Titanium dioxide (TiO2) thin film was deposited on the surface of the light addressable potentiometric sensor (LAPS) to modify the sensor surface for the non-labeled detection of DNA molecules. To evaluate the effect of ultraviolet (UV) treatment on the silanization level of TiO2 thin film by 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTS),fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) was used to label the amine group on the end of APTS immobilized onto the TiO2 thin film. We found that,with UV irradiation,the silanization level of the irradiated area of the TiO2 film was improved compared with the non-irradiated area under well-controlled conditions. This result indicates that TiO2 can act as a coating material on the biosensor surface to improve the effect and efficiency of the covalent immobilization of biomolecules on the sensor surface. The artificially synthesized probe DNA molecules were covalently linked onto the surface of TiO2 film. The hybridization of probe DNA and target DNA was monitored by the recording of I-V curves that shift along the voltage axis during the process of reaction. A significant LAPS signal can be detected at 10 μmol/L of target DNA sample.

Chemical short-range orders(CSROs),as the built-in sub-nanoscale entities in a high-/medium-entropy alloy(H/MEA),have aroused an ever-increasing *** multi-principal elements in an H/MEA to form a complex concentrated solution,a variety of sub-systems of species exist to induce the metastable ordered compounds as candidates for ultimate *** issues remain pending on the origin of CSROs as to how to judge if CSRO will form in an H/MEA and particularly,what kind of CSROs would be stably produced if there were multiple ***,the first-principles method,along with the proposed local formation energy calculation in allusion to the atomic-scale chemical heterogeneities,is used to predict the CSRO formation based on the mechanical stability,thermodynamic formation energy,and electronic *** simulations are detailed in an equiatomic ternary VCoNi MEA with three kinds of potential compounds,i.e.,L1_(1),L1_(2),and B2,in the face-centered cubic *** turns out that L1_(1)is stable but hard to grow up so as to become the final CSRO.L1_(1)is further predicted as CSROs in CrCoNi,but unable to form in FeCoNi and CrMnFeCoNi *** predictions are consistent with the experimental *** findings shed light on understanding the formation of *** method is applicable to other H/MEAs to design and tailor CSROs by tuning chemical species/contents and thermal processing for high performance.

Marking the end of the five-year programme initiated by the Chinese Government to lift more than 70 million people out of poverty,the year 2020 is a *** alleviation has moved strongly forward in China and the major health indicators are now better than the average of all middle-and high-income ***,the dual burden of infectious and chronic diseases remains a challenge with respect to achieving the health target in the United Nations 2030 Agenda for sustainable development goals(SDGs).In 2015,about 44%of the poor population in China were impoverished by illness but already in 2018,multi-sectoral actions delivered by the Health-related Poverty Alleviation programme had reduced the number almost by *** the past three years 15 million poor people(98%of the poor population)with infectious and chronic diseases had been treated and taken care of thanks to financial support through multiple health insurance schemes and other governmental *** article discusses the lessons learnt with regard to health-related poverty alleviation in China with special reference to those still remaining impoverished by *** of the achievements reached and provision of basic needs to those still disadvantaged and in poor health will require a major improvement of accessibility to,and affordability of,health *** next step towards enhanced productivity and better living conditions will involve upgrading of the capacity of health professionals in the poor regions,promotion of coherent efforts in health-related poverty alleviation and rural revitalization *** an additional measure,data monitoring and research on health poverty alleviation should be strengthened as they are essential to generate the evidence and knowledge needed to support the move in the direction envisioned by the SDGs,and the new Healthy China 2030 programme.

Holographic optical elements(HOEs)based on polymer composites have become a research hot spot in recent years for augmented reality(AR)due to the significant improvement of optical performance,dynamic range,ease of processing and high yield ***,it remains a formidable challenge to obtain a large field of view(FOV)and brightness due to the limited refractive index ***,we report an effective method to tackle the challenge by doping an epoxy liquid crystal termed E6M,which enables a large refractive index modulation of 0.050@633 nm and low haze of 5.0%at a doping concentration of 5 wt%.This achievement may be ascribed to the improved molecular ordering of liquid crystals within the holographic polymer *** high refractive index modulation can endow transmission-type holographic polymer composites with a high diffraction efficiency of 96.2%at a small thickness of 5μm,which would promise the design of thin and lightweight AR devices.

