Retrograde approach for the recanalization of coronary chronic total occlusion： collateral selection and collateral related complication

Background The retrograde approach through collaterals has been applied in the treatment of chronic total occlusion （CTO） lesions during percutaneous recanalization of coronary arteries. This study was to investigate the success rate of recanalization and collateral related complications in patients when using the retrograde approach. Methods Eighty-four cases subjected to retrograde approach identified from July 2005 to July 2012 were included in this study. Patient characteristics, procedural outcomes and in-hospital clinical events were evaluated. Results Mean age of the patient was （59.6＋11.2） years old and 91.7% were men. The target CTO lesions were distributed among the left anterior descending artery in 45 cases （53.5%）, left circumflex artery in one case （1.2%）, right coronary artery in 34 cases （40.5%）, and left main in four cases （4.8%）. The overall success rate of recanalization was 79.8%. The septal collateral was three times more frequently used for retrograde access than the epicardial collateral, 68/84 （81%） vs. 16/84 （19%）. Successful wire passage through the collateral channel was achieved in 58 （72.6%） patients. The success rate of recanalization was 93.1% （54/58） in patients with and 50% （13/26） in patients without successful retrograde wire passage of the collateral channel （P 〈0.01）. Successful retrograde wire passage through the collaterals was achieved in 49 of 68 septal collaterals （72.1%） and in 9 of 16 epicardial collaterals （56.3%）（P=NS）. There was no significant difference between the septal collateral group and the epicardial group in the success rate of recanalization after retrograde wire crossing the collaterals （91.8% vs. 100%, P 〉0.05）. CART or reverse CART technique was used in 15 patients, and 14 patients （93.3%） were recanalized successfully. The output of new energy represented by wind power and photovoltaic power features volatility and randomness. It is a practical approach to use the guaranteed rate with statistical characteristics to analyze the output coefficient of new energy. However, there is a lack of analysis and demonstration on the value of the new energy output guaranteed rate. To solve this problem, a selection method for the new energy output guaranteed rate considering optimal energy storage configuration is proposed. First, the influence of the new energy output guaranteed rate on the new energy output coefficient is analyzed. Secondly, with the goal of minimizing the comprehensive costs, an optimal configuration model of energy storage based on the output guaranteed rate of new energy is constructed, and particle swarm optimization is used for the optimization solution. Then, according to the optimal energy storage configuration results under different guaranteed rates, a reasonable new energy output guaranteed rate is determined by maximizing the comprehensive benefits obtained from energy storage. Finally, an example applied to the power grid in an area of Guangdong in Southern China is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

This paper proposes a modified iterative learning control(MILC)periodical feedback-feedforward algorithm to reduce the vibration of a rotor caused by coupled unbalance and parallel *** control of the vibration of the rotor is provided by an active magnetic actuator(AMA).The iterative gain of the MILC algorithm here presented has a self-adjustment based on the magnitude of the *** filters are adopted to extract the synchronous(1×Ω)and twice rotational frequency(2×Ω)components of the rotor *** the notch frequency of the filter and the size of feedforward storage used during the experiment have a real-time adaptation to the rotational *** method proposed in this work can provide effective suppression of the vibration of the rotor in case of sudden changes or fluctuations of the rotor *** and experiments using the MILC algorithm proposed here are carried out and give evidence to the feasibility and robustness of the technique proposed.

Dear Editor,This letter focuses on the distributed optimal containment control of continuous-time multi-agent systems(CTMASs)with respect to the minimum-energy performance index over fixed *** achieve this,we firstly investigate the optimal containment control problem using the inverse optimal control method,where all states of followers asymptotically converge to the convex hull spanned by the leaders while some quadratic performance indexes get minimized.A sufficient condition for existence of the distributed optimal containment control protocol is *** introducing the parametric algebraic Riccati equation(PARE),it is strictly proved that the global performance index can be used to approximate the standard minimumenergy performance index as the parameters tends to *** consequence,the standard minimum-energy cooperative containment control can be solved by local steady state feedback protocols.

The Hubble tension persists as a challenge in *** early dark energy(EDE)models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the Hubble tension,fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions,such as the S_(8)*** that a negative dark matter(DM)equation of state(EoS)parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ_(8)parameter,we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter(CDM)with DM characterized by a constant EoS w_(dm)(referred to as WDM hereafter).We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model,along with three other models:the axion-like EDE model,ΛWDM,and Λ*** constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background,baryon acoustic oscillations,and the Pantheon compilation,as well as a prior on H_(0)(i.e.H_(0)=73.04±1.04,based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al)and a Gaussianized prior on S_(8)(i.e.S_(8)=0.766±0.017,determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOSS+2dLenS).We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the Hubble tension to~1.4σ,it still exacerbates the S_(8)tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

Objective:To explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture(EA) in promoting recovery of the facial function with the involvement of autophagy,glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor(GDNF),and phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)/mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR) signaling ***:Seventy-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly allocated into the control,sham-operated,facial nerve injury(FNI),EA,EA+3-methyladenine(3-MA),and EA+GDNF antagonist groups using a random number table,with 12 rats in each *** FNI rat model was established with facial nerve crushing *** intervention was conducted at Dicang(ST 4),Jiache(ST 6),Yifeng(SJ 17),and Hegu(LI 4) acupoints for 2 *** Simone’s 10-Point Scale was utilized to monitor the recovery of facial *** histopathological evaluation of facial nerves was performed using hematoxylin-eosin(HE) *** levels of Beclin-1,light chain 3(LC3),and P62 were detected by immunohistochemistry(IHC),immunofluorescence,and reverse transcriptionpolymerase chain reaction,***,IHC was also used to detect the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and ***:The facial functional scores were significantly increased in the EA group than the FNI group(P<0.05 or P<0.01).HE staining showed nerve axons and myelin sheaths,which were destroyed immediately after the injury,were recovered with EA *** expressions of Beclin-1 and LC3 were significantly elevated and the expression of P62 was markedly reduced in FNI rats(P<0.01);however,EA treatment reversed these abnormal changes(P<0.01).Meanwhile,EA stimulation significantly increased the levels of GDNF,Rai,PI3K,and mTOR(P<0.01).After exogenous administration with autophagy inhibitor 3-MA or GDNF antagonist,the repair effect of EA on facial function was attenuated(P<0.05 or P<0.01).Conclusions:EA could promote the recovery of facial function and repair the facial nerve damages in a rat model of *** may exert this neuroreparative effect through

Wearable electromagnetic interference(EMI)shielding fabrics with excellent electromagnetic shielding performance,oxidation resistance,and structural stability are highly demanded for the rapid development of electronic devices and wireless *** are metallic conductive materials with exceptional EMI shielding properties,but they are prone to oxidation in air and have poor structural stability and durability on fabric ***,we present a one-step assembly method to fabricate fabrics coated with MXenes and polymeric sodium alginate(SA)composite(MXene-SA).SA protects MXenes from oxidation and forms a stable interlayer structure by bonding to *** MXene-SA coated fabrics are breathable and flexible,and have a low sheet resistance of 2.12±0.08Ω/sq and a high EMI shielding performance of 37.05 dB at X-band,which is comparable to the best 42.31 ***,the MXene-SA coated fabrics exhibit high structural stability and oxidation resistance under various conditions of sonication disintegration,mechanical abuse,chemical corrosion,and humidity,compared to pure MXenes coated *** believe that the wearable and high-performance MXene-SA fabrics have great potential for the next generation of ultra-portable and wearable EMI shielding products.
