Impact of Media Information on Social Response in Disasters:A Case Study of the Freezing‑Rain and Snowstorm Disasters in Southern China in 2008

Disaster information content is an objective mapping of disaster situations,social response,and public *** response to emergency is an important mechanism for implementing and guaranteeing emergency management of major natural hazard-related *** how disaster information content affects social response to emergencies is helpful for managing risk communication and efficient disaster *** on the 2008 freezing-rain and snowstorm disasters in southern China,this study used Python to extract 7,857 case-related media reports and applied natural language processing for text *** used three typical cases to identify and analyze disaster media report content and the relationship between these reports and the social response to the *** categories of disaster response-such as prewarning and forecasting,announcements by the authorities,and social mobilization-appeared in the disaster information in the media,along with disaster impact information,that is,real-time disaster *** response information and an appropriate amount of disaster impact information played important roles in prewarning,disaster relief,public opinion guidance,and social stability maintenance and can serve important functions in communicating with all stakeholders of emergency management,assisting or influencing emergency departments or individuals in decision making,and eliminating "information islands." Empathy caused the general public to become "disaster responders" through receiving *** and an excess of negative information may have a perverse amplification effect on public opinion and increase the unpredictability of the disaster situation and the risk of social crisis.

Controllable Ring-opening Polymerization ofδ-Valerolactone Catalyzed by Quinolinyl-Urea/MTBD Systems

Bipolar disorder is characterised by recurrent and alternating episodes of mania/hypomania and *** breakthroughs in functional MRI techniques have uncovered the functional neuroanatomy of bipolar ***,the pathophysiology underlying mood instability,mood switching and the development of extreme mood states is less well *** reviewpresents a comprehensive overviewof current evidence from functional MRI studies from the perspective of mood *** first summarise the disrupted brain activation patterns and functional connectivity that have been reported in bipolar disorder,irrespective of the mood *** next focus on research that solely included patients in a single mood state for a better understanding of the pathophysiology of bipolar disorder and research comparing patients with different mood states to dissect mood state-related ***,we briefly summarise current theoretical models and conclude this review by proposing potential avenues for future research.A comprehensive understanding of the pathophysiology with consideration of mood states could not only deepen our understanding of how acute mood episodes develop at a neurophysiological level but could also facilitate the identification of biological targets for personalised treatment and the development of new interventions for bipolar disorder.

Big data technology has become increasingly prevalent in facilitating the delivery of government services and public goods in China and *** article seeks to examine how big data can be leveraged in poverty governance in rural China,and what the political implications *** phenomenon of big data-driven welfare governance is particularly salient considering the broader context of governmental digital transformation,both within China and *** research sheds light on how big data usage functions in poverty alleviation,highlighting general motivations and developments in Chinese data-centric welfare *** importantly,this article introduces the novel concept of"digital cybernetic capacity"to examine public sector modernization as big data transforms the landscape of welfare delivery and *** delving into the intersection between technology and social welfare,we explicate how the use of big data in social welfare policies can go beyond merely improving information capacity to redefine state *** article argues that such a new governance ecosystem,driven as it is by data technologies,not only provides insights about the transformative resilience of Chinese governance but also opens a new theoretical frontier for research into other countries.

Associations between the use of red yeast rice preparations and adverse health outcomes:An umbrella review of meta-analyses of randomized controlled trials

Background:Red yeast rice(RYR),a natural lipid-lowering agent,is widely used in clinical ***,the existing meta-analyses concerning the safety of RYR preparations have yielded inconsistent results,and the credibility of the evidence has not been ***:This study was designed to evaluate the existing evidence and offer a comprehensive understanding of the associations between the use of RYR preparations and various adverse health *** strategy:Seven literature databases were searched from inception to May 5,2023,using medical subject headings and free-text terms(e.g.,“red yeast rice,”“Xuezhikang,”and“Zhibitai”).Inclusion criteria:Meta-analyses that investigated and quantitatively estimated associations between the use of RYR preparations and adverse health outcomes were included in this *** extraction and analysis:Two researchers independently extracted data using a standardized data collection table;any disagreements were resolved by consulting a third *** on the participant,intervention,comparator and outcome(PICO)framework in each eligible meta-analysis,a series of unique associations between the use of RYR preparations and adverse health outcomes were *** associations’effect estimates were re-evaluated using random-effect ***:Fifteen meta-analyses,comprising 186(164 unique)randomized controlled trials,were *** on A Mea surement Tool to Assess Systematic Reviews version 2,3(20%)and 12(80%)of these meta-analyses had low and critically low confidence,respectively.A total of 61 unique associations between the use of RYR preparations and adverse health outcomes were extracted from eligible *** on the random-effect models,10(16.4%)associations indicated a significant protective effect of RYR preparations against adverse health outcomes,while 5(8.2%)indicated an increased risk of adverse health outcomes related to uric acid,alanine transaminase and aspartate trans

