炎症在自体动静脉内瘘(arteriovenous fistula,AVF)血管重塑的早期与晚期阶段均发挥着至关重要的调节作用。作为炎症反应中的重要免疫细胞之一,巨噬细胞具有在微环境中极化为炎症型(M1)和抗炎型(M2)等表型的能力。它们在炎症的发生、发展和消退过程中扮演着关键角色,并在AVF经历手术创伤下及血流动力学改变、缺氧和高脂血症等环境下能发挥重要调控作用,影响AVF的成熟或失功。目前,一些免疫抑制剂和他汀类药物已被证实能够减少巨噬细胞的浸润,从而改善AVF的通畅性。因此,深入了解巨噬细胞在AVF血管重塑中的作用,同时寻找更有效的调控巨噬细胞的方法可能成为提高AVF成熟率和保持通畅性的新方向。

We demonstrate the feasibility of simultancous multi-probe detection for an optcal-resolution photoacoustic microscopy(OR-PAM)***-P AM has elicited the attention of biomedical imaging researchers because of its optical absorption contrast and high spatial resolution with great imaging ***-PAM allows label-free and noninvasive imaging by maximizing the optical absorption of endogenous ***,given the inadequate absoption of some biomolcules,detection sensitivity at the same incident intensity requires *** this study,a modulated continuous wave with power density less than 3mW/cm^(2)(1/4 of the ANSI safety limit)excited the weak photoacoustic(PA)signals of biological cells.A microcavity traneducer is developed based on the bulk modulus of gas five orders of magnitude lower than that of solid;air pressure variation is inversely proportional to cavity volume at the same temperature *** that a PA wave expands in various directions,detecting PA signals from different positions and adding them together can increase detection sensitivity and signal-to-noise ***,we employ four detectors to acquire tiny PA signals *** results show that the developed OR-PAM system allows the label-free imaging of cells with weak optical absorption.

Simulation of municipal solid waste gasification for syngas production in fixed bed reactors

This study proposes a model of syngas production from municipal solid waste (MSW) gasification with air in fixed bed reactors. The model (using Aspen plus simulator) is used to predict the results of MSW gasification and to provide some process fundamentals concerning syngas production from MSW gasification. The effects of gasification temperature, air equiva- lence ratio and moisture concentration on the composition of syngas, lower heating value (LHV) of syngas, heat conversion efficiency, and carbon conversion are discussed. The results indicate that higher temperature improves gasification, and higher air equivalence ratio increases the carbon conversion while decreasing syngas LHV. Heat conversion efficiency increases and reaches the maximum and then decreases with the increase of air equivalence ratio. Higher moisture concentration increases the carbon conversion and increases the heat conversion efficiency at lower ratios. Higher temperature and a lower equivalence ratio are favorable for obtaining a higher LHV of syngas at the same moisture concentration.

Actual granitoid analytical data of 767 composited samples are presented here. The data source is 6080 samples collected mainly from 750 large- to middle-sized granitoid bodies across china. Data from the composited samples, which includes that of 70 elements, is analyzed according to geological age - Archeozoic （Ar）, Proterozoic （Pt）, Eopaleozoic （PZl）, Neopaleozoic （Pz2）, Mesozoic （Mz）, and Cenozoic （Cz） - and three major compositional varieties, e.g. alkali-feldspar granite, syenogranite and adamellite. Petrochemical parameters, trace-element content and rare-earth element （REE） distribu- tions of the different rock types and geological ages are characterized, and change tendencies through Archean to Cenozoic time are recorded. The comprehensive analytical data presented here has not been previously published. This significant data set can be used as fundamental information in studies of basic china geology, magma petrogenesis, ore exploration and geochemistry.

BACKGROUND Graft hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)recurrence after liver transplant is more frequently *** hepatectomy is technically challenging and is associated with high *** body radiation therapy(SBRT)has been shown to be safe and effective for the treatment of primary ***,its role in HCC recurrence in a liver graft remains *** To evaluate the safety and efficacy of SBRT for the treatment of graft HCC recurrence after liver *** A retrospective study was *** 2012 to 2018,6 patients with intrahepatic HCC recurrence after liver transplant were treated with SBRT at Queen Mary Hospital,the University of Hong *** primary outcome was time to overall disease progression and secondary outcomes were time to local progression and best local response,as assessed with the Modified response Evaluation Criteria for Solid Tumours *** were monitored for treatment related toxicities and graft *** A total of 9 treatment courses were given for 13 *** median tumour size was 2.3 cm(range 0.7-3.6 cm).Two(22%)patients had inferior vena cava tumour *** best local treatment response was:5(55%)complete response,1(11%)partial response and 3(33%)stable *** a median follow up duration of 15.5 mo,no local progression or mortality was yet *** median time to overall disease progression was 6.5 *** were 6 regional progression in the liver graft(67%)and 2 distant progression in the lung(22%).There was no grade 3 or above toxicity and there was no graft dysfunction after *** SBRT appears to be safe in this *** progression is the mode of failure.

OBJECTIVE:To investigate the underlying mechanism of Bailian (Radix Ampelopsis Japonicae,BL) extract action on colorectal cancer (CRC).METHODS:We explored the involvement of β-catenin signaling on the anti-CRC effects of an BL ethanolic extract (BLE) in cell models by using the 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay,immunofluorescent staining,luciferase assay,Western blot analysis and real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction ***-CRC compounds were quantified by high performance liquid ***:The contents of gallic acid,catechin,and epicatechin in the BLE were 0.23,1.25,and 0.18 g/kg,***-mediated cytotoxic and apoptotic effects were accompanied by lowered β-catenin/Tcf transcriptional activity,reduced β-catenin nuclear localization,and downregulated protein and mRNA levels of both β-catenin and molecules regulated by β-***:The mechanism underpinning the anti-CRC effects of BLE may involve inhibition of β-catenin *** studies are necessary to establish the role of β-catenin signaling in the action of BLE-mediated anti-CRC effects.
