To reduce the discrepancy between the source and target domains,a new multi-label adaptation network(ML-ANet)based on multiple kernel variants with maximum mean discrepancies is proposed in this *** hidden representations of the task-specific layers in ML-ANet are embedded in the reproducing kernel Hilbert space(RKHS)so that the mean-embeddings of specific features in different domains could be precisely *** kernel functions are used to improve feature distribution efficiency for explicit mean embedding matching,which can further reduce domain *** weather and cross-camera adaptation examinations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of our proposed *** results show that our proposed ML-ANet achieves higher accuracies than the compared state-of-the-art methods for multi-label image classification in both the adverse weather adaptation and cross-camera adaptation *** results indicate that ML-ANet can alleviate the reliance on fully labeled training data and improve the accuracy of multi-label image classification in various domain shift scenarios.

Herein,we unveil the intelligent detection of multiple catechol isomers in complex environments utilizing both laser-induced graphene(LIG)and artificial neural network(ANN).The large scale-up manufacturing of LIG-based sensors(LIGS)with three-electrode configuration on polyimide(PI)is achieved by direct laser-writing and screen-printing *** LIGS shows excellent electrochemical performance toward catechol isomers,i.e.,hydroquinone(1,4-dihydroxybenzene,HQ),catechol(1,2-dihydroxybenzene,CT),and resorcinol(1,3-dihydroxybenzene,RC),with a low limit of detection(LOD)(CC,0.079μmol/L;HQ,0.093μmol/L;RC,1.18μmol/L).Moreover,the ANN model is developed for machine-intelligent to predict concentrations of catechol isomers under an interfering environment via a single *** six unique parameters extracted from the differential pulse voltammetry(DPV)response,the machine learning-based regression provides a coefficient of correlation with 0.998 and is able to correctly predict the total and individual concentrations in complex river ***,this work provides a guide for the preparation and application of LIGS via facile and cost-efficient mass production and the development of an intelligent sensing platform based on the ANN model.

Background Fertility declines in high-parity *** study investigated whether parity-dependent declines in embryonic survival and reproductive performance could be restored by dietary coenzyme Q10(CoQ10)*** Two experiments were *** Exp.1,30 young sows that had completed their 2nd parity and 30 high-parity sows that had completed their 10^(th)parity,were fed either a control diet(CON)or a CON diet supple-mented with 1 g/kg CoQ10(+CoQ10)from mating until slaughter at day 28 of *** Exp.2,a total of 314 post-weaning sows with two to nine parities were fed the CON or+CoQ10 diets from mating throughout *** In Exp.1,both young and high-parity sows had a similar number of corpora lutea,but high-parity sows had lower plasma CoQ10 concentrations,down-regulated genes involved with de novo CoQ10 synthesis in the endome-trium tissues,and greater levels of oxidative stress markers in plasma and endometrium ***-parity sows had fewer total embryos and alive embryos,lower embryonic survival,and greater embryo mortality than young *** CoQ10 supplementation increased the number of live embryos and the embryonic survival rate to levels simi-lar to those of young sows,as well as lowering the levels of oxidative stress *** Exp.2,sows showed a parity-dependent decline in plasma CoQ10 levels,and sows with more than four parities showed a progressive decline in the number of total births,live births,and piglets born *** supplementation with CoQ10 increased the number of total births,live births,and born effective,and decreased the intra-litter covariation coefficients and the percentage of sows requiring farrowing assistance during *** Dietary CoQ10 supplementation can improve the embryonic survival and reproductive performance of gestating sows with high parity,probably by improving the development of uterine function.

As the proportion of renewable energy(RE)increases,the inertia and the primary frequency regulation(FR)capability of the power system ***,ensuring frequency security in the scheduling model has become a new technical requirement in power systems with a high share of *** to a shortage of conventional synchronous generators,the frequency support of multi-source converters has become an indispensable part of the system frequency resources,especially variable-speed wind turbine generation(WTG)and battery energy storage(BES).Quantitative expression of the FR capability of multi-source converters is necessary to construct frequency-constrained scheduling ***,the frequency support performance of these converter-interfaced devices is related to their working states,operation modes,and parameters,and the complex coupling of these factors has not been fully exploited in existing *** this study,we propose an integrated frequency-constrained scheduling model considering the coordination of FR capabilities from multi-source *** FR control strategies and variable FR parameters for WTG with or without reserved power are modeled,and multi-target allocation of BES capacity between tracking dispatch instruction and emergency FR is ***,the variable FR capabilities of WTG and BES are embedded into the integrated frequency-constrained scheduling *** nonlinear constraints for frequency security are precisely linearized through an improved iteration-based *** effectiveness of the proposed model is verified in a modified IEEE 24-bus standard *** results suggest that the coordinated participation of BES and WTG in FR can effectively reduce the cost of the scheduling model while meeting frequency security constraints.

