Lignocellulosic fraction-induced niche differentiation within dissimilatory iron reducing bacterial groups in a paddy soil

Responses of soil DIRB to lignocellulosic fractions during a 6-week microcosm incubation were investigated.Anaeromyxobacter,Bacillus,and Clostridium maintained their domi-nance throughout the incubation.Distinct DIRB groups proliferated under specific lignocellulosic fraction amendments.Limits of insufficient ferric iron on the proliferation varied by DIRB group.Dissimilatory iron reducing bacteria(DIRB)are phylogenetically and physi-ologically diverse in paddy soils,where iron reduction closely couples with the oxidation of rice straw-derived carbon in the straw returning scenarios.However,few studies have addressed the niche differentiation within DIRB groups during the degradation of lignocellulosic fractions of rice straw.This study conducted a 6-week microcosm incubation experiment to reveal the distinct responses of DIRB groups under specific lignocellulosic fraction amendments with and without ferrihydrite(Fh)addition in a flooded paddy Ultisol.Results showed that the total absolute abundance of the 19 detected DIRB groups did not vary significantly during the incubation.Anaeromyxobacter,Bacillus,and Clostridium were the dominant DIRB groups for all lignocellulosic treatments whereas Thermincola was dominant but only under xylan amendment with Fh addition.DIRB-nodes in the co-occurrence networks of bacterial community mainly belonged to Anaeromyxobacter and Bacillus.Clostridium and Thermincola,Alkaliphilus and Anaeromyxobacter,and Alicyclobacillus,Desulfobulbus,and Desulfosporosinus were specifically proliferated under xylan,cellulose,and lignin amendments,respectively.Whether the proliferation was limited by insufficient ferric iron varied by bacterial group.These findings suggested the lignocellulosic fraction-induced niche differentiation within DIRB groups,which advanced our understanding of the ecology of DIRB in paddy soils under straw returning.

With the development of photovoltaic materials, especially the small molecule acceptors(SMAs), organic solar cells(OSCs)have made breakthroughs in power conversion efficiencies(PCEs). However, the stability of high-performance OSCs remains a critical challenge for future technological applications. To tackle the inherent instability of SMA materials under the ambient conditions, much effort has been made to improve OSCs stability, including device modification and new materials design. Here we proposed a new electron acceptor design strategy and developed a “quasi-macromolecule”(QM) with an A-π-A structure,where the functionalized π-bridge is used as a linker between two SMAs(A), to improve the long-term stability without deteriorating device efficiencies. Such type of QMs enables excellent synthetic flexibility to modulate their optical/electrochemical properties, crystallization and aggregation behaviors by changing the A and π units. Moreover, QMs possess a unique long conjugated backbone combining high molecular weight over 3.5 k Da with high purity. Compared with the corresponding SMA BTP-4F-OD(Y6-OD), the devices based on newly synthesized A-π-A type acceptors QM1 and QM2 could exhibit better device stability and more promising PCEs of 17.05% and 16.36%, respectively. This kind of “molecular-framework”(A-π-A)structure provides a new design strategy for developing high-efficiency and-stability photovoltaic materials.

The incorporation of heavy atoms into molecular backbone is an extremely straightforward strategy for fine-tuning the optoelectronic properties of organic semiconductors.However,it is rarely studied in n-type small molecules.Herein,by selenium substitution of NDI3 hu-DTYM2,two Se-decorated core-expanded naphthalene diimides(NDI)derivatives DTYM-NDI3 huDSYM(1)and NDI3 hu-DSYM2(2)were synthesized.In comparison with the reference S-containing compound NDI3 huDTYM2,the highest occupied molecular orbital(HOMO)and lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)energy levels of 1 and 2 were fine-tuned with?HOMO of about 0.2 e V,?LUMO of 0.1 e V and the narrowed HOMO-LUMO gaps.More surprisingly,the as-spun organic thin film transistors(OTFTs)based on 1 and 2 both showedμe,satvalues as high as1.0 cm2 V-1 s-1,which are 2-fold higher than that of NDI3 hu-DTYM2 with the same device structure and measurement conditions.In addition,the single crystal OFET devices based on Se-containing compound NDI2 BO-DSYM2 showed a highμe,satvalue of 1.30 cm2 V-1 s-1.The molecular packing of NDI2 BO-DSYM2 in single crystals(two-dimensional supramolecular structure formed by intermolecular Se···Se interactions)is quite different from that of a S-containing compound NDI-DTYM2(one dimensional supramolecular structure formed by intermolecularπ-πstacking).Therefore,the Se substitution can cause dramatic change about molecular stacking model,giving rise to high n-type OTFT performance.Our results demonstrated an effective strategy of the heavy atom effect for designing novel organic semiconductors.

