A Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared through hot-pressed sintering,and the material was subsequently solution *** hot-pressed sintered and solution treated materials were rolled and *** precipitation behavior and performance ch.nges were systematically studied by using scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron *** contrast to the hot-pressed sintered specimen,the solution treatment significantly affects the thermal stability and properties of the Cu-10wt%Fe *** Cu-10wt%Fe composite was prepared after solid solution,cold rolling and aging at 773 K for 1 h,and it obtained excellent tensile strength of 494 MPa,uniform elongation of 16.3%,electrical conductivity of 51.1%IACS and softening temperature of 838 *** for the distinct difference in thermal stability and properties between hot-pressed sintered and solution treated specimens were *** findings provide a theoretical basis for designing high-performance Cu-based in-situ composites by post treatment.

Slits have been widely used in laser-plasma interactions as plasma optical components for generating high-harmonic light and controlling laser-driven particle ***,we propose and demonstrate that periodic th.n slits can be regarded as a new breed of optical elements for efficient focusing and guiding of intense laser *** fundamental physics of intense laser interaction with th.n slits is studied,and it is revealed that relativistic effects can lead to enh.nced laser focusing far beyond the pure diffractive focusing *** addition,the interaction of an intense laser pulse with periodic th.n slits makes it feasible to achieve multifold enh.ncement in both laser intensity and energy transfer efficiency compared with conventional *** results provide a novel method for manipulating ultra-intense laser pulses and should be of interest for many laser-based applications.

Electronic interactions of the Group 2A elements with magnesium have been studied through the dilute solid solutions in binary Mg-Ca,Mg-Sr and Mg-Ba *** investigation incorporated the difference in the‘Work Function'(ΔWF)measured via Kelvin Probe Force Microscopy(KPFM),as a property directly affected by interatomic bond types,*** electronic structure,nanoindentation measurements,and Stacking Fault Energy values reported in the *** was shown that the nano-hardness of the solid-solutionα-Mg phase ch.nged in the order of Mg-Ca>Mg-Sr>***,it was shown,by also considering the nano-hardness levels,that SFE of a solid-solution is closely correlated with its‘Work Function'***-hardness measurements on the eutectics andΔWF difference between eutectic phases enabled an assessment of the relative bond strength and the pertinent electronic structures of the eutectics in the three *** withΔWF and at least qualitative verification of those computed SFE values with some experimental measurement techniques were considered important as those computational methods are based on zero Kelvin degree,relatively simple atomic models and a number of *** asserted by this investigation,if the results of measurement techniques can be qualitatively correlated with those of the computational methods,it can be possible to evaluate the electronic structures in alloys,starting from binary systems,going to ternary and th.n multi-elemental *** investigation has shown that such a qualitative correlation is *** all,the SFE values are not treated as absolute values but rather become essential in comparative investigations wh.n assessing the influences of alloying elements at a fundamental level,that is,free electron density *** study indicated that the principles of‘electronic metallurgy'in developing multi-elemental alloy systems can be followed via practical experimental methods,i.e.ΔWF measurements using KPF

Low-densityδ-quench.ng and partitioning(δ-QP)steels with excellent strength and ductility have been recently ***,there are still rare reports on the formability of δ-QP steels,which are critical for satisfying the manufacture of structural parts during the application in automotive *** the present work,an 1180 MPa Fe–Mn–Al–C–nbδ-QP steel with a high ductility was adopted for the stretch–flangeability ***δ-QP steel was developed by separated quench.ng and partitioning processes.A good hole expansion ratio(hER)of 34.9±0.9%was obtained in the quenched steel,but it has been further increased to 52.2%by the tempering *** improved stretch–flangeability was attributed to the enh.nced austenite stability and deformation *** the one h.nd,the stability of austenite was increased by carbon partitioning during tempering,which reduced crack possibility via the suppression of the fresh martensite *** the other h.nd,the tempering treatment released the internal stress caused by martensitic transformation and reduced the difference in strength among different phases,resulting in an increase in the resistance to crack initiation and propagation.

