Single wall carbon nanotube(SWCNT)/Si heterojunction photodetectors have the advantages of high photoresponse ability and simple structure,however,their detection wavelength range are usually lower than 1100 nm,which limits their application in the infrared *** report a SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector with both a high photoresponse and a detection range up to the infrared band by depositing a Cu nanoparticles(NPs)layer between a SWCNT film and a n-Si *** was found that the Cu NPs produce strong surface plasmon resonance(SPR)under laser irradiation,which breaks through the limitation of Si band gap and greatly improves the photoresponse of the SWCNT/Cu/Si photodetector in the near infrared *** responsivity(R)of the photodetector in the wavelength range of 1850–1200 nm reached 2.2–14.15 mA/W,which is the highest value in the reported plasmon enhanced n-Si based photodetectors,and about 20,000 times higher than that of a SWCNT/Si *** R value for 1550 nm wavelength used in optical communications reached~8.2 mA/W,which is 64%higher than the previously reported values of commonly used *** attribute the significant increase to the strong SPR and low Schottky barrier of Cu with n-Si,which facilitates the generation and transfer of the carriers.

Effect of heat treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of structural steel–mild steel composite plates fabricated by explosion welding

Two dissimilar steel plates,structural steel and mild steel,were joined by explosion welding to form a *** composite was then heat-treated by quenching at 840℃ for 30 min followed by tempering at 200℃ for 3 *** microstructure was investigated under an optical microscope and a scanning electron *** mechanical properties were measured using Vickers microhardness and Charpy impact *** results show a deformed interface with typical wave features at the welding zone,but no defects were ***,the ferrite in the parent plate in the weld zone was elongated due to the strong plastic deformation from the *** heat treatment,the hardness of the flyer plate(structural steel)was over HV0.2800,while that of the parent plate(mild steel)was *** increase in hardness was due to the presence of ***,the average impact energy was increased from 18.5 to 44.0 J following heat treatment;this is because of the formation of recrystallized grains at the weld interface,which is due to the dynamic recovery and local recrystallization,and the strong elemental diffusion that occurred between the two plates.

Ferroelectricity and metallicity are usually believed not to coexist because conducting electrons would screen out static internal electric *** 1965,Anderson and Blount proposed the concept of"ferroelectric metal",however,it is only until recently that very rare ferroelectric metals were ***,by combining high-throughput ab initio calculations and data-driven machine learning method with new electronic orbital based descriptors,we systematically investigated a large family(2964)of two-dimensional(2D)bimetal phosphates,and discovered 60 stable ferroelectrics with out-of-plane polarization,including 16 ferroelectric metals and 44 ferroelectric semiconductors that contain seven *** ferroelectricity origins from spontaneous symmetry breaking induced by the opposite displacements of bimetal atoms,and the full-d-orbital coinage metal elements cause larger displacements and polarization than other *** 2D ferroelectric metals,the odd electrons per unit cell without spin polarization may lead to a half-filled energy band around Fermi level and is responsible for the *** is revealed that the conducting electrons mainly move on a single-side surface of the 2D layer,while both the ionic and electric contributions to polarization come from the other side and are vertical to the above layer,thereby causing the coexistence of metallicity and *** der Waals heterostructures based on ferroelectric metals may enable the change of Schottky barrier height or the Schottky-Ohmic contact type and induce a dramatic change of their vertical transport *** work greatly expands the family of 2D ferroelectric metals and will spur further exploration of 2D ferroelectric metals.

Fluorescent carbon dots synthesized in solid phase and air for application in LEDs

