Cerebral ischemia is a major health risk that requires preventive approaches in addition to drug *** exercise enhances neurogenesis and synaptogenesis,and has been widely used for functional rehabilitation after *** this study,we determined whether exercise training before disease onset can alleviate the severity of cerebral *** also examined the role of exercise-induced circulating factors in these *** mice were subjected to 14 days of treadmill exercise training before surgery for middle cerebral artery *** found that this exercise pre-conditioning strategy effectively attenuated brain infarct area,inhibited gliogenesis,protected synaptic proteins,and improved novel object and spatial memory *** analysis showed that circulating adiponectin plays a critical role in these preventive effects of *** activation of adiponectin receptors by Adipo Ron mimicked the effects of exercise,while inhibiting receptor activation abolished the exercise *** summary,our results suggest a crucial role of circulating adiponectin in the effects of exercise pre-conditioning in protecting against cerebral ischemia and supporting the health benefits of exercise.

Deuterated chloroform replaces ultra-dry chloroform to achieve high-efficient organic solar cells

Chloroform is a common and excellent solvent for preparing high-efficient organic solar cells(OSCs),however,it is toxic and poisonable *** comparisons,deuterated chloroform(DC)is less toxic and costly,and particularly,it is non-poisonable *** this paper,we use DC to replace ultra-dry chloroform(UC)as the processing solvent for preparation of active layers of organic solar ***,we selected PM6:BTP-e C9 as the basic binary and counted 100 solar cells'data,from which comparable device performance were obtained with use of DC and ***,DC showed better reproducibility,superior storage under a nitrogen atmosphere and a little better performance than *** DC and UC gave rise of comparable hole and electron mobilities and similar charge recombination ***,we based PM6:y6 and D18-Cl:y6 as the binaries and similar effects were obtained from both UC and DC when counting 30 devices for each ***,the universality of the use of DC for preparing highefficient OSCs were again checked with several binary and ternary *** all,this study demonstrate that DC can replace UC for use in the field of OSCs.

Aluminum foam as buffer layer used in soft rock tunnel with large deformation

The squeezing deformation of surrounding rock is an important factor restricting the safe construction and long-term operation of tunnels when a tunnel passes through soft strata with high ground *** such soft rock geological conditions,the large deformation of the surrounding rock can easily lead to the failure of supporting structures,including shotcrete cracks,spalling,and steel arch *** improve the lining support performance during the large deformation of squeezed surrounding rock,this work selects aluminum foam with densities of 0.25 g/cm3,0.42 g/cm3 and 0.61 g/cm3 as the buffer layer material and carries out uniaxial confined compression *** the evaluation and analysis of energy absorption and the comparison of the yield pressure of aluminum foam with those of other cushioning materials and yield pressure support systems,the strength,deformation and energy absorption of aluminum foam with a density of 0.25 g/cm3 meet the yield pressure performance *** numerical model of the buffer layer yielding support system is then established via the finite element analysis software ABAQUS,and the influence of the buffer layer setting on the lining support is *** with the conventional support scheme,the addition of an aluminum foam buffer layer can reduce the stress and deformation of the primary support and secondary *** maximum and minimum principal stresses of the primary support are reduced by 13%and 15%,*** maximum and minimum principal stresses of the secondary lining are reduced by 15%and 12%,respectively,and the displacement deformation of the secondary lining position is reduced by 15%.In summary,the application of aluminum foam buffer layer can reduce the stress and deformation of the primary support and secondary lining,improve the stress safety of the support and reduce the deformation of the support.

Adaptive VDI Session Placement via User Logoff Prediction

After the global pandemic,DaaS(desktop as a service)has become the first choice of many companies’remote working *** the desktops are usually deployed in the public cloud when using DaaS,customers are more cost-sensitive which boosts the requirement of proactive power *** researches in this area focus on virtual desktop infrastructure(VDI)session logon behavior modeling,but for the remote desktop service host(RDSH)-shared desktop pools,logoff optimization is also *** systems place sessions by round-robin or in a pre-defined order without considering their logoff ***,these approaches usually suffer from the situation that few left sessions prevent RDSH servers from being powered-off which introduces cost *** this paper,we propose session placement via adaptive user logoff prediction(SODA),an innovative compound model towards proactive RDSH session ***,an ensemble machine learning model that can predict session logoff time is combined with a statistical session placement bucket model to place RDSH sessions with similar logoff time in a more centralized manner on RDSH ***,the infrastructure cost-saving can be improved by reducing the resource waste introduced by those RDSH hosts with very few hanging sessions left for a long *** on real RDSH pool data demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed proactive session placement approach against existing static placement techniques.

