The enantioseparation of anti-hepatitis new drug （±）-bicyclol was performed by optically active alkaloid. The alcoholic acid, the hydrolysate of bicyclol was reacted with optically active alkaloid, such as brucine, strychnine, quinidine etc., the diastereoisomeric salts were obtained by fractional recrystallization, then separately decomposed and esterified to obtain the two enantiomers of bicyclol. The pharmacological study showed that the effect of （-）-bicyclol was more potent than racemic bicyclol two times and the potency of （＋）-bicyclol was incative.

BACKGROUND： Studies have shown that abnormal innervation is an important factor impacting occurrence and development of pathological pain in endometriosis. OBJECTIVE： To observe uterine innervation of adenomyosis mice and to analyze the cause of innervation changes due to nerve growth factor （NGF） expression, inflammation, and vascularization. DESIGN, TIME AND SETTING： This randomized, controlled, animal experiment was performed at the Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, and Central Laboratory of Zhongshan Hospital, Fudan University from March to December 2008. MATERIALS： Tamoxifen was provided by Fudan Forward, China. Rabbit anti-mouse NGF was purchased from Santa Cruz Corporation, USA; rabbit anti-protein gene product 9.5 （PGP9.5） and rabbit anti-substance P （SP） were purchased from Chemicon, USA. METHODS： A total of 40 newborn ICR mice were randomly assigned to adenomyosis model and control groups, with 20 animals in each group. Mice in the adenomyosis model group were orally administrated 2.7 μmol/kg tamoxifen on days 2-5 after birth, while the controls were not treated. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： Both uteri from all mice were harvested at days 135-145 after birth Expressions of polyclonal PGP9.5 and SP were immunohistochemically detected to demonstrate pan- and sensory nerve fibers. Microvessel density was quantified in the endometrium and myometrium using immunochemical staining for polyclonal rabbit anti-CD31, which stained vessels. Gene expression for NGF, high-affinity tyrosine kinase receptor （trkA）, p75 neuretrophin receptor （p75NTR）, bradykinin receptor-1 （BKR-1）, and 2 （BKR-2）, as well as substance P receptor （neurokininl receptor, NK1-R）, were detected by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction. NGF-13 protein expression was detected by Western blot analysis. Background We managed to assess and confirm the risk factors for mortality after coronary artery bypass grafting （CABG） operations so as to map out the proper guidance of surgical strategy especially in patients with low left ventncular ejection fraction （LVEF） in domestic polyclinic like ours. Methods Five hundred and forty-eight consecutive patients underwent CABG from December 1999 through August 2005 were analyzed retrospectively. Eighty-nine cases had an LVEF of 40% or less. All together twenty-two candidate factors were evaluated for their association with perioperative death using univariate and multivariate stepwise Logistic analysis. Results When data from all the patients who had undergone CABG were taken into account, LVEF, left ventricular end diastolic diameter （LVEDD）, mitral regurgitation, aneurysm of the heart wall, mitral repair/replacement, resection of aneurysm, concomitant aortic valve replacement, and perioperative intra-aortic balloon counter-pulsation （IABP）, left ventricular assist device （LVAD） and cardiopulmonary bypass （CPB） all showed an association with perioperative death in univariate analysis, while an LVEF of 〉40%, on the other hand, appeared to be a protective factor. In multivariate analysis, moderate to severe mitral regurgitation, aneurysm of the heart wall, repair of septal perforation and aortic regurgitation were proved to be risk factors. When the analysis was restricted to patients with an LVEF of 40% or less, such variables as age, LVEDD, mitral regurgitation, mitral repair/replacement, IABP, and CPB were qualified as risk factors in a univariate analysis. Age, moderate mitral regurgitation, aneurysm of the heart wall, CPB, left main coronary artery disease and female were associated with pefioperative death in a multivariate logistic regression analysis. BACKGROUND Inositol is a hexa-carbon polyol,a naturally soluble vitamin,often found in various *** To discuss the impact of different stereoisomers of inositol on insulin sensitivity of gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)*** Eighty GDM pregnant women were divided into four groups according to their treatment received:A group(placebo folic acid 400μg/d),B group[myo-inositol(MI)1500 mg,twice a day],C group[D-chiro-inositol(DCI)250 mg,twice a day],and D group(inositol MI and inositol DCI 1500 mg/250 mg,twice a day).Each patient routinely used dietary guidance adjustments and did some safe and effective aerobic exercise in addition to receiving placebo or inositol from GDM diagnosis to ***,total cholesterol,fasting plasma glucose,oral glucose tolerance test postprandial glucose(2 h postprandial blood glucose),fasting insulin,fasting plasma glucose,and glycosylated hemoglobin levels and Homeostasis Model Assessment-insulin resistance(HOMA-IR)and Homeostasis Model Assessment-insulin sensitivity index(HOMA-ISI)scores were determined before treatment and 8 wk after treatment *** maternal and infant outcomes,including hypoglycemia,excessive amniotic fluid,premature infants,macrosomia,fetal distress etc.,were also *** There was no statistical difference in the baseline data of each *** levels of 2 h blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting insulin,total cholesterol,and triglyceride in the B,C,and D groups were significantly lower than those in the control group(A group)after treatment(P<0.05).Moreover,compared with the B group,the level of the above indexes in the C and D groups decreased more significantly,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The HOMA-IR of B,C,and D groups decreased significantly,and the HOMA-ISI increased significantly compared with the A group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),among which the decrease of HOMA-IR and the increase of HOMA-ISI

The prevalence of irritable bowel syndrome （IBS） and associated factors, especially psychological and lifestyle factors, in nurses in China have not been investigated previously. The aims of this study were to assess the prevalence of IBS in nurses, to evaluate whether factors, such as psychological disorders, are associated with IBS, and to determine whether psychological disorders can influence the severity of symptoms of IBS and quality of life （QOL）. A cross-sectional study was conducted for Chinese nurses from November 2012 to February 2013. Partici- pants were asked to complete questionnaires. The prevalence of IBS was 17.4%. The revised symptom checklist 90 （SCL-90-R） scores were significantly higher for nurses with IBS than for those without IBS （P〈0.001）, and no difference in scores between IBS subtypes was found （F=1.893, P=-0.142）. The scores of QOL for nurses with and without IBS were 77.18±21.93 and 88.44±11.89 （P〈0.001）, respectively. Psychological disorders did not show statistically significant correlations with severity of symptoms of IBS or QOL. Alcohol consumption, low level of exercise, and psychological disorders were risk factors for IBS. In summary, nurses in China show a high prevalence of IBS. Psy- chological disorders and some related lifestyle factors are probably responsible for the development of IBS in nurses.

In modern VLSI technology, hundreds of thousands of arithmetic units fit on a 1cm^2 chip. The challenge is supplying them with instructions and data. Stream architecture is able to solve the problem well. However, the applications suited for typical stream architecture are limited. This paper presents the definition of regular stream and irregular stream, and then describes MASA （Multiple-morphs Adaptive Stream Architecture） prototype system which supports different execution models according to applications＇ stream characteristics. This paper first discusses MASA architecture and stream model, and then explores the features and advantages of MASA through mapping stream applications to hardware. Finally MASA is evaluated by ten benchmarks. The result is encouraging.
