Spatial heterogeneity or“patchiness”of plankton distributions in the ocean has always been an attractive and challenging scientific issue to *** focused on the accumulation and dynamic mechanism of the Acetes chinensis in the lianyungang nearshore licensed fishing *** Lagrangian frame approaches including the Lagrangian coherent structures theory,Lagrangian residual current,and Lagrangian particle-tracking model were applied to find the transport pathways and aggregation characteristics of Acetes *** exist some material transport pathways for Acetes chinensis passing through the licensed fishing area,and Acetes chinensis is easy to accumulate in the licensed fishing *** main mechanism forming this distribution pattern is the local circulation induced by the nonlinear interaction of topography and tidal *** the Lagrangian coherent structure analysis and the particle trajectory tracking indicate that Acetes chinensis in the licensed fishing area come from the nearshore *** work contributed to the adjustment of licensed fishing area and the efficient utilization of fishery resources.

The central-to-axial chirality conversion represents a fascinating class of chemical processes consisting of the destruction of stereogenic centers and the simultaneous installation of axial chiral elements,which provides efficient methods for the preparation of axially chiral ***,developing catalytic asymmetric approaches for constructing these central chirality precursors and the efficient central-to-axial chirality conversion remains a challenge due to the requirement of aromatization or elimination *** this work,we have developed an unprecedented enantioselective intramolecular FriedelCrafts alkylation with unactivated-ketone carbonyls from which a chiral tertiary alcohol was generated with high efficiency and excellent *** addition,the central-to-axial chirality conversion strategy has been successfully applied to the synthesis of enantioenriched biaryls via a less-explored carbocation-initiated rearrangement and aromatization under the promotion of Lewis *** methodology provided a straightforward and sustainable access to a broad range of biaryl-2-carboxylic acid and in excellent yields(up to 92%)and excellent central-to-axial chirality conversion(up to 99%conversion percentage).This work could be a great model for developing new methods for synthesizing axially chiral biaryls and a general protocol for the rearrangement and aromatization of carbocations for further functionalization.

P-type Mg_(3)Sb_(2)-based Zintls have attracted considerable interest in the thermoelectric(TE)field due to their environmental friendliness and low ***,compared to their n-type counterparts,they show relatively low TE performance,limiting their application in TE *** this work,we simultaneously introduce Bi alloying at Sb sites and Ag doping at Mg sites into the Mg_(3)Sb_(2)to coopera-tively optimize the electrical and thermal properties for the first time,acquiring the highest ZT value of∼0.85 at 723 K and a high average ZT of 0.39 in the temperature range of 323-723 K in sample Mg_(2.94)Ag_(0.06)Sb_(1.9)Bi_(0.1).The first-principle calculations show that the codoping of Ag and Bi can shift the Fermi level into the valence band and narrow the band gap,resulting in the increased carrier concentration from 3.50×10^(17)cm^(-3)in the reference Mg 3 Sb 0.9 Bi 0.1 to∼7.88×10^(19)cm^(-3)in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** a result,a remarkable power factor of∼778.9μW m^(-1)K^(-2)at 723 K is achieved in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi ***,a low lattice thermal conductivity of∼0.48 W m^(-1)K^(-1)at 723 K is also obtained with the help of phonon scattering at the distorted lattice,point defects,and nano-precipitates in sample Mg 2.94 Ag 0.06 Sb 0.9 Bi *** synergistic effect of using the multi-element co-doping/-alloying to optimize electrical properties in Mg_(3)Sb_(2)holds promise for further improving the TE performance of Zintl phase materials or even others.

Vicinal oxygen chelate(VOC)proteins are members of an enzyme superfamily with dioxygenase or non-dioxygenase ***,the biological functions of VOC proteins in plants are poorly ***,we show that a VOC in Nicotiana benthamiana(NbVOC1)facilitates viral ***1 was significantly induced by infection by beet necrotic yellow vein virus(BNYVV).Transient overexpression of NbVOC1 or its homolog from Beta vulgaris(BvVOC1)enhanced BNYVV infection in ***,which required the nuclear localization of *** with this result,overexpressing NbVOC1 facilitated BNYVV infection,whereas,knockdown and knockout of NbVOC1 inhibited BNYVV infection in transgenic *** ***1 interacts with the basic leucine zipper transcription factors bZIP17/28,which enhances their self-interaction and DNA binding to the promoters of unfolded protein response(UPR)-related *** propose that bZIP17/28 directly binds to the NbVOC1 promoter and induces its transcription,forming a positive feedback loop to induce the UPR and facilitating BNYVV ***,our results demonstrate that NbVOC1 positively regulates the UPR that enhances viral infection in plants.