Graphite interfaces are an important part of the anode in lithium-ion batteries(LIBs),significantly influencing Li intercalation *** anodes adopt different stacking sequences depending on the concentration of the intercalated Li *** this work,we performed first-principles calculations to compreh.nsively address the energetics and dynamics of Li intercalation and Li vacancy diffusion near the no n-basal edges of graphite,namely the armchair and zigzag-edges,at high Li *** find that surface effects persist in stage-Ⅱ that bind Li strongly at the edge ***,the pronounced effect previously identified at the zigzag edge of pristine graphite is reduced in LiC_(12),penetrating only to the subsurface site,and eventually disappearing in LiC_(6).Consequently,the distinctive surface state at the zigzag edge significantly impacts and restrains the charging rate at the initial lithiation of graphite anodes,whilst diminishes with an increasing degree of *** diffusion time for Li hopping to the bulk site from either the zigzag edge or the armchair edge in LiC_(6) was observed during high state of charge due to charge *** controlling Li occupation and diffusion kinetics at this stage is also crucial for enh.ncing the charge rate.

Biomass chitosan(CS)was used as a template,graphitic phase carbon nitride(g-C_(3)n_(4))with high.nitrogen content and certain catalytic activity was used as a dopant,and nano-transition metal cobalt(Co)was used as a catalytic center *** carbon aerogel(C(CS)/g-C_(3)n_(4)/Co)with a three-dimensional network-like structure was prepared by assembling the three materials through experimental operations such as freeze-drying and high-temperature *** was demonstrated by scanning and transmission characterization that the CS in the carbon aerogel could provide more active sites for the cobalt nanoparticles,and the doping of graphite-phase carbon nitride as a template dispersed the cobalt nanoparticles and ch.nged the conductivity of the *** investigate the catalytic effect of carbon aerogel on ammonium perchlorate(AP),it was investigated by differential thermal analyzer and TG thermal *** carbon aerogel was very effective in catalyzing AP,and the 10 wt% content of the catalyst reduced the AP pyrolysis peak from 703.9 to 595.5 *** to further investigate the synergistic effect of the three materials,further carbon aerogels such as C(CS)/Co,g-C_(3)n_(4)/Co were prepared and applied to catalyze AP,and the same ratio reduced the AP pyrolysis peak by 98.1℃ and 97.7℃.This result indicates a synergistic effect of the assembly of the three materials.

BACKGROUnD:To investigate the prognostic value of the peripheral perfusion index(PPI)in patients with septic ***:This prospective cohort study,conducted at the emergency intensive care unit of Peking University People's hospital,recruited 200 patients with septic shock between January 2023 and August *** patients were divided into survival(n=84)and death.n=116)groups based on 28-day *** evaluations included laboratory tests and clinical scores,with lactate and PPI values assessed upon admission to the emergency room and at 6 h and 12 h after *** factors associated with mortality were analyzed using univariate and multivariate Cox regression *** operator characteristic(ROC)curve was used to assess predictive *** rates were compared,and Kaplan-Meier survival plots were ***:Compared to the survival group,patients in the death group were older and had more severe liver damage and coagulation dysfunction,necessitating higher norepinephrine doses and increased fl uid *** lactate levels and lower PPI levels at 0 h,6 h,and 12 h were observed in the death *** Cox regression identifi ed prolonged prothrombin time(PT),decreased 6-h PPI and 12-h PPI as independent risk factors for *** area under the curves for 6-h PPI and 12-h PPI were 0.802(95%CI 0.742-0.863,Pnd 0.945(95%CI 0.915-0.974,Py,which were superior to Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS),Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)scores(0.864 and 0.928).Cumulative mortality in the low PPI groups at 6 h and 12 h was signifi cantly higher th.n in the high PPI groups(6-h PPI:77.52%vs.22.54%;12-h PPI:92.04%vs.13.79%,PnCLUSIOn:PPI may have value in predicting 28-day mortality in patients with septic shock.
