Both morphology and composition have a great influence on the properties and functions of materials,however,how to rational modulate both of them to achieve their synergistic effects has been a longstanding ***,we demonstrate a competitive assembling strategy for the construction of metal-free graphite carbon nitride(CN)homojunctions in which morphology and composition can be easily controlled simultaneously by only changing the ratio of assembly raw *** homojunctions are comprised of porous nanotubular S-doped CN(SCN)grafted with CN nanovesicles,which are derived from thermal polycondensation of melamine-thiocyanuric acid(M-T)/melamine-cyanuric acid(M-C)supramolecular hybrid *** unique architecture and component engineering endows the novel SCN-CN homojunction with abundant active sites,enhanced visible trapping ability,and intimate interface *** a result,the synthesized SCN-CN homojunctions demonstrate high photocatalytic activity for hydrogen evolution and pollutant *** developed strategy opens up intriguing opportu-nities for the rational construction of intricate metal-free heterostructures with controllable architecture and interfacial contact for applications in energy-related fields.

Let G be a finite group generated by S and C(G,S) the Cayley digraphs of G with connection set *** this paper,we give some sufficient conditions for the existence of hamiltonian circuit in C(G,S),where G=Zm×H is a semiproduct of Zmby a subgroup H of *** particular,if m is a prime,then the Cayley digraph of G has a hamiltonian circuit unless G=Zm×*** addition,we introduce a new digraph operation,called φ-semiproduct of Γ1by Γ2and denoted by Γ1×Γ_φΓ2,in terms of mapping φ:V(Γ2)→{1,-1}.Furthermore we prove that C(Zm,{a})×_φ C(H,S) is also a Cayley digraph if φ is a homomorphism from H to{1,-1} ≤ Zm~*,which produces some classes of Cayley digraphs that have hamiltonian circuits.

Background:Distinguishing anorectal malignant melanoma from low rectal cancer remains challenging because of the overlap of clinical symptoms and imaging *** aim to investigate whether combining quantitative and qualitative magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)features could differentiate anorectal malignant melanoma from low rectal ***:Thirty-seven anorectal malignant melanoma and 98 low rectal cancer patients who underwent preoperative rectal MRI from three hospitals were retrospectively *** patients were divided into the primary cohort(N=84)and validation cohort(N=51).Quantitative image analysiswas performed on T1-weighted(T1WI),T2-weighted(T2WI),and contrast-enhanced T1-weighted imaging(CE-T1WI).The subjective qualitative MRI findings were evaluated by two radiologists in *** analysis was performed using stepwise logistic *** discrimination performance was assessed by the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)with a 95%confidence interval(CI).Results:The skewness derived from T2WI(T2WI-skewness)showed the best discrimination performance among the entire quantitative image features for differentiating anorectal malignant melanoma from low rectal cancer(primary cohort:AUC=0.852,95%CI 0.788–0.916;validation cohort:0.730,0.645–0.815).Multivariable analysis indicated that T2WI-skewness and the signal intensity of T1WI were independent factors,and incorporating both factors achieved good discrimination performance in two cohorts(primary cohort:AUC=0.913,95%CI 0.868–0.958;validation cohort:0.902,0.844–0.960).Conclusions:Incorporating T2WI-skewness and the signal intensity of T1WI achieved good performance for differentiating anorectal malignant melanoma from low rectal *** quantitative image analysis helps improve diagnostic accuracy.

Rice canopy temperature is affected by nitrogen fertilizer

Canopy temperature strongly influences crop yield formation and is closely related to plant physiological ***, the effects of nitrogen treatment on canopy temperature and rice growth have yet to be comprehensively examined. We conducted a two-year field experiment with three rice varieties(HD-5, NJ-9108, and YJ-805) and three nitrogen treatments(zero-N control(CK), 200 kg ha~(–1)(MN), and 300 kg ha~(–1)(HN)). We measured canopy temperature using a drone equipped with a high-precision camera at the six stages of the growth period. Generally,canopy temperature was significantly higher for CK than for MN and HN during the tillering, jointing, booting, and heading stages. The temperature was not significantly different among the nitrogen treatments between the milky and waxy stages. The canopy temperature of different rice varieties was found to follow the order: HD-5>NJ-9108>YJ-805, but the difference was not significant. The canopy temperature of rice was mainly related to plant traits, such as shoot fresh weight(correlation coefficient r=–0.895), plant water content(–0.912), net photosynthesis(–0.84), stomatal conductance(–0.91), transpiration rate(–0.90), and leaf stomatal area(–0.83). A structural equation model(SEM) showed that nitrogen fertilizer was an important factor affecting the rice canopy *** study revealed:(1) A suite of plant traits was associated with the nitrogen effects on canopy temperature,(2) the heading stage was the best time to observe rice canopy temperature, and(3) at that stage, canopy temperature was negatively correlated with rice yield, panicle number, and grain number per panicle. This study suggests that canopy temperature can be a convenient and accurate indicator of rice growth and yield prediction.

Single-atom catalysts (SACs), characterized by exceptionally high atom efficiency, have garnered significant attention across various catalytic reactions. Recent studies have showcased SACs with robust capabilities for precise catalysis, specifically targeting reactions along designated pathways. This review focuses on the advances in the precise activation and reconstruction of chemical bonds on SACs, including precise activation of C–O and C–H bonds and selective couplings involving C–C and C–N bonds. Our discussion begins with a thorough exploration of the factors that render SACs skilled in precise catalytic processes, encompassing the narrow d-band electronic state of single atom site resulting in the adsorption tendency, isolate site resulting in unique adsorption structure, and synergy effect of a single atom site with its neighbors. Subsequently, we elaborate on the applications of SACs in electrocatalysis and thermocatalysis including four prominent reactions, namely, electrochemical CO_(2) reduction, urea electrochemical synthesis, CO_(2) hydrogenation, and CH4 activation. Then the concept of rational design of SACs for precisely controlling reaction pathways is discussed from the aspects of pore structure design, support-metal strong interaction, and support hydrophilic/hydrophobic. Finally, we summarize the challenges encountered by SACs in the field of precise catalytic processes and outline prospects for their further development in this domain.
