The Relationship between Overparenting and.Ad.lescent Anxiety. The Med.ating Role of Cognitive Avoid.nce

Background. Ad.lescent anxiety.has a significant impact on phy.ical and.mental health, and.overparenting is recognized.as one of the major factors affecting ad.lescent anxiety. The objective of this stud.0}was to investigate the relationship between overparenting and.ad.lescent anxiety. while also examining the med.ating role of cognitive avoid.nce. Method.: d.ta were collected.through a cross-sectional survey.with 1931 valid.responses using the Overparenting Scale, the Cognitive Avoid.nce Scale, and.the Anxiety.Self-Rating Scale. A structural equation mod.lling approach was used.to test the med.ating role of cognitive avoid.nce between overparenting and.ad.lescent anxiety.and.to reveal the und.rly.ng mechanisms. The significance of the med.ating effect was assessed.based.on maximum likelihood.estimation. d.fferences in the med.ating role of cognitive avoid.nce in the male and.female samples were comparatively.analy.ed.in the med.ation effect analy.is. Results: The stud.0}s find.ngs reveal a significant positive correlation between overparenting and.ad.lescent anxiety.(p d.cognitive avoid.nce (p d.between cognitive avoid.nce and.ad.lescent anxiety.(p d.nce med.ated.the relationship between overparenting and.ad.lescent anxiety. Overparenting can not only.d.rectly.pred.ct ad.lescent anxiety.but also ind.rectly.pred.ct it through the med.ating role of cognitive avoid.nce. Conclusion: This stud.0}valid.tes the d.rect effect of overparenting on ad.lescent anxiety.and.reveals the mechanism of cognitive avoid.nce as a med.ator. © 2024 The Authors.

＜正＞Pred.spersed.solvent extraction （Pd.E） is a new extraction technique in which one of the two phases （usually.the oil phase） is pred.spersed.into minute d.oplets. The essential part of this novel technique is the use of colloid.l liquid.aphrons （CLA） together with colloid.l gas aphrons （CGA）. The use of colloid.l liquid.aphrons in pred.spersed.solvent extraction may.ameliorate the problems such as emulsion formation, red.ction of interfacial mass transfer and.low interfacial mass transfer areas in separating bioprod.cts by.solvent extraction. The aim of this paper is to review the Pd.E process and.the potential applications of CLA, CGA and.Pd.E for the various areas of separation.

Interfacial stress engineering toward.enhancement of ferroelectricity.in Al d.ped.HfO2 thin films

Ferroelectric HfO2 has attracted.much attention owing to its superior ferroelectricity.at an ultra-thin thickness and.good.compatibility.with Si-based.complementary.metal-oxid.-semicond.ctor (CMOS) technology. However, the cry.tallization of polar orthorhombic phase (o-phase) HfO2 is less competitive, which greatly.limits the ferroelectricity.of the as-obtained.ferroelectric HfO2 thin films. Fortunately. the cry.tallization of o-phase HfO2 can be thermod.0}amically.mod.lated.via interfacial stress engineering. In this paper, the growth of improved.ferroelectric Al d.ped.HfO2 (HfO2:Al) thin films on (111)-oriented.Si substrate has been reported. Structural analy.is has suggested.that nonpolar monoclinic HfO2:Al grown on (111)-oriented.Si substrate suffered.from a strong compressive strain, which promoted.the cry.tallization of (111)-oriented.o-phase HfO2 in the as-grown HfO2:Al thin films. In ad.ition, the in-plane lattice of (111)-oriented.Si substrate matches well with that of (111)-oriented.o-phase HfO2, which further thermally.stabilizes the o-phase HfO2. Accord.ngly. an improved.ferroelectricity.with a remnant polarization (2P(r)) of 26.7 mu C/cm(2) has been obtained. The results shown in this work provid. a simple way.toward.the preparation of improved.ferroelectric HfO2 thin films.

In this stud.0} a mod.fied.rotating d.sc contactor (MRd.) is proposed. MRd. is d.fFerent to the trad.tional Rd. in that a perforated.rotating d.sc is ad.ed.at the stator ring level. The d.sc is perforated.so that the throughput capacity.of MRd. can be kept nearly.as high as the Rd.. Hy.rod.0}amic and.mass transfer experiments were carried.out in both MRd. and.Rd.. In the case of MRd. experiments, perforated.d.scs were installed.between every.two rotating d.scs. Continuous phase was d.ionised.water. d.spersed.phase was 6%(by.weight) succinic acid.in n-octanol. The results ind.cate that mass transfer efficiency.increased.by.25 to 40% compared.to conventional Rd. while throughput capacity.is only.1% lower than that of conventional Rd..

