MicroRNAs （miRNAs） are a class of short non-coding RNA molecules that have attracted tremendous attention from the biological and biomedical research communities over the past decade. With over 1900 miRNAs discovered in humans to date, many of them have already been implicated in common human disorders. Facilitated by high-throughput genomics and bioinformatics in conjunction with traditional molecular biology techniques and animal models, miRNA research is now positioned to make the transition from laboratories to clinics to deliver profound benefits to public health. Herein, we overview the progress of miRNA research related to human diseases, as well as the potential for miRNA to becoming the next generation of diagnostics and therapeutics.

A pool of dormant stages of planktonic organisms in saline lakes is a substantial component in the plankton communities;we need to take it into account to understand plankton *** water bodies in Crimea,the largest peninsula in the Black Sea,constitute a very characteristic and peculiar habitat type in the *** examined the presence of crustacean resting stages in sediments of dried up sites of the Crimean hypersaline *** samples were taken in 9 different *** performed on the hatching of these resting stages showed the presence of Moina salina(Cladocera),parthenogenetic Artemia and Artemia urmiana(Anostraca),Eucypris mareotica( inflata)(Ostracoda),and Cletocamptus retrogressus(Harpacticoida).Comparing the experimental results obtained with clean dried brine shrimp cysts and those kept in sediment samples,it was noted that clean cysts hatched much faster than those from sediments *** components in bottom sediments slow down and desynchronize hatching from resting eggs in different groups of *** sediments of different lakes inhibited the nauplii output from Artemia and ostracod resting eggs to different *** data are needed before we can discuss the reasons of this *** nonsynchronous output of active stages from the bottom resting ones may be an adaptation that allows crustacean species to exist in extreme and unpredictably changing environments,avoiding the risk that all may emerge at once under unsuitable conditions.

This paper reports TiC–（Ni–Cr） metal ceramic alloy（ratio of components 50：50） with nanoscaled components formed in the surface layer and smoothly transformed into the initial inner structure throughout the material under pulsed electron irradiation of the alloy surface. Principal changes in the surface layer are ascribed to the formation of gradient structure leading to the increase in wear resistance of the surface layer, drop of friction coefficient and improvement of specimen bending resistance when stressing on the irradiated surface side. The above changes of tribological and strength properties in the surface layer under pulsed electron irradiation become more apparent with increasing atomic mass of a plasma-forming inert gas.

Solar trough receiver with v-grooved light traps for efficiency improvement

Parabolic trough collector is a promising technology for both domestic and industrial heat supplies. To enhance the collector efficiency, a modified trough receiver with dozens of v-grooved light traps incorporated into its lower-half absorber was introduced. For assessing the performance of this receiver, a solar-thermal-stress coupled model was established. Using this model, firstly, the effects of the v-grooved light traps were investigated. The results reveal that, compared to the conventional trough receiver, the modified trough receivers equipped with different traps can reduce their optical losses by 81.9–138.0 Wm-1（i.e., 15.0%–25.2%）, improving their optical efficiencies by 1.60%–2.69%. However, these traps also result in increased thermal loss from the receiver. Therefore, there is no single optimal modified trough receiver that consistently outperforms all other receivers across all possible conditions. Nonetheless, the MTR30-3 and MTR60-3 receivers emerge as the optimized choices due to their better solar-thermal performance. Subsequently, performance evaluation reveals that the two optimized receivers can enhance the receiver efficiencies within the typical solar irradiance range by 0.02%–2.65% and 0.05%–1.70% when the inlet fluid temperatures are below 488 and 523 K, respectively. Consequently, the collector efficiencies can be improved by 0.02%–2.49% and 0.05%–1.60%, respectively. Additionally, thermal stress analysis verifies that the two optimized receivers remain within safe limits under all typical conditions. Given that the heating temperature of a typical solar collector for domestic or industrial heat supply is typically below 523 K, the integration of the two optimized receivers has the capability to effectively enhance the overall collector efficiency.

Let v be a vertex operator superalgebra and g =（1 2 ···k） be a k-cycle which is viewed as an automorphism of the tensor product vertex operator superalgebra v■*** this paper,we construct an explicit isomorphism from Ag(v■k) to A（v） if k is odd and to Aσ（v） if k is even where σ is the canonical automorphism of v of order 2 determined by the superspace structure of *** recover previous results by Barron（2016）and Barron and vander Werf（2014） that there is a one-to-one correspondence between irreducible g-twisted v■k-modules and irreducible v-modules（*** σ-twisted v-modules） when k is odd（***）.This explicit isomorphism is expected to be useful in our further study on the Zhu algebra of the fixed point subalgebra.

The results of experiments on measuring the energy spectra of alpha particles in reactions with heavy ions are *** measurements were performed using the high-resolution magnetic analyzer MAvR with beams of ^(48)Ca(280 Mev)and ^(56)Fe(320 and 400 Mev)on ^(181)Ta and ^(238)U targets at an angle of 0°.A strong dependence of the double differential cross sections for production of alpha particles on the atomic number of the target nucleus was observed,which indicates that fast alpha particles are mainly emitted from the target nucleus;this conclusion was also confirmed by calculations within the time-dependent Schrödinger equation *** analysis of the obtained experimental data was carried out within the model of moving sources modified to consider the kinematic limits for two-body and three-body exit channels.