科学配备消防装备、提升灾害事故现场风险评估能力是减少消防员伤亡事故的重要手段。为深入剖析火灾环境下“热源服装人体”系统的传热机制,提高服装对消防员的职业防护,该文基于燃烧假人系统和计算流体动力学原理,建立了“火灾环境-防护服-人体”三维传热模型,定量分析了火场热流密度、热暴露时间、服装厚度和服装表面发射率4个因素对人体表面皮肤烧伤比例和分布的作用机制。模拟计算结果表明:服装因素对烧伤比例的影响与处在火灾中心的着装人体表面传热方式和人体皮肤厚度分布相关;消防服设计方面需优化开口结构设计,以降低颈部、小臂和小腿的烧伤比例。

Cyclic Dinucleotide Self-Assembled Nanoparticles as a Carrier-Free Delivery Platform for STING-Mediated Cancer Immunotherapy

Cyclic dinucleotides(CDNs)are natural agonists of the stimulator of interferon genes(STING),which is an attractive immunotherapy ***,CDNs and their derivatives are being investigated ***,the poor bioavailability of exogenous CDNs has limited their application in *** nanocarriers are widely used for cytosolic delivery of CDNs,their loading capacity is insufficient,and their complicated composition and purification process raises bio-compatibility ***,we report a super-simplified CDN self-assembly strategy for carrier-free delivery of *** the presence of excess K^(+),CDNs form oligomers which further self-assemble with divalent metal ions(such as Mn^(2+))to form nanoparticles(NPs)in aqueous *** demonstrate that the self-assembled CDN NPs promote cellular uptake of CDNs and enhance tumor immunogenicity by remodeling the tumor microenvironment,inducing immunogenic tumor cell death and increasing tumorinfiltrating lymphocytes,which is conducive to the generation of tumor neoantigen-specific T-cell *** also demonstrate that the use of CDN NPs alone or in combination with immune checkpoint blockades inhibits tumor growth,highlighting the fact that CDN NPs are a potent platform for cancer immunotherapy.

“双系父权”是一种姻亲、血亲和代际关系三足鼎立的新型家庭权力关系格局。以“并家婚”为表现形式的双系实践日益引起学界普遍关注和讨论,但既有研究对双系代际互动的具体机制及其中的权力关系缺乏系统性分析。基于苏南地区的田野调查研究发现,以“不嫁不娶”、“两头走”、统一亲属称谓、双边继承和赡养、平等冠姓权等为表现形式的双系实践日益普遍,并形成相对稳定的双系代际互动模式。在这种双系代际互动模式中,女方原生家庭在小家庭中的地位和话语权日益凸显。双方父母基于对代际亲密关系的情感诉求、传宗接代的价值诉求以及家庭平等的权利诉求,不断加深对小家庭的干预,从而形塑出“双系父权”格局。“双系父权”格局之下,双系原生家庭为小家庭提供了充足的经济支持和人力支持,这使得年轻夫妻不仅在经济层面上能够维持中产阶层生活,还能够在一定程度上从家庭事务中解放出来,更好地平衡家庭与事业之间的关系,这对于年轻女性而言尤其重要。作为回报,小家庭也不得不让渡一部分权利给双方父母,以此保持代际之间的均衡互惠。“双系父权”的提出突破了父权制理论的父系单系家庭假设,进一步丰富和推动了父权制理论。

基于微博文本数据的灾害信息公众关注分析--以河南暴雨洪涝事件为例

面对未来暴雨洪涝灾害风险挑战,加强关于风险沟通、公众参与的研究,提升风险管理有效性,将有助于减轻风险。社交媒体凭借其强大的信息传播能力,在灾害管理中日益重要。基于从新浪微博“河南暴雨”关键词爬取的微博信息98078条,通过文本提取、统计和共现网络分析公众关注度的变化情况,探究公众对不同灾害信息关注的差异以及关注倾向。研究结果表明:河南暴雨洪涝灾害事件演化过程分为潜伏期、爆发期、持续期和淡化期4个阶段,公众关注度的大小在灾害初期受致灾因子强度的影响,致灾因子达到一定强度并造成严重灾情时,会引起公众广泛而持续的关注。暴雨洪涝自然灾害事件的微博文本主要呈现致灾因子、灾害影响和响应3个主题,本事件根据信息内容可细分为26个类别,公众对不同时期、不同类型的灾害信息的关注热度不同,潜伏期公众最为关注山洪等致灾因子的预警信息,但关注度较低。在爆发期、持续期和淡化期,内涝成为公众最为关注的致灾因子,人员伤亡和交通受阻为公众最为关注的灾害影响,灾民网上求救、捐款捐物和现场救援为公众最为关注的响应行为。本次事件出现人员伤亡、交通受阻、经济损失、能源通讯、生产生活和次生灾害6个凝聚子群,其中人员伤亡、灾民网上求助、现场救援和捐款捐物作为本次暴雨洪涝灾害的核心事件,构成了最核心的“人员伤亡”主题的凝聚子群。研究成果为政府发布灾害信息提供参考和改进建议。
