaluate the correlation between hydraulic loss and vortex evolution in main flow *** show that apart from the spiral casing domain,the enstrophy of shear partΩs has very strong correlation with dissipation effect and Liutex transport intensity TR has stronger correlation with transportation effect when compared with other forms of *** correlation between Liutex transport intensity TR and transportation effect is strong in stay/guide vanes(SGVs)while reduce to medium level in runner and draft tube *** spiral casing domain,all forms of vorticity show weak or very weak correlation with transportation *** on the proposed method,we believe that the relationship and correlation between hydraulic loss and vortex evolution in other hydraulic machineries can also be clearly investigated.

AIM:To characterise expression of interleukin 6(IL-6),a potent proinflammatory cytokine,in the occurrence and development of inflammatory bowel disease(IBD) and investigate its effect on neuroimmunomodulation and immune homeostasis ***:In this study,rats with colitis induced by trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid(TNBS) were sacrificed on days 3,7,14,21 and 28 after *** the controls,the TNBS was just replaced by equivalent amount of phosphate buffered solution(PBS,0.01 mol/L).IL-6 mRNA expression in brain and colon tissues in each phase was evaluated by real-time reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction,and cellular localisation and protein level of IL-6 was determined by ***:At day 7,mRNA expression of IL-6 was significantly higher in the colon and brain of IBD rats than that of the *** protein level was also significantly higher in colon,hypothalamus and cerebral cortex of IBD rats compared with the *** there are similar temporal trends in IL-6 mRNA expression and protein levels in all positions with a persistent increase to a peak at day 7,followed by a decline and gradual return to normal ***:These results revealed that changes in IL-6 expression in brain and colon tissues occur in different phases of ***,we propose that the nerve centre regulates and controls the occurrence and development of IBD via IL-6.

A large loss occurs in the combine harvesting of rapeseeds due to the fragility of rapeseed pods,and all the more so with the vibration of the combine header and the collision between the header and *** loss is greatly affected by the biomechanical properties of ready-to-harvest rapeseed *** understand the mechanism of pod cracking and seed loss and to propose measures for alleviating them,it is needed to study the biomechanical properties of ready-to-harvest rapeseed *** this end,“Huayouza 62”,a widely planted rapeseed variety in central China,was selected to study the biomechanical properties,including pod-cracking resistance,main stem-shearing resistance and resonant frequencies,of whole *** results showed that the distribution of pod-cracking resistance forces was 1.333–6.100 N in the mature stage,and the pod width and thickness had a significant influence on the cracking *** main influencing factor of the main stem-shearing resistance was the stem diameter.A thicker main stem resulted in a larger shearing resistance force but a smaller shear *** moisture contents of the main stems varied from 47.71%to 76.13%.However,the varying moisture contents did not show a significant impact on the shearing *** resonant frequencies of whole rapeseed plants ready for harvest ranged from 6.5 Hz to 7.5 Hz,which was close to the excitation frequency of the cutter bar on the 4LL-1.5Y *** study lays a foundation for improving the design and construction of harvesting devices for rapeseed plants to reduce seed loss.

A series of La-Cu-Zn-O mixed oxide catalysts were synthesized by a co-precipitation method and calcined under different temperatures. The XRD, BET, TPR, N2 O-adsorption, XPS, SEM and TPD techniques were carried out to measure the aimed catalysts. The results indicated that the chemical environment of lanthanum element changes with the increase of calcination temperature. The La2 CuO4 perovskite structure is obtained at the temperature higher than 823 K and the special copper species appear in the perovskites due to the special structure property. The catalysts with La2 CuO4 perovskite structure show higher methanol selectivity compared with the mixed copper catalyst. For the perovskite catalysts, the conversion of CO2 changes with the same tendency of the copper species ratio（（Cu^（α＋）＋Cu^0）/（Cu（Total））%）, which implied both Cu^（α＋） and Cu^0 are important active sites in the perovskite catalyst for the reaction.

Self-assembled In_(x)Ga_(l-x)As quantum dots(QDs)on(311)and(100)GaAs surfaces have been grown by conventional solid source molecular beam *** ordering alignment of In_(x)Ga_(l-x)As QDs with lower In content around 0.3 has been observed on As-terminated(B type)*** direction of alignment orientation of the QDs formation differs from the direction of misorientation of the(311)B surface,and is strongly dependent upon the In content *** ordering alignment becomes significantly deteriorated as the In content is increased to above 0.5 or as the QDs are formed on(100)and(311)Ga-terminated(A type)substrates.
