Dissipative Kerr solitons in resonant frequency combs offer a promising route for ultrafast mode-locking,precision spectroscopy and time-frequency *** dynamics for the dissipative soliton generation,however,are intrinsically intertwined with thermal nonlinearities,limiting the soliton generation parameter map and statistical success probabilities of the solitary ***,via use of an auxiliary laser heating approach to suppress thermal dragging dynamics in dissipative soliton comb formation,we demonstrate stable Kerr soliton singlet formation and soliton ***,we access a new soliton existence range with an inverse-sloped Kerr soliton evolution—diminishing soliton energy with increasing pump ***,we achieve deterministic transitions from Turinglike comb patterns directly into the dissipative Kerr soliton singlet pulse bypassing the chaotic *** is achieved by avoiding subcomb overlaps at lower pump power,with near-identical singlet soliton comb generation over twenty ***,with the red-detuned pump entrance route enabled,we uncover unique spontaneous soliton bursts in the direct formation of low-noise optical frequency combs from continuum background *** burst dynamics are due to the rapid entry and mutual attraction of the pump laser into the cavity mode,aided by the auxiliary laser and matching well with our numerical *** by the auxiliary-assisted frequency comb dynamics,we demonstrate an application of automatic soliton comb recovery and long-term stabilization against strong external *** findings hold potential to expand the parameter space for ultrafast nonlinear dynamics and precision optical frequency comb stabilization.

Abstract Compute-in-memory (CIM) based on various devices such as static random access memory (SRAM) and resistive random access memory (RRAM) and other emerging devices such as indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (IGZO) transistor, magnetoresistive RAM (MRAM), and ferroelectric RAM (FeRAM) has been explored for better performance and energy efficiency on neural networks applications. However, CIM based on a single-type device suffers a variety of non-ideal metrics to reach the simultaneous optimal accuracy, density, and energy efficiency. This work presents equivalent-ideal CIM (Eq-CIM), a monolithic 3D(M3D) IGZO-RRAM-SRAM integrated architecture for robust and efficient compute-in-memory enabling equivalent-ideal device metrics. To overcome the non-ideality (variation, endurance, temperature, etc.) of the single-type devices, system-technology co-optimization (STCO) is performed. This work highlights the non-ideality-aware functionality breakdown for robust high accuracy and simultaneous high density/efficiency, by utilizing 2T0C IGZO for temporal activation storage, RRAM for high-density weight storage, and SRAM for accurate CIM. Device-to-algorithm variation transfer is applied to analyze the system-level accuracy. We benchmark Eq-CIM architecture on CIFAR-10/ImageNet, with 5.06×storage density and 5.05×/2.45×area/energy efficiency compared with single-type-device-based CIM, and high robustness (<0.27%accuracy loss) from-40℃ to 120℃.

We report on an experimental observation of constructive quantum interference between two atomic transition pathways 3P1/2-5S (or 4D) and 3P3/2-5S (or 4D) via equal-frequency hybrid excitation and collision-aided radiative excitation in an Na2-Na system. Through the special excitation processes, constructive quantum interference is realized for a Λ-type quantum-beat configuration with a widely-spaced doublet (about 17cm-1) in the excited sodium atom driven by one laser. The dependences of quantum interference on the argon buffer gas pressure and sample temperature are also examined.

ObjectiveTo present an approach to phenotyping ACEs and explore the association between ACEs and adolescent health risky behaviors based on the social context of *** Totally,5,726 adolescents aged 12-18 years were investigated about their ACEs in the family,peer,school,and personal domains and the occurrence of six types of risky health behaviors(i.e.,smoking,drinking,sexual intercourse,self-harm,and suicidal ideation and attempts).Latent class analysis(LCA)was used to explore the ACE *** Six latent classes of ACEs were identified,including low adversity,school adversity,school adversity and peer victimization,peer victimization,maltreatment and peer victimization,and high adversity,and associated with risky health behaviors in *** physically punished by a teacher,experiencing sexual abuse,and experiencing family trauma most strongly differentiated from the six AcE classes and were correlated with an increased risk for risky adolescent health *** study supports a positive association between ACEs and risky adolescent health *** victimization,school adversity and associated contexts need to be considered in future ACEstudies.