The versatility and flexibility of organic photoelectric materials endow organic photovoltaic cells fine function modulation and huge commercial potential. In this work, a new noncovalent fused-ring small molecule acceptor(SMA) BID-4 F has been synthesized for high-efficient organic solar cells(OSCs). BID-4 F consists of a diflurobenzothiadiazole(DFBT) core, ladder-like indacenodithiophene(IDT) spacers, and dicyanoindanone electron-withdrawing end groups, which are supposed to be conformationally interlocked by noncovalent interactions, leading to good molecular planarity. In addition, compact solid state stacking was revealed by UV–vis–NIR absorption spectrum. The optimized PM6:BID-4 F based device delivers an eminent power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 12.30% with a high open-circuit voltage(Voc) of 0.92 V and a high fill factor(FF) of 74.3%. Most importantly, the PCE and FF are among one of the highest values reported for the OSCs based on the unfused-ring SMAs. Overall, our work demonstrates that the unfused ring central framework with high molecular planarity through noncovalent interactions provides a good strategy to construct highly efficient SMAs.

Differential response of multiple zebrafish hepatic F-box protein genes to 17α-ethinylestradiol treatment

Estrogens are accumulating in environment and their effects on a variety of reproductive processes and tumorigenesis were reported by previous study, but the mechanism of estrogen promoting neoplasia was still not clear. F-box protein （FBP） is the component of E3 ubiquitin ligase which takes part in a variety of key biological processes. In this study, using mature male zebrafish, which are more sensitive to estrogen treatment, we examined influence of 17α-ethinylestradiol （EE2） exposure on the expression of a series of hepatic FBP genes, which take part in a variety of biological processes, including tumorigenesis. The influence of EE2 on the expression of hepatic mRNA concentrations of FBP genes were quantified based on the expression of the optimal internal control gene in male zebrafish after 7-day exposure to EE2, from a low-dose concentration （1 ng/L） to environmentally relevant concentrations （10, 100 ng/L）. Our results showed that EE2 exposure reduced the expression of fbxl14a, fbxl14b, fbxo25 and β-TRCP2b, but enchanced the expression of skp2. While the alterations in fbxl2, fbxw7, fbxo9, β-TRCP2a, fbxl18 and fbxo45 mRNA levels were not observed after EE2 exposure. Thus, our results showed that the expression of hepatic FBP genes exhibited differentially in male zebrafish exposed EE2. The changes of the expression level of FBP genes induced by EE2 may be an important clue to elucidate the correlations of estrogen and hepatic tumors.

Preparation and Anti-ultraviolet Aging Performance of Organic Layered Double Hydroxides/Bitumen Composites

Layered double hydroxides(LDHs) with the physical property of high ultraviolet(UV)reflectance were used to enhance the anti-UV aging performance of bitumen. In view of the poor compatibility of LDHs with bitumen, three organic anions, namely, sodium dodecyl benzenesulfonate(SDBS), sodium dodecyl sulfate(SDS) and sodium dodecyl sulfonate(SDSO), were used as modifiers to prepare organic LDHs(OCLDHs) through regeneration process, and the crystal structure, chemical composition, morphological feature and UV shielding capability of synthesized OCLDHs were analyzed. Then the OCLDHs were added into bitumen to evaluate the storage stability and anti-UV aging property of OCLDHs/bitumen composites.The results show that the organic anions are inserted into the interlayers of LDHs, the intercalation expands the interlayer distance of LDHs, makes the particle shapes become more irregular and complicated, and enhances the absorption ability within the range from 200 to 300 nm while has little influence on the UV reflection ability.Result of high temperature storage stability indicates the organic modification ameliorates the compatibility of LDHs with bitumen. Compared with LDHs, OCLDHs decrease the deteriorations of bitumen’s properties during UV exposure test, exhibiting better effect in enhancing anti-UV aging performance of bitumen. Furthermore,among the three OCLDHs, LDHs intercalated by SDBS exhibit the most effective improvement due to the best compatibility with bitumen and comparatively good UV shielding effect.

提出了一种缓冲器阻抗动态调整的LDO结构。采用并联负反馈和阻抗动态调整技术,显著降低了缓冲级的输出阻抗,没有增加额外的静态电流,功率管栅极极点始终远在单位增益带宽之外,对稳定性没有影响。该缓冲级增大了功率管栅极的摆率,提高了LDO瞬态响应性能。基于TSMC 0.18μm 3.3VCMOS工艺进行设计,该LDO的输出电压为1.8V,压差电压为0.2V,最大输出电流为100mA。仿真结果显示,LDO的静态电流只有5μA,当负载电流在10ns内从0mA跳变到100mA时,输出欠冲和过冲电压分别为88.2mV和34.8mV。

基于55nm CMOS工艺,设计了一种宽频带高速锁相环(PLL)。PLL中的压控振荡器(VCO)采用8位开关电容阵列和变容管阵列,实现了对VCO振荡频率的调节和不同频段之间的切换。VCO采用分段式结构,实现了8.7~12.5GHz的宽频率范围。分段结构中,每个频段的频率增益K_(vco)较低,实现了良好的相位噪声性能。仿真结果表明,在1.2V电源电压下,该PLL的最高工作频率为12.5GHz,锁定时间为小于2.5μs,相位噪声为-106dBc·Hz^(-1)@1 MHz。
