A high-carbon steel joint,SK5（0.84 wt% C）,was successfully welded by friction stir welding（FSW）,both without and with a gas torch,in order to control the cooling rate during *** welding,the weld zone comprised gray and black regions,corresponding to microstructural variation：a martensite structure and a duplex structure of ferrite and cementite,*** volume fraction of the martensite structure and the Vickers hardness in the welds were decreased with the using of the gas torch,which was related with the lower cooling rate.

BACKGROUND Atrophic gastritis is characterized by loss of appropriate glands and reduction in gastric secretory function due to chronic inflammatory processes in gastric mucosa. Moreover, atrophic gastritis is considered as a precancerous condition of gastric cancer. However, little is known about the molecular mechanism underlying gastric mucosal atrophy and its contribution to gastric ***, we hypothesized that transcription factor NKX6.3 might be involved in maintaining gastric epithelial homeostasis by regulating amyloid β(Aβ)*** To determine whether NKX6.3 might protect against gastric mucosal atrophy by regulating Aβ *** We identified NKX6.3 depletion induced cell death by cell count and Western blot assay. Production and mechanism of Aβ oligomer were analyzed by enzymelinked immunosorbent assay, Western blot, immunoprecipitation, real-timequantitative polymerase chain reaction and immunofluorescence analysis. We further validated the correlation between expression of NKX6.3, Helicobacter pylori CagA, Aβ oligomer, apolipoprotein E(ApoE), and β-secretase 1(Bace1) in 55 gastric *** NKX6.3 depletion increased both adherent and floating cell populations in HFE-145 cells. Expression levels of cleaved caspase-3,-9, and poly ADP ribose polymerase were elevated in floating HFE-145^(shNKX6.3) cells. NKX6.3 depletion produced Aβ peptide oligomers, and increased expression of ApoE, amyloid precursor protein, Aβ, Bace1, low-density lipoprotein receptor, nicastrin, high mobility group box1, and receptor for advanced glycosylation end product proteins. In immunoprecipitation assay, γ-secretase complex was stably formed only in HFE-145^(shNKX6.3) cells. In gastric mucosae with atrophy, expression of Aβpeptide oligomer, ApoE, and Bace1 was detected and inversely correlated with NKX6.3 expression. Recently,to build a smart factory,research has been conducted to perform fault diagnosis and defect detection based on vibration and noise signals generated when a mechanical system is driven using deep-learning technology,a field of artificial *** of the related studies apply various audio-feature extraction techniques to one-dimensional raw data to extract sound-specific features and then classify the sound by using the derived spectral image as a training ***,compared to numerical raw data,learning based on image data has the disadvantage that creating a training dataset is very ***,we devised a two-step data preprocessing method that efficiently detects machine anomalies in numerical raw *** the first preprocessing process,sound signal information is analyzed to extract features,and in the second preprocessing process,data filtering is performed by applying the proposed *** efficient dataset was built formodel learning through a total of two steps of data *** addition,both showed excellent performance in the training accuracy of the model that entered each dataset,but it can be seen that the time required to build the dataset was 203 s compared to 39 s,which is about 5.2 times than when building the image dataset.

The ability to capture the chemical signatures of biomolecules(i.e.,electron-transfer dynamics)in living cells will provide an entirely new perspective on biology and *** can be accomplished using nanoscale optical antennas that can collect,resonate and focus light from outside the cell and emit molecular ***,we describe biologically inspired nanoscale optical antennas that utilize the unique topologies of plant viruses(and thus,are called gold plant viruses)for molecular fingerprint *** electromagnetic calculations for these gold viruses indicate that capsid morphologies permit high amplification of optical scattering energy compared to a smooth *** experimental measurements of various gold viruses based on four different plant viruses,we observe highly enhanced optical cross-sections and the modulation of the resonance wavelength depending on the viral ***,in label-free molecular imaging,we successfully obtain higher sensitivity(by a factor of up to 10^(6))than can be achieved using similar-sized *** virtue of the inherent functionalities of capsids and the plasmonic characteristics of the gold layer,a gold virus-based antenna will enable cellular targeting,imaging and drug delivery.

LaAlO_(3)/SrTiO_(3)(LAO/STO)heterostructures have shown a strong persistent photoconductivity(PPC)at room *** abnormally strong PPC has attracted immense research interest due to its possible applications in optically-tunable electronic *** its promise,the fundamental understanding of the PPC in the LAO/STO heterostructures is still ***,we report that the giant PPC origi-nates from the photo-induced valence change in oxygen vacancies near the LAO/STO *** spec-tral analysis of the photocurrent and the model-fitting study consistently show that the ionized oxygen vacancies near the interface are neutralized during the electron relaxation *** hinder the complete relaxation of the photoexcited electrons by the deeply-located oxygen vacancies and result in the strong *** change in the ionization state distribution of the oxygen vacancies is probed by the per-sistent noise behavior at the frequency between 1 kHz and 20 kHz *** results provide insight into the role of oxygen vacancies in influencing the internal charge distribution and triggering the PPC phenomena in complex oxide heterostructures.

