Ever since its outbreak,the COVID-19 pandemic caused by SARS-CoV-2 has been spreading rapidly causing a global health *** diagnosis and instituting appropriate intervention to relevant individuals are essential not only to slow down the spread of this pandemic but also to manage our resources *** date,testing for SARS-CoV-2 infection mostly relies on reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)on a nasopharyngeal or saliva specimen and remains the gold standard for diagnosis as it exhibits high sensitivity and specificity.

背景:有关神经干细胞(neuralstemcells,NSCs)治疗研究有明显增多趋势,已有许多研究认为NSCs能够增殖分化并在中枢神经系统内发生神经整合,NSCs在中枢神经系统中迁移的特性已成为近年来干细胞治疗神经系统疾病研究的热点。目的:探讨胞嘧啶脱氨酶(CD基因修饰神经干细胞及其基因表达。)设计:重复测量设计。单位:解放军第三军医大学新桥医院神经外科、中南大学湘雅医院神经外科、DepartmentofUrology,NationalDefenseMedicalCollege。材料:新生第1天Wistar大鼠,由解放军第三军医大学实验动物中心提供。方法:通过构建真核表达质粒pCMVCD,限制性内切酶消化鉴定后,采用Lipofectamine2000脂质体介导法转染新生大鼠室管膜下区NSCs,G418筛选阳性克隆,加入不同浓度的5-氟胞嘧啶5-FC,MTT比色法()测定NSCs的生存率。主要观察指标:MTT比色法测定NSCs的生存率。结果:本实验成功地培养并鉴定了神经干细胞,并将CD基因成功地转染了神经干细胞。基因转染使G418抗性细胞(NSCs/CD细胞)对5-FC高度敏感。未转染的NSCs对5-FC不敏感,IC50约为5000μmol/L,而转染基因后IC50小于10μmol/L。G418阳性NSCs对低浓度5-FC高度敏感。结论:CD基因修饰神经干细胞的离体实验研究为干细胞治疗神经系统退行性病变及多种疾病研究提供依据。

In recent times, there has been extensive research and development into the design phase of engineering systems such as aircrafts, vehicles and large-scale structures. In view of the mission and requirements of such engineering systems, various design criteria are contemplated owing to the system’s complexity. Recent years have also seen the rise of technological innovations particularly that of computers, involved in the evaluation and improvement of such engineering systems design. Examples of which include CAD (Computer-aided Design), CAE (Computer-aided Engineering) [1, 2] etc. These lead into the field of computational design. The objective of which is to find optimal design parameters that suit design criteria. This paper presents a multi-objective human-like optimization technique for computational engineering design. The optimization process is human-like because they are developed to mimic the human design process [3]. The human designer specifies multiple design criteria that are to be realized, propose possible designs and then later refines them in regard to his/her capability. The final design selection is then inclined towards the designer’s intuition and experience. In comparison, the presented optimization method develops multiple Pareto-optimal solutions from the feasible design space by evaluating the design’s multiple objectives. The Pareto solutions are then refined through the search algorithm, thus satisfying both design objectives and constraints. The final design is later selected by the center of gravity method proposed by the authors. Although extensive research has gone into the applications of Genetic Algorithms to multi-objective optimization [3], they are still inefficient in optimizing parameters as the nature of the algorithms is probabilistic. The search algorithms proposed are of a deterministic nature and are weightless gradient-based for efficient computation. Since the process required no prior knowledge, biasness is not involved

Induction heating adhesion(IHA)methods are useful recycle technique in various equipment constructions and also other adhesive *** this paper,several safety adhesion methods are devised using several magnetic-coil heads wiped on I-, U-,T- and E- type ferrite cores with fitting the heating structures for equipments at～20 kHz *** applicable devices to heat the hot-melt-glue in the equipments are developed by using the intelligent power module.A recyclable adhesive joint of a stainless pipe and a glass board is demonstrated as an example of industrial applications.