The active ingredient of ginseng,ginsenosides Rg1,has been shown to scavenge free radicals and improve antioxidant *** study hypothesized that ginsenosides Rg1 has a protective role in human neuroblastoma cells injured by *** Rg1 at different concentrations（50 and 100 μM） was used to treat H2O2（150 μM）-injured SH-SY5 Y *** demonstrated that ginsenoside Rg1 elevated the survival rate of SH-SY5 Y cells injured by H2O2,diminished the amount of leaked lactate dehydrogenase,and increased superoxide dismutase *** Rg1 effectively suppressed caspase-3 immunoreactivity,and contributed to heat shock protein 70 gene expression,in a dose-dependent *** results indicate that ginsenoside Rg1 has protective effects on SH-SY5 Y cells injured by H2O2 and that its mechanism of action is associated with anti-oxidation and the inhibition of apoptosis.

Spatial Vibration and Its Numerical Analytical Method of Four-high Rolling Mills

The rolls in contemporary four-high mills cannot be maintained parallel during the rolling process. There- fore, four-high rolling mill vibrations take place in six degree of freedom （DOF） leading to spatial behaviors invol- ving vertical, horizontal, axial, torsional, cross and swinging vibration modes resulting in complex relative motions between the rolls. Two numerical methods, modified Riccati-transfer matrix method （Riccati-TMM） and finite ele- ment method （FEM）, are presented to analyze a spatial vibration characteristic of two four-high rolling mills with different stability. The natural frequency and mode shape of four-high rolling mills are obtained, and the clearance has a great effect on natural frequency and mode shape. In addition, field testing experiment is also conducted to measure natural frequency by power spectrum analysis of rolling mill vibration. Experimental results basically agree with those calculated by Riccati-TMM and FEM, which means that the Riccati-TMM and the FEM can be used for analysis of spatial vibration of four-high rolling mill. Meanwhile, the spatial vibration shows more compound vibra- tion behaviors and the negative effect of horizontal, vertical, cross and swinging vibration modes are effectively con- trolled after redesign of rolling mill. These advantages have a great significance for the rolling mill to be operated with a much higher rolling speed and improved yield of products.

Electroacupuncture for the treatment of spinal cord iniury has a good dinical curative effect, but the underlying mechanism is unclear. In our experiments, the spinal cord of adult Sprague-Daw- ley rats was clamped for 60 seconds. Dazhui （GV14） and Mingmen （GV4） acupoints of rats were subjected to electroacupuncture. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay revealed that the expres- sion of serum inflammatory factors was apparently downregulated in rat models of spinal cord injury after electroacupuncture. Hematoxylin-eosin staining and immunohistochemistry results demonstrated that electroacupuncture contributed to the proliferation of neural stem cells in rat injured spinal cord, and suppressed their differentiation into astrocytes. Real-time quantitative PCR and western blot assays showed that electroacupuncture inhibited activation of the Notch signaling pathway induced by spinal cord injury. These findings indicate that electroacupuncture repaired the injured spinal cord by suppressing the Notch signaling pathway and promoting the proliferation of endogenous neural stem ceils.

Long-term glucocorticoid use may result in sustained suppression of one or more secreted components from the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal axis, and often results in apoptosis. Yougui Pill（YGP）, a 10-component traditional Chinese herbal medicine, has been shown to be clinically effective for glucocorticoid-induced suppression of the hypothalamo-pituitary-adrenal axis. However, the pharmacological and molecular mechanisms remain unclear. We hypothesized that YGP would exert an anti-apoptosis effect on dexamethasone-treated anterior pituitary cells. In vivo experiments showed that YGP significantly reduced the number of apoptotic cells, down-regulated m RNA expression of cytochrome c, caspase-3, and caspase-9, and up-regulated m RNA expression of Bcl-2. These findings suggest that YGP reduced glucocorticoid-induced apoptosis in rat anterior pituitary cells by regulating the mitochondria-mediated apoptosis pathway.
