We design and fabricate a good performance silicon photoconductive terahertz detector on sapphire substrates at room *** best voltage responsivity of the detector is 6679 V/W at frequency 300 GHz as well as low voltage noise of 3.8 nV/Hz1/2 for noise equivalent power 0.57 pW/Hz1/*** measured response time of the device is about 9μs,demonstrating that the detector has a speed of>110 *** achieved good performance,together with large detector size(acceptance area is 3μm×160μm),simple structure,easy manufacturing method,compatibility with mature silicon technology,and suitability for large-scale fabrication of imaging arrays provide a promising approach to the development of sensitive terahertz room-temperature detectors.

Reducing the emission of agrochemicals hazardous to the environment and human health is one of the key targets of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal ***,we report a kind of quaternary ammonium pesticides with an acid-cleavable silaketal linkage on their backbones that enables control of *** pesticides possess outstanding bactericidal and insecticidal properties but become harmless to humans and other organisms after *** on the conditions of use,the hydrolytic process can be controlled over the time range of 10 min to 3 *** laboratory simulations and agricultural field demonstrations confirm that these pesticides can effectively protect crops from bacterial diseases and *** the sametime,single-dose intragastric administration using diisopropylsilyloxy bisquaternary ammonium salt 9(ISBQAS-9)in mice demonstrates its safety for multiple *** to the advantages of controllable degradability,environmental friendliness,and the low financial cost of these pesticides,this welldesigned strategy holds great promise for the generation of environmentally harmless pesticides and the development of green agriculture.

Adhesions between different cells and extracellular matrix have been studied extensively in vitro, but little is known about their functions in testicular tissue counterparts. Spermatogonia and their companion somatic cells maintain a close association throughout spermatogenesis and this association is necessary for normal spermatogenesis. In order to keep the relative integrity of the testicular tissues, and to detect the development in vitro, culture testicular tissues in a three- dimensional （3D） agarose matrix was examined. Testicular tissues isolated from 6.5 d postpartum （dpp） mouse were cultured on the top of the matrix for 26 d with a medium height up to 4/5 of the 3D agarose matrix. The results showed that in this 3D culture environment, each type of testicular cells kept the same structure, localization and function as in vivo and might be more biologically relevant to living organisms. After culture, germ cell marker VASA and meiosis markers DAZL and SCP3 showed typical positive analysed by immunofluorescence staining and RT-PCR. It demonstrated that this 3D culture system was able to maintain the number of germ cells and promote the meiosis initiation of male germ cells.

A sensitive method for simultaneous determination of six phenolic whitening agents, including arbutin, phenol, resorcinol, hydroquinone, kojic acid, and salicylic acid in cosmetics has been developed using micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography with amperometric detection （MECC-AD）. Effects of several factors, such as the pH value and concentration of running buffer, potential applied to the working electrode, separation voltage, and injection time were investigated to obtain optimum conditions for separation and detection. With a 75 cm long fused-silica capillary tube, well-defined separation of six phenolic compounds was achieved in 10 mmol/L SDS/40 mmol/L H3BO3-Na2B407 running buffer （pH 9.0）. Good linear relationship was obtained for each analyte over three orders of magnitude with correlation coefficients （r2） between 0.9985 and 0.9994, and the detection limit （S/N = 3） ranged from 0.04 p^g/mL to 0.45 p^g/mL. The proposed method has been successfully applied for the determination of phenolic whitening agents in real cosmetic samples with satisfactory results, providing an alternative monitoring method for cosmetics safety regulation.

One adult α-globin gene and one β-globin gene have been cloned from the large yellow croaker Pseudosciaena crocea. Linkage analysis indicated that the α- and β-globin genes were oriented head-to-head relative to each other. To identify the regulatory elements present in the intergenic and intragenic regions of the globin complex, the intergenic region alone or together with the β-globin gene first intron was cloned into the luciferase-reporter vector pGL3-Basic respectively, and the chimeric constructs were tran- siently transfected into Vero cells and primary fish erythrocytes. The intergenic region cannot support the high-level expression of luciferase. However, the promoter activity of the intergenic region was strongly stimulated by the positive regulatory elements （PRE） located in the β-globin gene intron 1. Thus, it is proposed that the intergenic promoters and intragenic PRE were necessary for the effective expression of the linked α- and β-globin genes.

