In the simulation output analysis,there are some measures that should be calculated by time average concept such as the mean queue ***,the confidence interval of those measures might be required for statistical *** this situation,the traditional method that utilizes the central limit theorem(CLT)is inapplicable if the output data set has autocorrelation *** bootstrap is one of the most suitable methods which can reflect the autocorrelated phenomena in statistical ***,the confidence interval for a time averaged measure having autocorrelation structure can also be calculated by the bootstrap *** study introduces the method that constructs these confidence intervals apply.ng the *** bootstraps proposed are the threshold bootstrap(TB),the moving block bootstrap(MBB)and stationary bootstrap(SB).Finally,some numerical examples will be provided for verification.

Carbon super-heterostructures with high nitrogen contents from the covalent hybrid precursors of covalent triazine frameworks(CTFs)and zeolitic imidazolic frameworks(ZIFs)are scarcely explored because of CTF's ordered structure and toxic superacid that dissolves or destabilizes the metal *** solve this problem,herein,we report a straightforward two-step pathway for the covalent hybridization of disordered CTF(d–CTF)–ZIF composites via preincorporation of an imidazole(IM)linker into ordered CTFs,followed by the imidazole-site-specific covalent growth of *** carbonization of these synthesized d–CTF−IM−ZIF hybrids results in unique hollow carbon super-heterostructures with ultrahigh nitrogen content(>18.6%),high specific surface area(1663m^(2)g^(−1)),and beneficial trace metal(Co/Zn nPs)contents for promoting the redox *** proof of concept,the obtained carbon super-heterostructure(Co–Zn–nC_(SnH)–800)is used as a positive electrode in an asymmetric supercapacitor,demonstrating a remarkable energy density of 61Wh kg^(−1)and extraordinary cyclic stability of 97%retention after 30,000 cycles at the cell *** presynthetic modifications of CTF and their covalent hybridization with ZIF crystals pave the way toward new design strategies for synthesizing functional porous carbon materials for promising energy applications.

The commercial AZ91 alloy and nonflammable SEn9(AZ91-0.3Ca-0.2y,wt%)alloy are extruded at 300°C and 400°*** microstructure,tensile and compressive properties,and low-cycle fatigue(LCF)properties are investigated,with particular focus on the influence of the extrusion *** the AZ91 and SEn9 materials extruded at 300°C(300-materials),numerous fine Mg_(17)Al_(12)particles are inhomogeneously distributed owing to localized dynamic precipitation during extrusion,unlike those extruded at 400°C(400-materials).These fine particles suppress the coarsening of recrystallized grains,decreasing the average grain size of *** the four extruded materials have considerably different microstructures,the difference in their tensile yield strengths is insignificant because strong grain-boundary hardening and precipitation hardening effects in 300-materials are offset almost completely by a strong texture hardening effect in ***,owing to their finer grains and weaker texture,300-materials have higher compressive yield strengths *** the LCF tests,{10-12}twinning is activated at lower stresses in 400-materials than in *** the fatigue damage accumulated per cycle is smaller in 400-materials,they have longer fatigue lives than those of 300-materials.A fatigue life prediction model for the investigated materials is established on the basis of the relationship between the total strain energy density(ΔW_(t))and the number of cycles to fatigue failure(n_(f)),and it is expressed through a simple equation(ΔW_(t)=10·n_(f)-0.59).This model enables fatigue life prediction of both the investigated alloys regardless of the extrusion temperature and strain amplitude.

The removal of As（III） and As（V） from aqueous solution was investigated using waste cast iron, which is a byproduct of the iron casting process in foundries. Two types of waste cast iron were used in the experiment： grind precipitate dust （GPD） and cast iron shot （CIS）. The X-ray diffraction analysis indicated the presence of Fe~ on GPD and CIS. Batch experiments were performed under different concentrations of As（III） and As（V） and at various initial pH levels. Results showed that waste cast iron was effective in the removal of arsenic. The adsorption isotherm study indicated that the Langmuir isotherm was better than the Freundlich isotherm at describing the experimental result. In the adsorption of both As（III） and As（V）, the adsorption capacity of GPD was greater than CIS, mainly due to the fact that GPD had higher surface area and weight percent of Fe than CIS. Results also indicated the removal of As（III） and As（V） by GPD and CIS was influenced by the initial solution pH, generally decreasing with increasing pH from 3.0 to 10.5. In addition, both GPD and CIS were more effective at the removal of As（III） than As（V） under given experimental conditions. This study demonstrates that waste cast iron has potential as a reactive material to treat wastewater and groundwater containing arsenic.

