Flexible Zn-based batteries have attracted increasing research interest as essential components of wearable energy storage ***,the advancement of flexible aqueous Zn-based batteries based on Co-Ni layered double hydroxide （CoNi-LDH） as the cathode material is hampered by their poor cycling stability and the corrosiveness of alkaline ***,CoNi-LDH nanosheets enriched with H vacancies (CoNi-LDH（v）) were constructed on a flexible carbon cloth （CC） substrate via electrochemical deposition and *** Zn-based battery comprising CoNi-LDH（v）@CC as the cathode exhibited highly reversible conversion reactions and stable operation in 3 M ZnSO4electrolyte （pH=4）.The battery delivered an excellent specific capacity (225 mA h g-1,0.26 mA h cm-2),acceptable cycling stability（53.9%,900 cycles）,and high discharging *** abundant H vacancies served as active sites for the reversible intercalation of Zn2+and the extravasation of NO3-generated channels and space for Zn2+transport and storage,together enabling an excellent Zn2+storage ***,a sandwich-structured solid-state CoNi-LDH（v）@CC//Zn@CC battery was fabricated and was found to exhibit a noteworthy electrochemical performance and mechanical *** a proof of concept,the unencapsulated battery powered a digital watch under various deformation conditions and operated stably for 80 ***,the flexible battery displayed outstanding customizability,maintaining an open-circuit voltage of 1.42 V even after being cut *** proposed engineering strategy contributes to the realization of textiles with truly wearable energy-storage devices.

Objective:Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)has spread worldwide,and several virus variants have *** are administered to help prevent the *** Republic of Korea,most people take herbal *** study investigated the use of herbal medicine to counter the side effects of COVID-19 ***:This cross-sectional study was conducted using an online ***-square tests were used to determine differences in the use of herbal medication according to sociodemographic *** two-sample and paired t-tests were performed to examine the effect and satisfaction of herbal medicine use for countering the side effects of COVID-19 ***-way analysis of variance was used to determine vaccine-related ***:A total of 233 and 181 participants received the first and second doses of COVID-19 vaccines,*** majority of herbal medicine users were in their thirties,had a bachelor’s degree,suffered from side effects of vaccination,and received Vaxzevria for their first COVID-19 vaccine dose and Comirnaty for their second *** herbal medicine group had a higher satisfaction level of postvaccination side effects than the non-herbal medicine group(P<0.0001).The numeric rating scale scores for vaccination side effects were lower among participants who took herbal medication to alleviate those symptoms(P<0.0001).The most commonly used herbal formula was ***:A third of participants receiving COVID-19 vaccines used herbal medication to counter the side effects of *** use of herbal medicine was associated with age,education level,vaccine brand,and whether side effects of vaccination *** medication use was associated with greater satisfaction compared to vaccine recipients not using herbal medication.

A novel fabrication process for micro patterns with curvature was introduced. The curved structures were made by compensating rectangular micro structures with liquid photoresist layer. Because of the surface tension of the liquid in micro scale, various shapes of meniscus can he made on the micro channels. The micro channels were made on the silicon suhstrate in advance, and then the liquid layer was coated on the micro channels. From the nature of liquid behavior, the curved patterns with smooth surface are obtained, which cannot be made easily with the conventional mechanical machining, as well as with the microfabrication processes, such as wet and dry etching. With this principle, it is expected that the smooth and curved surfaces can be made by simple processes and the results can be applied widely, such as optical patterns.

The marine medium-speed diesel engines are started by two methods;one is the electric motors,and the other air starting *** though air starting motor is dependent of the engine types and sizes,it has been widely used in this area due to its simplicity,convenience and *** purpose of this paper is to give the designing parameters in order to make a proper "Air Starting Motor" using *** aerodynamic approaches were given to understand the internal flow characteristics of the air starting *** addition,we have carried out the investigation of effects of tip *** the calculations the tip clearance of air starting motor has been varied between 0,2.8,4.3 and 5.7% of blade *** results of computation are the tip clearance increased to 2.8%,the torque decreased 24%,and there was no more large changes when the clearances increased to 4.3% and 5.7%.

LiMnOand LiNiAlyMnO（x= 0.50;y = 0.05-0.50） powders have been synthesized via facile solgel method using Behenic acid as active cheiating *** synthesized samples are subjected to physical characterizations such as thermo gravimetric analysis（TG/DTA）,X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FT-IR）,field-emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEM）,transmission electron microscopy（TEM） and electrochemical studies viz.,galvanostatic cycling properties,electrochemical impedance spectroscopy（EIS） and differential capacity curves（dQ/dE）.Finger print XRD patterns of LiMnOand LiNiAlMnOfortify the high degree of crystallinity with better phase *** images of the undoped pristine spinel illustrate uniform spherical grains surface morphology with an average particle size of 0.5 μm while Ni doped particles depict the spherical grains growth（50nm） with ice-cube surface *** images of the spinel LiMnOshows the uniform spherical morphology with particle size of（100 nm） while low level of Al-doping spinel（LiNio.5Alo.05Mn1.45O4） displaying cloudy particles with agglomerated particles of（50nm）.The LiMnOsamples calcined at 850℃ deliver the discharge capacity of 130 mAh/g in the first cycle corresponds to 94%coiumbic efficiency with capacity fade of 1.5 mAh/g/cycle over the investigated 10 *** all four dopant compositions investigated,LiNiAlMnOdelivers the maximum discharge capacity of 126 mAh/g during the first cycle and shows the stable cycling performance with low capacity fade of 1 mAh/g/cycle（capacity retention of 92%） over the investigated 10 *** impedance studies of spinel LiMnOand LiNiAlMnOdepict the high and low real polarization of 1562 and 1100 Ω.