An ultrathin SrTiO3 dielectric layer is optimized through Al doping to solve the problems existing in development of ultra-high-k oxide MOS *** post-deposition annealing,Al doping induces changes in the electronic structure of SrTiO3,thereby effectively reducing leakage current to 80) of ultrathin SrTMO3 MOS *** titanate(SrTiO3) is a high-k material but its bandgap is smaller than that of other oxide dielectrics(e.g.,SiO2,Al2 O3).Consequently,an ultrathin SrTiO3 film may have a high tunneling leakage current,which is not suitable for capacitor-based *** improve the performance of metal-oxide-semiconductor(MOS) capacitors using SrTiO3,an approach based on homogenous and uniform aluminum doping to SrTiO3 through co-sputtering is *** bandgap of a pristine SrTiO3 film showed an increase of 0.5 eV after Al ***,Al doping decreased the leakage current of SrTiO3/Si-based MOS capacitors by more than five orders of magnitude(at the level of nanoampere per square centimeter).Importantly,a dielectric constant of 81.3 and equivalent oxide thickness less than 5 A were achieved in an 8-nm-thick Al-doped SrTiO3 film owing to changes in its crystal structure and conduction band edge electronic ***,the obtained data show the effectiveness of the proposed approach for solving the problems existing in the development of ultra-high-k oxide MOS capacitors.

AIM:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of topical 0.05%cyclosporine nano-emulsion in the treatment of dry eye syndrome(DES)with meibomian gland dysfunction(MGD).METHODS:This prospective study included 64 patients with DES and MGD who were randomly assigned to three groups:Group 1(n=24,conventional cyclosporine),Group 2(n=21,nano-emulsion cyclosporine),and Group 3(n=19,control).Lid margin telangiectasia(LMT),meibomian gland secretion(MGS),conjunctival injection(CI),corneal staining(CS),tear break-up time(TBUT),Schirmer test I(STI),Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI),and lipid layer thickness(LLT)was evaluated at 4,8,and 12wk of ***:In Group 3(control),LMT,CS,and CI improved after 8wk,MGS,TBUT after 12wk of *** Group 1(conventional cyclosporine),LMT,MGS,and TBUT improved significantly after 4wk,whereas CS,CI,STI,and LLT improved significantly after 8wk,and OSDI at *** Group 2(nano-cyclosporine),LMT,MGS,CS,CI,TBUT,and OSDI significantly improved after 4wk,and STI after ***,LLT was significantly higher than other groups after ***:Cyclosporine and nano-cyclosporine shows significant improvement in DES with MGD than the control *** contrast,the nano-cyclosporine group shows more statistically improved CI and CS at 4wk,especially LLT at 4,8,and 12wk compared to the conventional cyclosporine group.

Numerous studies highlight advantages of electrospun scaffolds in bone tissue engineering,in which cellular behavior is tightly affected by fiber topographical cues of ***,the classic electrospinning setup limits a desired presentation of biomimetic fibrous microenvironments that sense mechanosignaling and regulate stem cell *** aims of this study were to fabricate advanced asspun scaffolds presenting tree-like microfiber/nanonet networks and to evaluate their regulatory potentials on behavior of human mesenchymal stem cells(h MSCs)and bone *** we developed a novel electrospinning setup that allowed the presentation of patterned Trunk microfibers(TMF)and/or branched nanonet fibers(BNn Fs)in biomimetic fibrous *** the cellular mechanisms,anisotropichierarchical topography of TMF controlled behavior of h MSCs through focal adhesion formation and Yesassociated protein(YAP)induction,whereas BNn F disturbed such mechanosensing responses in the *** fiber microenvironment-related expression and nuclear localization of YAP *** correlated with the potentials of as-spun scaffolds to enhance osteogenic differentiation of the h MSCs and alveolar bone defect healing in an animal ***,this study provides an advanced approach of the modified electrospinning setup for presentation of biomimetic fibrillar microenvironments in as-spun scaffolds along with their application in stem cell behavior regulation and regenerative tissue engineering.

Three heat shock protein （HSP） genes （hsp70, hsc70, hsp90） were partially cloned from the brown planthopper Nilaparvata lugens and the small brown planthopper Laodelphax striatellus （Homoptera： Delphacidae）, which are serious pests of the rice plant. Sequence comparisons at the deduced amino acid level showed that the three HSPs of planthoppers were most homologous to corresponding HSPs of dipteran and lepidopteran species. Identities of both heat shock cognate 70 and HSP90 were higher than HSP70 in both species. Identity of the HSP70 between the two planthopper species was only 81%, a value much lower than seen among fly and moth groups. Effects of heat and cold shocks were demonstrated on expression of the three hsp genes in the two planthopper species. Heat shock （40 ℃） upregulated the hsp90 level but did not change the hsc70 level in either the nymph and adult stages of either species. On the other hand, the hsp70 level was only upregulated in L. striatellus. This heat shock response was prompt and lasted only for 1 h after treatment. In contrast, cold shock at 4℃ did not change the expression levels of any hsp in either species.