BACKGROUND： Hepatocellular carcinoma（HCC） is one of the most common cancers worldwide. Most of the patients with HCC lose the surgical opportunity at the time of diagno sis. Some novel therapeutic modalities, like gene therapy, are promising for the treatment of HCC. However, the success of gene therapy depends on two aspects： efficient gene materials and gene delivery vectors. The present study was to develop new chitosan-based nanoparticles for a midkine-si RNA（anti HCC gene drug） ***： The novel gene delivery vector（MixN CH） was syn thesized by hybrid-type modification of chitosan with 2-chloro ethylamine hydrochloride and N, N-dimethyl-2-chloroethylamine hydrochloride. The chemical structure of Mix NCH was char acterized by FT-IR and 1HNMR. The cytotoxicity of Mix NCH was determined by MTS assay. The gene condensation ability and size, zeta potential and morphology of Mix NCH/MK si RNA nanoparticles were measured. The in vitro transfection and gene knockdown efficiency of midkine by Mix NCH/MK si RNA nanoparticles was detected by q RT-PCR and Western blotting. Gene knockdown effect at the molecule level on the proliferation of Hep G2 in vitro was determined by MTS ***： Mix NCH was successfully acquired by aminoalkyl ation modification of chitosan. The Mix NCH could condense MK-siR NA well above the weight ratio of 3. The average size of Mix NCH/MK-si RNA nanoparticles was 100-200 nm, and thesurface charge was about ＋5 m V. Morphologically, Mix NCH/MK-si RNA nanoparticles were in regular spherical shape-with no aggregation. Regarding to the in vitro transfection of nanoparticles, the MixN CH/MK-siR NA nanoparticles reduced MK m RNA level to 14.03%±4.03%, which were comparable to Biotrans（8.94%±3.77%）. Mix NCH/MK-si RNA effectively inhibited the proliferation of Hep G2 in vitro.-CONCLUSION： Mix NCH/MK-si RNA nanoparticles could be effective for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma.

The A-type granites with highly positiveε_(Nd)(t)values in the West Junggar,Central Asian Orogenic Belt(CAOB),have long been perceived as a group formed under the same tectonic and geodynamic setting,magmatic sourceq and petrogenetic *** evidence shows that these granites occurred at two different tectonic units related to the southeastern subduction of Junggar oceanic plate:the Hongshan and Karamay granites emplaced in the southeast of West Junggar in the Baogutu continental arc;whereas the Akebasitao and Miaoergou granites formed in the accretionary *** the authors present new bulk-rock geochemistry and Sr-Nd isotopes,zircon U-Pb ages and Hf-O isotopes data on these *** granites in the Baogutu continental arc and accretionary prism contain similar zirconε_(Hf)(t)values(+10.9 to+16.2)and bulk-rock geochemical characteristics(high SiO_(2)and K_(2)O contents,enriched LILEs(except Sr),depleted Sr,Ta and Ti,and negative anomalies in Ce and Eu).The Hongshan and Karamay granites in the Baogutu continental arc have older zircon U-Pb ages(315-305 Ma)and moderate^(18)O enrichments(δ^(18)_(O_(zircon))=+6.41‰-+7.96‰);whereas the Akebasitao and Miaoergou granites in the accretionary prism have younger zircon U-Pb ages(305-301 Ma)with higher^(18)O enrichments(δ^(18)_(O_(zircon))=+8.72‰-+9.89‰).The authors deduce that the elevated^(18)O enrichments of the Akebasitao and Miaoergou granites were probably inherited from low-temperature altered oceanic *** Akebasitao and Miaoergou granites were originated from partial melting of low-temperature altered oceanic crusts with juvenile oceanic sediments below the accretionary *** Hongshan and Karamay granites were mainly derived from partial melting of basaltic juvenile lower crust with mixtures of potentially chemical weathered ancient crustal residues and mantle basaltic melt(induced by hot intruding mantle basaltic magma at the bottom of the Baogutu continental arc).On the other hand,the Miaoe