AIM:To perform a meta-analysis of observational studies to further elucidate the relationship between oral bisphosphonate use and gastrointestinal cancer ***:Systematic literature search was conducted in MEDLINE,EMBASE,and the Cochrane Library to identify studies through January *** terms were "bisphosphonates" or trade names of the drugs,and "observational studies" or "cohort studies" or "case-control studies".Two evaluators reviewed and selected articles on the basis of predetermined selection criteria as followed:(1) observational studies(casecontrol or cohort studies) on bisphosphonate use;(2) with at least 2 years of follow-up;and(3) reported data on the incidence of cancer *** DerSimonian and Laird random effects model were used to calculate the pooled relative risk(RR) with 95% confidence interval(CI).Two-by-two contingency table was used to calculate the outcomes not suitable for *** meta-analyses were conducted for the type of cancer(esophageal,gastric and colorectal cancers).Sensitivity analyses were performed to examine the effect sizes when only studies with long-term follow-up(mean 5 years;subgroup 3 years) were ***:Of 740 screened articles,3 cohort studies and 3 case-control studies were included in the *** first,4 cohort studies and 3 case-control studies were selected for the analyses but one cohort study was excluded because the cancer outcomes were not categorized by type of gastrointestinal *** than 124 686 subjects participated in the 3 cohort *** mean follow-up time in all of the cohort studies combined was approximately 3.88 *** 3 casecontrol studies reported 3070 esophageal cancer cases and 15 417 controls,2018 gastric cancer cases and 10 007 controls,and 11 574 colorectal cancer cases and 53 955 *** percentage of study participants who used bisphosphonate was 2.8% among the cases and 2.9% among the *** meta-analysis of all the studies fo

As requirements for system quality have increased, the need for high system reliability is also increasing. Soflnvare systems are extremely important, in terms of enhanced reliability and stability, for providing high quality services to customers. However, because of the complexity of software systems, soft-ware development can be time-consuming and expensive. Many statistical models have been developed in the past years to estimate soflnvare reliability. In this paper, we propose a new three-parameter fault-detection software reliability model with the uncertainty of operating environments. The explicit mean value function solution for the proposed model is presented. Examples are presented to illustrate the goodness-of-fit of the proposed model and several existing non-homogeneous Poisson process （NHPP） models based on three sets of failure data collected from software applications. The results show that the proposed model fits significantly better than other existing NHPP models based on three criteria such as mean squared error （MSE）, predictive ratio risk （PRR）, and predictive power （PP）.

The crystallization behavior of wollastonite glass-ceramics was investigated by means of X-ray diffraction （XRD） analysis and surface morphological observations, and the chemical compositions were evaluated by field emission-scanning electron microscopy （FE-SEM） and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDS）. Various heat treatment temperatures （850, 900, 950, 1000 and 1050 ℃） were used to obtain glass-ceramics of the ideal wollastonite crystal phase as well as optimum mechanical properties and chemical durability. From XRD, FE-SEM and EDS, the crystallization of acicular crystal phase in the matrix was achieved at heat treatment temperature of 1000 and 1050 ℃, and wollastonite （CaSiO3） was found in the acicular type main crystal phase in the glass-ceramics. Various properties, such as density, compressive strength, bending strength and chemical durability were also examined. The mechanical properties of glass-ceramics obtained at the heat treatment temperature of 1000 and 1050 ℃ were superior to those obtained at the heat treatment temperature of 850 ℃.

Map-based control method for vehicle stability enhancement

This work proposes a map-based control method to improve a vehicle's lateral stability, and the performance of the proposed method is compared with that of the conventional model-referenced control method. Model-referenced control uses the sliding mode method to determine the compensated yaw moment; in contrast, the proposed map-based control uses the compensated yaw moment map acquired by vehicle stability analysis. The vehicle stability region is calculated by a topological method based on the trajectory reversal method. A 2-DOF vehicle model and Pacejka's tire model are used to evaluate the proposed map-based control method. The properties of model-referenced control and map-based control are compared under various road conditions and driving inputs. Model-referenced control uses a control input to satisfy the linear reference model, and it generates unnecessary tire lateral forces that may lead to worse performance than an uncontrolled vehicle with step steering input on a road with a low friction coefficient. However, map-based control determines a compensated yaw moment to maintain the vehicle within the stability region,so the typical responses of vehicle enable to converge rapidly. The simulation results with sine and step steering show that map-based control provides better the tracking responsibility and control performance than model-referenced control.
