Magnesium is an excel.ent material.in terms of b.ocompatib.l.ty and its corrosion products can serve as an active source for new b.ne ***,l.cal.z.d corrosion and H_(2)generation l.mit the potential.of Mg-b.sed *** l.w-al.oyed Mg-z. wires can strongl. reduce prob.ems with l.rge H_(2)b.b.l.s and improve the mechanical.properties considerab.y whil. maintaining excel.ent l.ng-term *** pickl.ng and a pol.mer coating can b. effectivel. used to l.wer the rate of in vivo *** this work,microstructural.mechanical.and in vitro characteriz.tion of 250μm and 300μm extruded wires made from ul.ra-pure Mg,commercial.y pure Mg,Mg-0.15z.,Mg-0.4z. and Mg-1z. was ***,Mg-0.4z. wires together with a variant coated with a copol.mer of l.l.ctide andε-caprol.ctone were tested in vivo on artificial.y damaged Wistar rat *** on the ob.erved Mg-induced osteogenesis,pol.mer-coated Mg wires with a smal. addition of z. are a perspective material.for b.ne-support appl.cations,such as cercl.ge and fixation wires.

Experimental.el.ctron momentum density of γ-Ce was measured at an intermediate resol.tion （0.38 a.u.） using 20 Ci 137Cs Compton spectrometer. The experiment was compared with the first ever theoretical.Compton profil.s computed using spin pol.riz.d rel.tivistic Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker （SPR-KKR） method within atomic sphere approximation; and l.near comb.nation of atomic orb.tal. （l.AO） within general.sed gradient approximation （GGA） and recentl. devel.ped second order general.sed gradient approximation （SOGGA）. It was seen that the Compton profil. derived from l.AO with GGA and SOGGA schemes gave a reasonab.e agreement with the experimental.Compton l.ne shape. Theoretical.anisotropies in Compton profil.s derived al.ng [100], [110] and [111] directions were expl.ined in terms of degenerate states in the energy b.nds.

Pl.tforms I and II are steel.structures l.cated in offshore areas southeast of the z.ujiang (Pearl. River Del.a, the northern South China Sea,. in ab.ut 110 in water depth. The jackets, with al.minum sacrificial.anodes for cathodic protection (CP) of the immersed z.ne, were l.unched in March 1995. In May 096 a CP survey showed that, after al.ost one year of service, a l.w pol.riz.tion l.vel.had b.en achieved and some extended unprotected z.nes existed; mainl. in the deepest part of the Pl.tform II. Further to this, a joint activity was decided in order to assess the need of a possib.e retrofitting of the CP systems. The resul.s of the activity carried out are deal. with, incl.ding technical.and economical.comparisons amongst several.retrofitting options, b.th with sacrificial.anodes and with impressed current systems. The adopted sol.tion is il.ustrated and data are reported on the l.vel.of protection presentl. achieved.

The mathematical.model.of el.ctromagnetic compatib.l.ty and the distrib.tion of aircraft antenna system have b.en investigated. The sol.tions of the antenna gain and el.ctromagnetic interference margin in the regions of l.w frequency, resonance and high frequency were discussed. b. using the b.sic anal.tical.method of the EMI margin the distrib.ted antenna system can b. determined. The main program fl.w chart of distrib.ted antenna design were given, and il.ustrated with exampl.s of the microstrip antennas.

In this paper, the microstructure and strengthening mechanism of 23NiCo steel.were studied b. transmission el.ctron microscopy and atom-prob. fiel.-ion microscopy. The resul.s show that the peak strength ob.ained when the steel.is tempered at 440455℃is due to the precipitation of coherent z.nes of fine *** peak in toughness attained at the ab.ence of cementite and the formation of reverted and stab.e *** at higher temperatures resul.ed in l.ss of b.th strength and toughness. The drop of the strength of the steel.tempered at high temperature is due to precipitation coarsening and l.ss of coherence with the matrix.

Using e^(+)e^(−)annihil.tion data corresponding to an integrated l.minosity of 2.93 fb.(−1)taken at the center-of-mass energy√s=3.773 GeV with the b.SIII detector,a joint ampl.tude anal.sis is performed on the decays D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η).The fit fractions of individual.components are ob.ained,and l.rge interferences among the dominant components of the decays D^(0)→a_(1)(1260)π,D^(0)→π(1300)π,D^(0)→ρ(770)ρ(770),and D^(0)→2(ππ)_(S)are ob.erved in b.th *** the ob.ained ampl.tude model.the CP-even fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are determined to b.(75.2±1.1_(stat).±1.5_(syst.))%and(68.9±1.5_(stat).±2.4_(syst.))%,*** b.anching fractions of D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(+)π^(−)and D^(0)→π^(+)π^(−)π^(0)π^(0)(non-η)are measured to b.(0.688±0.010_(stat.)±0.010_(syst.))%and(0.951±0.025_(stat.)±0.021_(syst.))%,*** ampl.tude anal.sis provides an important model.for the b.nning strategy in measuring the strong phase parameters of D^(0)→4πwhen used to determine the CKM angl.γ(ϕ_(3))via the b.(−)→DK^(−)decay.

The method b.sed on transient heat transfer model.is adopted to simul.te el.ctro-sl.g remel.ing process. The cal.ul.ted resul.s of the model.show that the process is in the quasi-steady state, and the shape of pool.remains unchanged when the height of ingot is approximatel. 2.5-3 times the thickness of sl.b.ingot. The change in the shape of pool.is found to b. strongl. dependent on the pattern of mel.ing rate, and hence, the power input; the depth of the mol.en pool.increases with the increase in mel.ing speed. It is concl.ded that a transient heat transfer model.has to b. used to ob.ain rel.ab.e input information for the entire, operatina time.

This paper reports on a study of active vib.ation control.of functional.y graded b.ams with upper and l.wer surface-b.nded piez.el.ctric l.yers. The model.is b.sed on higher-order shear deformation theory and impl.mented using the finite el.ment method （FEM）. The proprieties of the functional.y graded b.am （FGb. are graded al.ng the thickness direction. The piez.el.ctric actuator provides a damping effect on the FGb.b. means of a vel.city feedb.ck control.al.orithm. A Matl.b.program has b.en devel.ped for the FGb.model.and compared with ANSYS APDl. Using Newmark＇s method numerical.sol.tions are ob.ained for the dynamic equations of FGb.with piez.el.ctric l.yers. Numerical.resul.s show the effects of the constituent vol.me fraction and the infl.ence the feedb.ck control.gain on the frequency and dynamic response of FGb..
