Background and Aims:The hepatitis E virus(HEV)is a zoonotic disease,and infection with HEV in humans primarily causes acute infections and can progress to chronic manifestation in immunocompromised *** the past decade,guidelines for diagnosing and treating HEV infection have been *** study aimed to systematically assess the quality of current guidelines for diagnosing and treating HEV infection,and we analyzed the differences in guideline quality and primary recommendations and explored possible reasons for these ***:Guidelines published between 2013 and 2022 were searched,and studies were identified using selection *** study assessed the quality of the included guidelines using the Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation tool,extracted the primary recommendations in the guidelines,determined the highest level of evidence supporting the recommendations,and reclassified the evidence using the Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine grading ***:Seven guidelines were included in the final *** quality of the guidelines varied *** discrepancies may have been caused by the lack of external experts,the failure to consider influencing factors in guideline application,and the lack of consideration of the public’s *** of the heterogeneity in primary recommendations revealed differences in algorithms for managing chronic HEV infection,the dosage of ribavirin,and a low level of evidence supporting the primary ***:Guideline quality and primary recommendations vary *** by guideline developers and researchers would facilitate updating and applying guidelines for diagnosing and treating HEV infection.

Prognostic scores in primary biliary cholangitis patients with advanced disease

Kinetics of phytohemaglutinin-induced IFN-γ and TNF-a expression in peripheral blood mononuclear cells from patients with chronic hepatitis B after liver transplantation

AIM： To study the association between host immunity and hepatitis B virus （HBV） recurrence after liver transplantation. METHODS： Peripheral blood mononuclear cells （PBMC） were isolated from 40 patients with hepatitis B and underwent orthotopic liver transplantation （OLT） before and 2, 4, 8 wk after surgery. After being cultured in vitro for 72 h, the levels of INF-γ and TNF-α in culture supematants were detected with ELISA. At the same time, the quantities of HBV DNA in serum and PBMCs were measured by real time PCR. RESULTS： The levels of INF-γ and TNF-α in PBMC culture supernatants decreased before and 2, 4 wk after surgery in turns （INF-γ 155.52±72.32 ng/L vs 14.76±9.88 ng/L vs 13.22±10.35 ng/L, F= 6.946, P= 0.027〈0.05; TNF-α 80.839±46.75 ng/L vs18.59±17.29 ng/L vs9.758±7.96 ng/L, F= 22.61, P = 0.0001〈0.05）. The levels of INF-γ and TNF-α were higher in groups with phytohemagglutinin （PHA） than in those without PHA before surgery. However, the difference disappeared following OLT. Furthermore, INF-γ and TNF-α could not be detected in most patients at wk 4 and none at wk 8 after OLT. The HBV detection rate and virus load in PBMC before and 2, 4 wk after surgery were fluctuated （HBV detected rate： 51.4%, 13.3%, 50% respectively; HBV DNA： 3.55±0.674 log（10） copies/mL vs 3.00±0.329 log（10） copies/mL vs 4.608±1.344 log（10） copies/mL, F= 7.582, P= 0.002〈0.05）. HBV DNA in serum was 4.48±1.463 log（10） copies/mL before surgery and 〈 10^3 copies/mL after OLT except for one with 5.72×10^6 copies/mL 4 wk after OLT who was diagnosed as HBV recurrence. Constructions of optimal binary locally repairable codes via intersection subspaces

Locally repairable codes（LRCs）, which can recover any symbol of a codeword by reading only a small number of other symbols, have been widely used in real-world distributed storage systems, such as Microsoft Azure Storage and Ceph Storage Cluster. Since binary linear LRCs can significantly reduce coding and decoding complexity, constructions of binary LRCs are of particular interest. The aim of this paper is to construct dimensional optimal binary LRCs with disjoint local repair groups. We introduce a method to connect intersection subspaces with binary LRCs and construct dimensional optimal binary linear LRCs with locality 2b（b 3） and minimum distance d 6 by employing intersection subspaces deduced from the direct sum. This method will sufficiently increase the number of possible repair groups of dimensional optimal LRCs, thus efficiently expanding the range of the construction parameters while keeping the largest code rates compared with all known binary linear LRCs with minimum distance d 6 and locality 2b.

The Investigation of Data Voting Algorithm for Train Air-Braking System Based on Multi-Classification SVM and ANFIS

The pressure data of the train air braking system is of great significance to accurately evaluate its operation state. In order to overcome the influence of sensor fault on the pressure data of train air braking system, it is necessary to design a set of sensor fault-tolerant voting mechanism to ensure that in the case of a pressure sensor fault, the system can accurately identify and locate the position of the faulty sensor, and estimate the fault data according to other normal data. A fault-tolerant mechanism based on multi-classification support vector machine(SVM) and adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system(ANFIS) is introduced. Multi-classification SVM is used to identify and locate the system fault state, and ANFIS is used to estimate the real data of the fault sensor. After estimation, the system will compare the real data of the fault sensor with the ANFIS estimated data. If it is similar,the system will recognize that there is a false alarm and record it. Then the paper tests the whole mechanism based on the real data. The test shows that the system can identify the fault samples and reduce the occurrence of false alarms.

Stability analysis and stabilization of semi-Markov jump linear systems with unavailable sojourn-time information

This study addresses the stability and stabilization problems of discrete-time semi-Markov jump linear systems(S-MJLSs) with unavailable sojourn-time information. The sojourn-time probability mass functions(S-TPMFs) of discrete-time semi-Markov chains are no longer confined to the geometric distribution, and it is difficult to obtain accurate and comprehensive information for S-TPMFs in practice. This is because S-TPMFs are usually deduced from the statistical characteristics according to the sampled-data, while adequate samples are often costly and time consuming. In this study, when the S-TPMFs for semi-Markov chains are assumed to be unavailable, the σ-error mean square stability is investigated for discrete-time S-MJLSs with some widely used assumptions; for semi-Markov chains, only the transition probability matrix of the embedded chain is used. In addition, the existence conditions of the effective controller are provided for closed-loop systems without using the information of S-TPMFs. Numerical examples are presented to illustrate the validity of the obtained theoretical results.