This paper investigates the path-following control problem with obstacle avoidance of autonomous surface vehicles in the presence of actuator faults,uncertainty and external *** surface vehicles inevitably suffer from actuator faults in complex sea environments,which may cause existing obstacle avoidance strategies to *** reduce the influence of actuator faults,an improved artificial potential function is constructed by introducing the lower bound of actuator efficiency *** nonlinear state observer,which only depends on measurable position information of the autonomous surface vehicle,is used to address uncertainties and external *** using a backstepping technique and adaptive mechanism,a path-following control strategy with obstacle avoidance and fault tolerance is designed which can ensure that the tracking errors converge to a small neighborhood of *** with existing results,the proposed control strategy has the capability of obstacle avoidance and fault tolerance ***,the comparison results through simulations are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Boron has high mass and volume calorific values,but it is difficult to ignite and has low combustion *** literature review summarizes the strategies that are used to solve the above-mentioned problems,which include coatings of boron by using fluoride compounds,energetic composites,metal fuels,and metal *** techniques include recrystallization,dual-solvent,phase transfer,electrospinning,*** one of the effective coating agents,the fluorine compounds can react with the oxide shell of boron *** comparison,the energetic composites can effectively improve the flame temperature of boron powder and enhance the evaporation efficiency of oxide film as a condensed *** and metal oxides would react with boron powder to form metal borides with a lower ignition point,which could reduce its ignition temperature.

BACKGROUND Colorectal cancer(CRC)is the third most common cancer and a significant cause of cancer-related mortality *** to chemotherapy,especially during CRC treatment,leads to reduced effectiveness of drugs and poor patient *** noncoding RNAs(lncRNAs)have been implicated in various pathophysiological processes of tumor cells,including chemotherapy resistance,yet the roles of many lncRNAs in CRC remain *** To identify and analyze the lncRNAs involved in oxaliplatin resistance in CRC and to understand the underlying molecular mechanisms influencing this *** Gene Expression Omnibus datasets GSE42387 and GSE30011 were reanalyzed to identify lncRNAs and mRNAs associated with oxaliplatin *** bioinformatics tools were employed to elucidate molecular *** expression levels of lncRNAs and mRNAs were assessed via quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain *** assays,including MTT,wound healing,and Transwell,were conducted to investigate the functional implications of lncRNA *** between lncRNAs and trans-cription factors were examined using RIP and luciferase reporter assays,while Western blotting was used to confirm downstream ***,a xenograft mouse model was utilized to study the in vivo effects of lncRNAs on chemotherapy *** LncRNA prion protein testis specific(PRNT)was found to be upregulated in oxaliplatin-resistant CRC cell lines and negatively correlated with homeodomain interacting protein kinase 2(HIPK2)*** was demonstrated to sponge transcription factor zinc finger protein 184(ZNF184),which in turn could regulate HIPK2 *** expression of PRNT influenced CRC cell sensitivity to oxaliplatin,with overexpression leading to decreased sensitivity and decreased expression reducing *** RIP and luciferase reporter assays indicated that ZNF184 and HIPK2 are targets of *** PRNT/ZNF184

Electrochemical filtration can not only enrich low concentrations of pollutants but also produce reactive oxygen species to interact with toxic pollutants with the assistance of a power supply,making it an effective strategy for drinking water *** addition,the application of electrochemical filtration facilitates the reduction of pretreatment procedures and the use of chemicals,which has outstanding potential for maximizing process simplicity and reducing operating costs,enabling the production of safe drinking water in smaller *** recent years,the research on electrochemical filtration has gradually increased,but there has been a lack of attention on its application in the removal of low concentrations of pollutants from low conductivity *** this review,membrane substrates and electrocatalysts used to improve the performance of electrochemical membranes are briefly ***,the application prospects of emerging single-atom catalysts in electrochemical filtration are also ***,several electrochemical advanced oxidation processes coupled with membrane filtration are described,and the related working mechanisms and their advantages and shortcomings used in drinking water purification are ***,the roles of electrochemical filtration in drinking water purification are presented,and the main problems and future perspectives of electrochemical filtration in the removal of low concentration pollutants are discussed.