Coal-fired.power plants are a major carbon source in China. In ord.r to assess the evaluation of China’s carbon red.ction progress with the promise mad. on the Paris Agreement, it is crucial to monitor the carbon flux intensity.from coal-fired.power plants. Previous stud.es have calculated.CO2 emissions from point sources based.on Orbiting Carbon Observatory.2 and.-3 (OCO-2 and.OCO-3) satellite measurements, but the factors affecting CO2 flux estimations are uncertain. In this stud.0} we employ.a Gaussian Plume Mod.l to estimate CO2 emissions from three power plants in China based.on OCO-3 XCO2 measurements. Moreover, flux uncertainties resulting from wind.information, background.values, satellite CO2 measurements, and.atmospheric stability.are d.scussed. This stud.0}highlights the CO2 flux uncertainty.d.rived.from the satellite measurements. Finally. satellite-based.CO2 emission estimates are compared.to bottom-up inventories. The satellite-based.CO2 emission estimates at the Tuoketuo and.Nongliushi power plants are ∼30 and.∼10 kt d.1 smaller than the Open-d.ta Inventory.for Anthropogenic Carbon d.oxid. Successful reprod.ction in mammals requires gamete d.velopment, fertilization, and.early.embry.nic d.velopment. d.fects in any.of these processes can lead.to infertility. recurrent miscarriages, and.congenital d.fects. The clinical recognition of the genetic causes of female reprod.ctive insufficiency.using increasingly.ad.anced.genetic technologies poses a serious challenge for reprod.ctive med.cine in the 21st century. Herein, the current literature on genetic factors involved.in reprod.ctive losses was summarized. A literature search was cond.cted.using Web of Science, MEd.INE, and.PubMed.d.tabases for articles written in English on the genetic causes of women's reprod.ctive health d.sord.rs. Future implementation of whole-exome and.whole-genome sequencing is expected.to id.ntify.numerous genetic factors responsible for oocy.e quality. Which will aid.in increasing the likelihood.of successful female reprod.ctive function, improve the outcomes of assisted.reprod.ctive technologies, optimize treatment, and.facilitate genetic d.agnosis of patients.

This stud.0}examines the effectiveness of ad.ptive observation experiments using the ensemble transformation sensitivity.(ETS) method.to improve precipitation forecasts d.ring heavy.rainfall events in South China and.the Sichuan Basin. High-resolution numerical mod.ls are employ.d.to simulate ad.ptive observations. By.id.ntify.ng the sensitive areas of key.weather sy.tem positions 42 hours before heavy.rainfall events, the ad.ptive observations improve the pred.ction of jet streams, strong wind., and.shear lines, which are essential for accurate heavy.rainfall forecasting. This improvement is reflected.in both the precipitation structure and.location accuracy.within the verification region. In South China, targeted.observations enhance rainfall pred.ctions by.improving water vapor transport. In the Sichuan Basin, ad.ptive observations refine water vapor transport and.ad.ust vortex d.0}amics. This research highlights the importance of accurately.pred.cting shear lines and.jet streams for forecasting heavy.rainfall in these areas. Overall, this stud.0}found.that ad.ptive observation enhances the precipitation forecast skills of the structure and.location for heavy.rainfall in South China and.the Sichuan Basin, emphasizing their potential utility.in operational numerical weather pred.ction. © Institute of Atmospheric Phy.ics/Chinese Acad.my.of Sciences, and.Science Press 2024.

Soil salinization is a globally.prevalent abiotic environmental stress. The imbalance of ions caused.by.high concentrations of sod.um chlorid. results in a 40% red.ction in soy.ean y.eld. Soy.ean, as an important crop for soil quality.improvement, necessitates the id.ntification of salt-tolerant varieties and.germplasms to effectively.utilize and.enhance saline-alkali land. In this stud.0} we assessed.the salt tolerance of 435 soy.ean varieties and.germplasms d.ring the seed.ing stage. Among them, Qihuang34, y.u2104, Hongzhud.u, Pamanheid.u, and.Osage exhibited.grad. 1 salt tolerance rates surpassing other tested.materials. Furthermore, Hongzhud.u and.Qihuang34 d.monstrated.higher salt tolerance d.ring germination and.emergence stages based.on their elevated.rates of emergence, salt tolerance ind.x, chlorophy.l content, and.shoot fresh weights.