Objective:Serological tests are widely used for scrub typhus diagnosis;however,their limitations are *** study aims to assess their practical value in clinical ***:We analyzed the data of adult patients with suspected scrub typhus who visited a tertiary care hospital in the Republic of Korea from September to December from 2019 to *** included patients had an acute fever and at least one of the following ten secondary findings:myalgia,skin rash,eschar,headache,thrombocytopenia,increased liver enzyme levels,lymphadenopathy,hepatomegaly,splenomegaly,and pleural *** diagnoses were grouped as scrub typhus or other diseases by two infectious disease ***:Among 136 patients who met the eligibility criteria,109 had scrub typhus and 27 had different *** and paired total antibodies using immunofluorescence assay(IFA),and total antibodies using immunochromatography-based rapid diagnostic testing(ICT)were measured in 98%,22%,and 75%of all patients,*** using paired samples for scrub typhus was established at a median of 11[interquartile range(IQR)10-16]days following the first *** the 82 admitted patients,the median admission time was 9(IQR 7-13)*** to IFA,58(55%)patients with scrub typhus had total immunoglobulin titers≥1:320,while 23(85%)patients with other disease had titersn 64(74%)patients with scrub typhus and 10(67%)patients with other diseases showed negative ICT ***:Serological testing for scrub typhus is currently insufficient for decision-making in clinical practice.

For Al 6k21-T4 overlap weld joint,the shear-tensile strength by using the weaving laser was improved as compared to the case of linear *** the specimen of low strength,the porosity was distributed continuously along the intersection between the plates and fusion ***,for the optimized welding condition,large oval-shaped porosities were located only in the advancing track of the concave ***,the continuity of cracks and porosities played a key role to determine the ***,the weaving width was also the important parameter to control the ***,the concave part had more significant hot and cold cracking in the weld and heat-affected zone（HAZ）,respectively,than the convex part.

Objective:Mitophagy is known to contribute towards progression of Parkinson’s *** red ginseng(KRG)is a widely used medicinal herb in East Asia,and recent studies have reported that KRG prevents 1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium ion(MPP^(+))-induced cell *** study was undertaken to investigate whether KRG suppresses MPP^(+)-induced apoptosis and ***:SH-Sy5 y cells were incubated with KRG for 24 h,and subsequently exposed to MPP^(+).The MPP^(+)-induced cell death was confirmed with the 3-(4,5-dimethyl-thiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay,and the terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase-mediated d UTP nick end-labeling *** in the structure and function of mitochondria were confirmed using mitotracker,Mito SOX red mitochondrial superoxide indicator,parkin,and phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted on chromosome ten-induced putative kinase 1(PInK1)immunofluorescent *** blotting was performed to evaluate the expression of apoptosis-related factors in whole cells,including Bax,Bcl-2 and cleaved caspase-3,and mitophagy-related factors in the mitochondrial fraction,including cytochrome c,parkin,PInK1,translocase of the outer membrane 20(TOM20),p62 and Beclin ***:MPP^(+)induced cell death by cytochrome c release and caspase-3 activation;however,this effect was suppressed by KRG’s regulation of the expressions of Bcl-2 and ***,MPP^(+)exposure increased the mitochondrial expressions of parkin,PInK1,Beclin 1 and p62,and decreased TOM20,cytochrome c and Bcl-2 *** MPP^(+)-induced changes in the mitochondrial fraction were attenuated by treatment with ***:KRG effectively prevents MPP^(+)-induced SH-Sy5 y cell death by regulating cytochrome c release from mitochondria and PInK1/parkin-mediated mitophagy,through regulation of the Bcl-2 family.

Cast Mg-6 wt pct Al alloy solution-treated at 683 K for 16 h and aged at 498 K was coated by plasma electrolytic oxidation （PEO） *** Mg-6 wt pct Al alloy aged for 16 h exhibited the highest microhardness and wear *** PEO coating,however,the microhardness and wear resistance of coatings on Mg- 6 wt pct Al alloy showed a tendency to decrease with increasing aging time,which was in aggrement with the change of thickness with aging *** addition,the coatings on solution-treated Mg-6 wt pct Al alloy had better microhardness and wear resistance than those on aged Mg-6 wt pct Al ***,it can be understood that the aging treatment has a deleterious influence on the mechanical properties of coatings on Mg-6 wt pct Al alloy.
