Influence of distance between paralleled metal fibers on giant magnetoimpedance

Giant magnetoimpedance （GMI） and the GMI effect of a Co-based fiber beam were investigated in the frequency range of 0.1-10 MHz, and the influence of distance between adjacent fibers on the distribution of the surface circumferential magnetic field and GMI effect was analyzed. Compared with a single fiber, the distribution of the surface magnetic field of paralleled fibers is non-uniform, induced by magnetic interaction between metal fibers. The originally uniformly dis- tributed circumferential magnetic field changes into two obvious coexisting parts： one stronger and one weaker. The results prove that the strengthened circumferential magnetic field determines the GMI effect and sensitivity. It is found that the maximum surface of the circumferential magnetic field is reinforced by 88% when the four fibers are as closely parallel as possible; the GMI effect is greatest under higher field sensitivity. At 5 MHz, the sensitivity of the four-fiber beam reaches 3090 V/T, an increase of 277% compared with a single fiber. However, the magnetic interaction fades with the increase in distance between fibers and as the distribution of the surface magnetic field becomes even. The maximum magnetic field also becomes gradually equal to the level of a single fiber. When the distance is 1 mm, the maximum surface magnetic field is increased by 3.2%, and the improvement in the GMI effect is correspondingly slight. Therefore, a strong magnetic interaction among fibers can improve the intensity of the surface circumferential magnetic field and give rise to a fine GMI effect and high field sensitivity in Co-based metal fibers.

Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff optimization of multiple horizontal wells with complex fracture networks in the M unconventional reservoir

The oil production of the multi-fractured horizontal wells(MFHWs) declines quickly in unconventional oil reservoirs due to the fast depletion of natural energy. Gas injection has been acknowledged as an effective method to improve oil recovery factor from unconventional oil reservoirs. Hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff becomes preferable when the CO_(2) source is limited. However, the impact of complex fracture networks and well interference on the EOR performance of multiple MFHWs is still unclear. The optimal gas huff-n-puff parameters are significant for enhancing oil recovery. This work aims to optimize the hydrocarbon gas injection and production parameters for multiple MFHWs with complex fracture networks in unconventional oil reservoirs. Firstly, the numerical model based on unstructured grids is developed to characterize the complex fracture networks and capture the dynamic fracture ***, the PVT phase behavior simulation was carried out to provide the fluid model for numerical simulation. Thirdly, the optimal parameters for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff were obtained. Finally, the dominant factors of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff under complex fracture networks are obtained by fuzzy mathematical method. Results reveal that the current pressure of hydrocarbon gas injection can achieve miscible displacement. The optimal injection and production parameters are obtained by single-factor analysis to analyze the effect of individual parameter. Gas injection time is the dominant factor of hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff in unconventional oil reservoirs with complex fracture networks. This work can offer engineers guidance for hydrocarbon gas huff-n-puff of multiple MFHWs considering the complex fracture networks.

Simulation study on cuttings transport of the backreaming operation for long horizontal section wells

The backreaming operation plays a significant role in safe drilling for horizontal wellbores, while it may cause severe stuck pipe accidents. To lower the risk of the stuck pipe in backreaming operations, the mechanism of cuttings transport needs to be carefully investigated. In this research, a transient cuttings transport with multiple flow patterns model is developed to predict the evolution of cuttings transported in the annulus while backreaming. The established model can provide predictions of the distribution of cuttings bed along the wellbore considering the bulldozer effect caused by large-size drilling tools(LSDTs). The sensitivity analyses of the size of LSDTs, and backreaming operating parameters are conducted in Section 4. And a new theory is proposed to explain the mechanism of cuttings transport in the backreaming operation, in which both the bit and LSDTs have the “cleaning effect” and “plugging effect”.The results demonstrate that the cuttings bed in annuli is in a state of dynamic equilibrium, but the overall trend and the distribution pattern are obvious. First, larger diameters and longer drilling tools could lead to a higher risk of the stuck pipe. Second, we find that it is not the case that the higher flow rate is always better for hole cleaning, so three flow-rate intervals are discussed separately under the given conditions. When the “dangerous flow rate”(35 L/s in Case 4),the higher the flow rate, the better the cleaning effect of cuttings beds. In order to solve the friction,wear and lubrication problems of titanium,a series of TaN/ployether−ether−ketone(PEEK)coatings were developed by electrophoretic deposition,and the effects of TaN nanoparticles on the microstructure,mechanical properties and tribological performance of coatings were *** manifest that the introduction of TaN nanoparticles into PEEK coatings could improve the deposition efficiency,enhance the resistant deform capacity,increase the hardness,elastic modulus and adhesive bonding *** with the pure PEEK coating,the friction coefficient of P-TN-3 was greatly reduced by 31.25%.The wear resistance of P-TN-3 was also improved in huge boost,and its specific wear rate was decreased from 9.42×10^(−5) to 1.62×10^(−5) mm^(3)·N^(−1)·m^(−1).The homogeneous composite TaN/PEEK coatings prepared by electrophoretic deposition were well-adhered to the titanium alloy substrate,TaN nanoparticles could improve the strength of PEEK coating,and provide wear-resistance protection for titanium alloys.

Preoperative prediction of perineural invasion of rectal cancer based on a magnetic resonance imaging radiomics model:A dual-center study

Relation Between the Eventual Continuity and the E-property for Markov-Feller Semigroups

We investigate some relations between two kinds of semigroup regularities, namely the e-property and the eventual continuity, both of which contribute to the ergodicity for Markov processes on Polish *** precisely, we prove that for Markov-Feller semigroup in discrete time and stochastically continuous MarkovFeller semigroup in continuous time, if there exists an ergodic measure whose support has a nonempty interior,then the e-property is satisfied on the interior of the support. In particular, it implies that, restricted on the support of each ergodic measure, the e-property and the eventual continuity are equivalent for the discrete-time and the stochastically continuous continuous-time Markov-Feller semigroups.

Efficient Monolithic Perovskite/Silicon Tandem Photovoltaics

Tunable bandgaps make halide perovskites promising candidates for developing tandem solar cells (TSCs),a strategy to break the radiative limit of 33.7%for single-junction solar *** perovskites with marketdominant crystalline silicon (c-Si) is particularly attractive; simple estimates based on the bandgap matching indicate that the efficiency limit in such tandem device is as high as 46%.However,state-of-the-art perovskite/c-Si TSCs only achieve an efficiency of～32.5%,implying significant challenges and also rich *** this review,we start with the operating mechanism and efficiency limit of TSCs,followed by systematical discussions on wide-bandgap perovskite front cells,interface selective contacts,and electrical interconnection layer,as well as photon management for highly efficient perovskite/c-Si *** highlight the challenges in this field and provide our understanding of future research directions toward highly efficient and stable large-scale wide-bandgap perovskite front cells for the commercialization of perovskite/c-Si TSCs.