[Analysis of coexisting and associated factors of intracerebral hemorrhage lesions in patients with recent subcortical small infarct]

To explore the clinical characteristics and related risk factors of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) lesions identified on susceptibility-weighted imaging (SWI) sequences in patients with recent subcortical small infarct (RSSI). The patients with lenticulostriate artery territory RSSI admitted to the Department of Neurology, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2019 to December 2022 was retrospectively collected. Demographic information, past medical history, laboratory, and imaging data were collected. Observe the ICH lesions in patients on the brain SWI sequence and divide RSSI patients into the coexisting-ICH group (=37) and the non-ICH group (=324) according to whether they have ICH. At the same time, the hemorrhage-related imaging features coexisting such as cerebral microbleeds (CMBs), cerebral surface siderosis (cSS), and probable cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA). Multifactorial logistic regression model was used to analyze the associated factors of ICH lesions in RSSI patients. A total of 361 patients with RSSI in the lenticulostriate artery territory area were included. The mean age was (60±12) years, with 243 male patients (67.3%). Among them, 37 patients (10.2%) had coexisting ICH lesions, mainly presenting as strict deep type [29 cases (78.4%)], with others including strict lobar type [2 cases (5.4%)], infratentorial type [2 cases (5.4%)], and mixed type[ 4 cases (10.8%)]. 30 cases (8.3%) had concomitant strict lobar CMBs, 5 cases (1.4%) had cSS, and 23 cases (6.4%) met the Boston 2.0 criteria for probable CAA. Multivariate logistic regression model analysis revealed that the high-grade enlargement of perivascular spaces in the basal ganglia (HEPVS) (=3.356,95%:1.208-9.320,=0.020) were associated with the presence of ICH lesions. Elastohydrodynamic Lubrication Performance of Curvilinear Cylindrical Gears Based on Finite Element Method

The fixed-setting face-milled curvilinear cylindrical gear features teeth that are arc-shaped along the longitudinal *** researchers hypothesize that this arc-tooth may enhance the lubrication conditions of the *** study focuses on this type of gear,employing both finite element analysis(FEA)and analytical methods to determine the input parameters required for elastohydrodynamic lubrication(EHL)*** effects of assembly errors,tooth surface modifications,load,and face-milling cutter radius on the lubrication performance of these gears are systematically *** finite element model(FEM)of the gear pair is utilized to calculate the coordinates of contact points on the tooth surface and the corresponding contact pressures at the tooth surface nodes throughout a meshing ***,the normal load on specific gear teeth is determined using a gradient-based *** speed,slip-to-roll ratio,and effective radius near the contact points on the tooth surface are derived through analytical *** data obtained from FEA serve as input parameters for EHL *** lubrication performance of the curvilinear cylindrical gear is evaluated through example *** findings indicate that using FEA to provide input parameters for EHL simulations can reveal the occurrence of edge contact phenomena during gear meshing,allowing for a more accurate representation of the gear’s lubrication *** lubrication performance of the curvilinear cylindrical gear is shown to be independent of the face-milling cutter radius but is significantly influenced by the size of the contact pattern on the tooth *** gears with larger contact patterns demonstrate superior lubrication performance.

A series of heteronuclear yttrium-nickel monoxide carbonyl complexes yNiO（CO）_n-（n=1–5） were generated in a pulsed-laser vaporization source and characterized by mass-selected photoelectron velocity-map spectroscopy combined with theoretical *** ligand-mediated reactivity in CO oxidation of yttrium-nickel monoxide carbonyl complexes was experimentally and theoretically *** the consecutive CO adsorption,aμ2-O linear structure was most favorable for yNiO（CO）_n-（n=1,2）,then a structure in which the terminal O was bonded to the y atom became favored for yNiO（CO）3-,and finally a structure bearing a CO2moiety was most favorable for yNiO（CO）_n-（n=4,5）.Theoretical calculations indicated that the Ni atom acted as an electron acceptor and accumulated electron density at n≤3,and then served as an electron donor along with the y atom to contribute electron density in the rearrangement that accompanied CO oxidation at n>3.

Multiphysics simulation and optimization of the in-situ beneficiation process of ilmenite minerals from lunar regolith

The exploration and utilization of lunar resources have become the major objectives of future lunar exploration *** classified collection and processing of lunar minerals is the basic prerequisite for the in-situ exploration and utilization of lunar *** this study,we propose a scheme for in-situ separation of magnetic minerals from lunar soils using the dry magnetic separation *** scheme can realize the purpose of separating magnetic minerals from lunar regolith by altering the motion trajectory of lunar regolith particles with different magnetic *** modeling of the dry magnetic separation device is conducted,and the three-dimensional distribution of magnetic parameters is calculated and *** on the characterization and analysis of the Chang E-5's samples,the morphologies and physical parameters of lunar regolith particles are modeled and simulated.A discrete element simulation of the motion process of lunar regolith particles under multi-physical field conditions is performed,and the influences of key parameters on the beneficiation performance of lunar magnetic minerals are *** results indicate that optimal separation and beneficiation of lunar regolith particles can be achieved under specific conditions of magnetic field strength and drum ***,we analyze the effects of lunar weak gravity conditions and the charged nature of lunar particles on the beneficiation process,showing that these factors can obviously enhance the beneficiation process of lunar *** study demonstrates the feasibility of using the dry magnetic separation method for the beneficiation of magnetic minerals from lunar regolith,providing a theoretical basis for the scientific tasks of collecting,processing,and utilizing lunar mineral resources.
