A simple fiber sensor to measure angular displacement with high resolution, which is based on whispering gallery mode （WGM） resonance in bent optical fibers,is proposed. The sensor is composed of a single loop formed by loosely tying a knot using single mode fiber. To measure the transmission spectra, a tunable laser and an optic power meter are connected to the two ends of fi- ber loop, respectively. Significant WGM resonances occur over the investigated wavelength range for all the sensors with different bend radius. The angular-displacement sensitivity is studied in the range from -0. 1°to 0. 1°. The detection limit of 1.49 × 10 ^-7 rad can be achieved for the detecting system with the resolution of lpm. The simple loop-structure fiber sensor has potential application prospect in the field of architecture or bridge building with low detection limit and low cost.

Cancer stem cells(CSCs)comprise a subpopulation of cancer cells with stem cell properties,which exhibit the characteristics of high tumorigenicity,self-renewal,and tumor initiation and are associated with the occurrence,metastasis,therapy resistance,and relapse of *** with differentiated cells,CSCs have unique metabolic characteristics,and metabolic reprogramming contributes to the self-renewal and maintenance of stem *** has been reported that CSCs are highly dependent on lipid metabolism to maintain stemness and satisfy the requirements of biosynthesis and energy *** this review,we demonstrate that lipid anabolism alterations promote the survival of CSCs,including de novo lipogenesis,lipid desaturation,and cholesterol *** addition,we also emphasize the molecular mechanism underlying the relationship between lipid synthesis and stem cell survival,the signal transduction pathways involved,and the application prospect of lipid synthesis reprogramming in CSC *** is demonstrated that the dependence on lipid synthesis makes targeting of lipid synthesis metabolism a promising therapeutic strategy for eliminating *** key molecules in lipid synthesis will play an important role in anti-CSC therapy.

The left internal mammary artery （LIMA） had become the conduit of choice for myocardial revascularization, since it has been rates of LIMA grafts are proved that 10 ears patency more than 90%. The arterial graft trunk dissection is a rare event, affecting the procedure effects and related to reoperation.3 According to Kim and coworker＇s study,4 the arterial graft trunk delayed dissection manifested by early post-operative angiography only occurred in 6 of 1111 of the off-pump coronary artery bypass grafts. So up to now, the consequence of dissections without severe hemodynamic abnormality is beyond our knowledge.

The Advanced Space-based Solar Observatory(ASO-S)is a mission proposed for the 25 th solar maximum by the Chinese solar *** scientific objectives are to study the relationships between the solar magnetic field,solar flares and coronal mass ejections(CMEs).Three payloads are deployed:the Full-disk vector Magneto Graph(FMG),the Lyman-αSolar Telescope(LST)and the Hard X-ray Imager(HXI).ASO-S will perform the first simultaneous observations of the photospheric vector magnetic field,non-thermal imaging of solar flares,and the initiation and early propagation of CMEs on a single ***-S is scheduled to be launched into a 720 km sun-synchronous orbit in *** paper presents an overview of the mission till the end of Phase-B and the beginning of Phase-C.

We investigate the modulation of magnetic anisotropy of thulium iron garnet(TmIG)films by interfaced Bi2Se3 thin *** quality epitaxial growth of Bi2Se3 films has been achieved by molecular beam epitaxy on TmIG *** the method of ferromagnetic resonance,we find that the perpendicular magnetic anisotropy(PMA)of TmIG can be greatly strengthened by the adjacent Bi2Se3 ***,the competition between topological surface states and thickness dependent bulk states of Bi2Se3 gives rise to the modulation of PMA of the Bi2Se3/TmIG *** interfacial interaction can be attributed to the enhanced exchange coupling between Fe^3+ions of TmIG mediated by topological surface electrons of Bi2Se3.

Background:Coronary artery disease(CAD)in octogenarians(age of>80 years)has a high risk of mortality and high *** shows that the prevalence of CAD is higher among octogenarians than that among younger people,but few such patients undergo percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)or coronary artery bypass grafting(CABG).This study aimed to evaluate different treatments w让h respect to their clinical effects and impacts on quality of life of octogenarians with ***:Data of 519 octogenarians with CAD consecutively treated at Beijing Anzhen Hospital,Capital Medical University(Beijing,China)from January 2010 to January 2016 were collected in this *** patients were categorized into three groups based on the treatments they received:the PCI group(n=292),CABG group(n=110),and medical treatment group(n=117).The followings were recorded during follow-up:clinical data,death(all-cause and cardiovascular-related),re-hospitalization time,Seattle Angina Questionnaire(SAQ)score,and occurrence of hemorrhagic events(cerebral bleeding,gastrointestinal bleeding,and dermal ecchymosis).Results:The median follow-up duration was 25.0(25th,75th percentile:17.0,55.5)months among 417 *** all-cause death rates(28.2%vs.12.0%and 14.6%,respectively)and cardiovascular-related death rates(15.4%us.3.8%and 6.4%,respectively)were significantly higher in the medical treatment group than those in the PCI group and CABG group(all P<0.05).The re-hospitalization rate for cardiovascular events was significantly lower in the CABG group than those in the PCI group and medical treatment group(3.8%vs.12.8%and 14.9%,respectively)(x^2=8.23&P=0.018).The SAQ scores of physical limitation,angina frequency,treatment satisfaction,and disease perception were significantly higher in the PCI group and CABG group than those in the medical treatment group(all P<0.05).No significant difference in the angina stability score was observed among the three groups(F=3.179,P=0.204).Conclusion:PCI an