Flexible electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding films with high stability have shown promising prospect in harsh working conditions such as military,communication,and special protection ***,flexible aramid nanofibers@polypyrrole(ANF@PPy)films with high stability were easily achieved by the in-situ growth of PPy on the surface of ANF and the subsequent pressured-filtration film-forming *** the amount of pyrrole(Py)monomer is 40μL,the ANF@PPy(AP40)film exhibited excellent EMI shielding performance with shielding effectiveness(SE)of 41.69 dB,tensile strength of 96.01 MPa,and fracture strain of 21.95%at the thickness of 75.76μ***,the anticipated EMI shielding performance can be maintained even after being heated at 200℃in air,soaked in 3.5%NaCl solution,repeated folding for one million times,or burned directly,indicating superior environmental durability in harsh ***,it is believed that the ANF@PPy films with high stability offer a facile solution for practical protection for high-performance EMI shielding applications.

As a novel method to reduce the temperature during electron beam welding,and to subsequently inhibit interfacial reaction between SiC and Al matrix,the electron beam surface heating-diffusion bonding is proposed for joining SiC particle reinforced aluminum alloy metal-matrix composite of 45 vol.%SiC/2024 *** defocused electron beam was used to heat the base metal surface,and the simultaneous pressure was applied to the butt surface to achieve *** base metals were successfully joined by *** maximum temperature of the whole joint was effectively decreased to less than 650°*** Gibbs free energy change of interfacial reaction was calculated,meaning a positive value reaching 218 kJ/mol and a consequently prominent inhibitory effect on the formation of brittle Al_(4)C_(3)that was proved by microstructural *** tensile strength for the bonded joint was increased by 35%compared to that for ordinary welded *** the TC4 layer was added,TiC strengthening particles were formed with the deficiency of Al_(4)C_(3),corresponding to the significantly increased tensile strength of 63%of base metal(154 MPa).

The taste and odor analysis of the first,second,fourth and sixth crops of laver(Porphyra yezoensis)was obtained by electronic tongue,taste-related compound,electronic nose and gas chromatography-ion mobility spectrometer(GC-IMS).Through the detection of the electronic tongue,the pleasant tastes such as umami and richness are more intense in the early crops,which is consistent with the analysis results of free amino acids and flavored *** electronic nose can clearly distinguish between different laver ***-IMS separated and identified 36 volatile components from lavers,mainly including aldehydes,ketones,alcohols,esters,acids and aromatic *** the early harvested crops,nonanal,octanal,hexanal and benzaldehyde have a significant contribution to odor because of the high concentration and low threshold of these *** the later harvested crops,the concentration of most ketones and some aldehydes increased.1-Octen-3-ol,malondialdehyde and heptanal constituted the main odor characteristics.

Background:Despite the crucial role of nitrogen(N)availability in carbon(C)cycling in terrestrial ecosystems,soil organic C(SOC)mineralization in different sizes of soil aggregates under various land use types and their responses to N addition is not well *** investigate the responses of soil C mineralization in different sized aggregates and land use types to N addition,an incubation experiment was conducted with three aggregate-size classes(2000,250,and 53μm)and two land use types(a Chinese fir plantation and a paddy land).Results:Cumulative C mineralization of the<53-μm fractions was the highest and that of microaggregates was the lowest in both forest and paddy soils,indicating that soil aggregates enhanced soil C stability and reduced the loss of soil *** C mineralization in all sizes of aggregates treated with N addition decreased in forest soils,but that in microaggregates and the<53-μm fraction increased in paddy soils treated with 100μgNg−***,the effect sizes of N addition on C mineralization of forest soils were below zero,but those of paddy soils were above *** data indicated that N addition decreased SOC mineralization of forest soils but increased that of paddy ***:Soil aggregates play an important role in soil C sequestration,and decrease soil C loss through the increase of soil C stability,regardless of land use types.N addition has different effects on soil C mineralization in different land use *** results highlight the importance of soil aggregates and land use types in the effects of N deposition on the global terrestrial ecosystem C cycle.

Among the various anodes,Li_(3)VO_(4)is a potential intercalation kind anode used in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs)that exhibits safer discharge voltage and higher capacity than graphite,a lower voltage plateau than Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12),and smaller volume difference in the Li^(+)intercalation/deintercalation process than metals and ***,the comparatively low electronic conductivity,low initial coulombic efficiency(ICE)and serious capacity decay make the Li_(3)VO_(4)anode unviable when it comes to practical ***,this paper reviews the research progress of Li_(3)VO_(4)in recent years,mainly including the strategies of developing different synthesis methods to construct unique morphology,through coating,compositing or elemental doping to increase the ICE,electronic conductivity and the cycle ***,the application of Li_(3)VO_(4)anode materials in other energy storage systems is ***,the development prospect and challenge of Li_(3)VO_(4)anodes are discussed.