Purpose: We examined whether or not the spreading pattern of contrast dye through the catheter into the thoracic paravertebral space (TPVS) was associated with acute post-operative pain relief after breast cancer surgery. Methods: Sixty patients were recruited. After surgery, patients received thoracic paravertebral block (TPVB). The catheter was inserted within the TPVS, and radiographic contrast dye was injected through the catheter. Based on the main spreading patterns of the dye, the patients were divided into a cloud-like (spreading to the posterior compartment of the TPVS) or a longitudinal spread group (spreading to the anterior compartment of the TPVS). The primary endpoint of the study was pain intensity by numeric rating scale (NRS) and additional analgesic requirements within 12 h after surgery. Results: In 22 patients, the spread of contrast dye was not noted in the PVS. Of the 38 eligible patients, 9 patients were assigned to the cloud-like spread group, 28 patients to the longitudinal spread group and 1 patient was excluded. There were no significant differences in the NRS between the two groups both at rest and on moving. No significant differences were found in the frequency of requiring additional analgesics. Conclusions: There is no marked difference in the analgesic efficacy after breast cancer surgery based on the spread of the contrast dye to the posterior or anterior compartment of the TPVS. We should not insert the needle deeply within the TPVS, as the risk of the migration of catheters into the pleural space can be quite high.

In this study, we assess the effectiveness of utilizing a straight knee kick in the backstroke with regard to the overall time, max speed, and distance per stroke when using a straight knee butterfly technique. We analyzed freestyle kick of knee angles from 7-Olympic medalists, 1970＇s S-shaped pulling pattern stroke was used with a bending knee freestyle kick. The straight knee kick used in butterfly competitions resulted in improvements from 54.74 to 51.00 in Men＇s 100-meter butterfly and fi＇om 23.43 to 23.02 in Men＇s 50-meter butterfly. Using a straight knee kick in backstroke competitions resulted in improvements from 1：01.74 to 1：00.55 in the 100-meter backstroke event. Increases in performance speed, max speed and distance per stroke among three elite level swimmers are highly correlated to duration of the kick resistance, and straight knee kick in backstroke. The straight knee kick also resulted in an increase in lactate acid.

We studied the effects of exercise on muscle mitochondria, and lipid and glycogen content in non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) model rats. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly separated into 3 groups: the control group was fed standard chow;the NASH group was fed a methionine-choline-deficient high-fat diet (MCD);the NASH-exercise group was fed the MCD and exercised three times a week. Exercise training consisted of continuous running for thirty minutes at a 13 m/min, 6° slope on a motor-driven rodent treadmill for 6 weeks. Mitochondria content in NASH group decreased in the both fiber types compared with those of the control group. As compared between the NASH and NASH-exercise groups, however, exercise not only promoted significant improvements in liver fibrosis and cirrhosis and triglyceride (TG) content but also increased mitochondria content in type I muscle fiber in particular. These data suggest that exercise improved hepatic steatosis in NASH model rats and can prevent the progression of NASH.

This study is to understand the impact of operating condition, especially initial operation temperature （Tini） which is set in high temperature range, on the temperature profile of the interface between PEM （polymer electrolyte membrane） and catalyst layer at the cathode （i.e., the reaction surface） in a single PEFC （polymer electrolyte fuel cell）. A 1D multi-plate heat transfer model based on the temperature data of separator measured using thermograph in a power generation experiment was developed to evaluate the reaction surface temperature （Treact）. This study investigated the effects of flow rate, relative humidity and type of supply gas as well as Tini on the temperature distribution on reaction surface. The results obtained in 02 supply case show that, the temperature rise at the segments near the outlet of cell decreases with increasing Tini irrespective of relative humidity of supply gas （RH）, while it is not seen in air supply case. Regarding the segments except near the outlet in 02 supply case, Treact - Tini increases with increasing Tini for 40% RH. The temperature distribution on reaction surface in 02 supply case is wider with increasing Tini as well as decreasing RH, though that in air supply case is relatively even.

Abstract： The purpose of this study is to analyze the temperature distribution on the interface between the polymer electrolyte membrane and catalyst layer at the cathode in single cell of polymer electrolyte fuel cell when operated in elevated temperature range than usual. In this study, the interface between the polymer electrolyte membrane and catalyst layer at the cathode is named as reaction surface. This study has considered the 1D multi-plate heat transfer model estimating the temperature distribution on the reaction surface and verified with the 3D numerical simulation model solving many governing equations on the coupling phenomena of the polymer electrolyte fuel cell. The 3D numerical simulation model coverers a half size of actual cell including three straight parts and two turn-back corners, which can display the essential phenomena of single cell. The results from both models/simulations agreed well. The effects of initial operation temperature, flow rate, and relative humidity of supply gas on temperature distribution on the reaction surface have been investigated. Though the effect of flow rate of supply gas on temperature distribution on reaction surface has been small, low relative humidity of supply gas has caused higher temperature on the reaction surface compared to high relative humidity of the supply gas. The temperature rise of reaction surface from initial operation temperature has increased with the increasing in initial operation temperature of cell.