Carbon dots(CDs)have been widely adopted as optical materials because of their excellent luminescent ***,most of the reported synthetic methods are conducted in solvents,especially hydrothermal/solvothermal reactions,leading to intractable problems such as toxic and flammable solvents,complex and inseparable by-products,and dangerously high pressures and ***-phase synthesis of CDs in air is an effective solution to overcome the above issues,but solid reactions always result in uncontrolled growth and agglomeration of *** this study,some inorganic salts are selected as catalysts for synthesizing CDs in solid states and air,which also play as dispersants to hinder CDs *** the meantime,some aromatic derivatives containing hydroxyl and amino groups are chosen as carbon sources,ground with the optimized catalyst,and then heated together in *** production yields are affected by the reaction time and reactant ratio,while the graphitization degrees of the CDs are determined by the reaction *** IG/ID value of their Raman spectra increases from 0.59 to 0.85,and the particle size decreases from 2.5 to 1.4 nm when the synthesis temperature is increased from 200 to 280℃.The as-prepared CDs show emission peaks ranging from 366 to 606 nm,with the photoluminescence(PL)quantum yield up to 53%.Their emission color variation mainly results from different carbon sources,which can be ascribed to the differences in the element composition,functional groups,and graphitic nitrogen content of these *** dispersing CDs of different concentrations into polyvinyl alcohol(PVA)and combining them with blue LEDs,cold,standard,and warm white light emitting devices(WLEDs)are prepared,with a color rendering index(CRI)up to *** the as-prepared CDs have antioxidant ability at high temperature,the as-prepared WLEDs have long lifespans,remaining the effective white luminescence after 72 h continuous work.

Enhanced recovery after surgery program in the patients undergoing hepatectomy for benign liver lesions

Background:Enhanced recovery after surgery(ERAS)has shown effectiveness in terms of reducing the hospital stay and ***,the benefit of ERAS in patients undergoing hepatectomy for benign liver lesions is still ***:ERAS was implemented in our center since March 1st,*** September 2016 to Febru-ary 2018,109 patients were enrolled into the control group,and from March 2018 to June 2019,124 patients were enrolled into the ERAS *** the indicators related to operation,liver functions,and postoperative outcomes were included in the ***:The clinicopathologic baselines were similar in these two groups.A significantly higher propor-tion of patients underwent laparoscopic surgery in the ERAS *** the whole,intraoperative blood loss(100.00 mL vs.200.00 mL,P<0.001),blood transfusion(3.23%vs.10.09%,P=0.033),total bilirubin(17.10μmol/L vs.21.00μmol/L,P=0.041),D-dimer(2.08μg/mL vs.2.57μg/mL,P=0.031),postoperative hospital stay(5.00 d vs.6.00 d,P<0.001),and postoperative morbidity(16.13%vs.32.11%,P=0.008)were significantly shorter or less in the ERAS group than those in the control *** stratified by operation methods,ERAS group showed significantly shorter postoperative hospital stay in both open and laparoscopic operation(both P<0.001).In patients underwent open surgery,ERAS group demonstrated significantly shorter operative duration(131.76±8.75 min vs.160.73±7.23 min,P=0.016),less intra-operative blood loss(200.00 mL vs.450.00 mL,P=0.008)and less postoperative morbidity(16.00%vs.44.44%,P=0.040).Conclusions:ERAS program may be safe and effective for the patients underwent hepatectomy,especially open surgery,for benign liver lesions.

Application of an ultra performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method to the pharmacokinetics study of paeoniflorin-6'-O-benzene sulfonate and its active paeoniflorin metabolite in rat plasma

OBJECTIVE To establish a rapid,simple,precise and sensitive ultra performance liquid chromatography(UPLC) method for determination of paeoniflorin-6'-O-benzene sulfonate(acylated derivative of Pae,CP-25) and its primary metabolite(Pae,M1) in rat plasma,and to investigate the effects of gender,food and disease status on the pharmacokinetics after oral administration in *** Plasma samples and calibrators were extracted with methanol after addition of the internal standard *** evaporation of the methanol layer,the residue was reconstituted in mobile phase,and a 2 μL of the sample was injected into a Waters ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18(2.1 mm × 50 mm,1.7 μm) column for separation at a flow rate of 0.5 mL·min^(-1) at 40℃.The mobile phase was composed of 0.1% formic acid in water and methanol(68∶32,V/V).RESULTS The developed UPLC-MS/MS method was linear in the concentration range of 2-800 mg·L^(-1).Validation of the method proved that the method′s precision,selectivity and stability were all within the acceptable *** study showed that CP-25 could have more extensive distribution in females than that in males but no differences in *** intake could also increase the extent of absorption and decrease the rate of clearance of CP-25 and M1 after oral administration in *** disease status would decrease the absorption of CP-25 in *** single-and multiple-dosing in adjuvant arthritis(AA) model,absorption of CP-25 and M1 was improved with increasing *** The developed UPLC-MS/MS method is sensitive,specific and was successfully applied to the pharmacokinetics of CP-25 and M1 in *** a significant gender,food intake and disease status differences for CP-25 and M1 were observed in this study.