A sensitive and selective method has been developed for the detection of free ethacrynic acid in human urine. Using 4-(bromomethyl)-7-methoxycoumarin, ethacrynic acid was transformed into a fluorescent derivative, and was analysed by HPLC-fluorescence detector. The detection limit is 0.1ug/ml urine. The method is suitable for screening ethacrynic acid in doping control and studying its metabolism.

High-pressure capacity expansion and water injection mechanism and indicator curve model for fractured-vuggy carbonate reservoirs

Water injection for oil displacement is one of the most effective ways to develop fractured-vuggy carbonate reservoirs. With the increase in the number of rounds of water injection, the development effect gradually fails. The emergence of high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection technology allows increased production from old wells. Although high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection technology has been implemented in practice for nearly 10 years in fractured-vuggy reservoirs, its mechanism remains unclear, and the water injection curve is not apparent. In the past, evaluating its effect could only be done by measuring the injection-production volume. In this study, we analyze the mechanism of high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection. We propose a fluid exchange index for high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection and establish a discrete model suitable for high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection curves in fractured-vuggy reservoirs. We propose the following mechanisms: replenishing energy, increasing energy, replacing energy, and releasing energy. The above mechanisms can be identified by the high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection curve of the well HA6X in the Halahatang Oilfield in the Tarim Basin. By solving the basic model, the relative errors of Reservoirs I and II are found to be 1.9% and 1.5%, respectively, and the application of field examples demonstrates that our proposed high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection indicator curve is reasonable and reliable. This research can provide theoretical support for high-pressure capacity expansion and water injection technology in fracture-vuggy carbonate reservoirs.

AIM： To investigate the incidence and mortality of gastric cancer （GC） in Zhuanghe region, northeast China and the influencing factors for their changing trends.METHODS： All new cancer cases and deaths registered from 2005 to 2010 in Zhuanghe County were reviewed. The annual GC cases, constituent ratio, crude rates,age-standardized rates, their sex and age distribution and temporal trends were assessed. The method of annual percentage change （APC） was used to estimate the trends of GC.RESULTS： Altogether 2634 new cases of GC and 1722 related deaths were registered, which accounted for 21.04% and 19.13% of all cancer-related incidence and deaths, respectively. The age-standardized incidence rate steadily decreased from 57.48 in 2005 to 44.53 in 2010 per 10^5 males, and from 18.13 to 14.70 per 10s females, resulting in a APC of -5.81% for males and -2.89% for females over the entire period. The magnitude of APC in GC mortality amounted to -11.09% and -15.23%, respectively, as the agestandardized mortality rate steadily decreased from 42.08 in 2005 to 23.71 in 2010 per 10^5 males, and from 23.86 to 10.78 per 10^5 females. Females had a significantly lower incidence （a male/female ratio 2.80, P 〈 0.001） and mortality （a male/female ratio 2.30, P 〈 0.001）. In both genders, the peak incidence and mortality occurred in the 80-84 years age group. The age-standardized mortality/incidence ratio also decreased from the peak of 0.73 in 2005 to 0.53 in 2010 for males, and from 1.32 to 0.73 for females.CONCLUSION： Encouraging declines of incidence and mortality of GC were observed in Zhuanghe region between 2005 and 2010, possibly due to the economic development and efficient GC control strategies.

Since the appearance of Rochelle salt, ferroelectrics have received extensive attention from researchers due to they are playing an important role in sensors, memories, mechanical actuation, and so on. In recent years, with the rapid development of molecular ferroelectrics, high-performance molecular ferroelectrics have become effective complement to inorganic ferroelectrics. However, compared with inorganic ferroelectrics, the family of molecular ferroelectrics is relatively scarce, and exploring highperformance ferroelectric materials through new synthesis strategies has become the trend of molecular ferroelectrics. Here, we successfully transformed non-polar material 1（2-H2PCA）2（H2O）CdCl6（2-H2PCA = 2-picolylamine cation） into polar material 2（2-H2PCA）2CdCl6by single-crystal to single-crystal transformation（SCSCT）. Meanwhile, 2 exhibits clear ferroelectricity with a high-temperature Tcof 378 K,a Psof 1.18 μC/cm2at 300 K. This work not only realizes the purpose of synthesizing ferroelectrics by forming polar structures by SCSCT, but also realizes the reversibility of SCSCT, which provides ideas for the construction and exploration of new molecular ferroelectrics.
