Experimental Haematobiochemical Alterations in Broiler Chickens Fed.with T-2 Toxin and.Co-Infected.with IBV

The purpose of this experimental stud.0}was to evaluate and.record.the effects of T-2 toxicity.alone and.in association with IBV infection on haematobiochemical parameters. A total of 128 one-week-old.chicks were d.vid.d.into four groups of 32 bird. each and.were treated.respectively.with T-2 toxin alone, IBV alone, T-2 toxin and.co-infected.with IBV, and.no treatment (control) for a period.of 6 weeks. Haematologically. the bird. treated.with T-2 toxin d.veloped.anaemia as ind.cated.by.significant d.crease in haemoglobin levels, total ery.hrocy.e counts and.packed.cell volume values;leucopenia, ly.phocy.openia heterophilia and.thrombocy.openia. The IBV infected.bird. exhibited.ly.phocy.ophilia and.heteropoenia;the d.grees of severity.of leucopenia, ly.phocy.openia heterophilia and.thrombocy.openia were more pronounced.in T-2+IBV groups. The serum biochemistry.revealed.hy.oproteinemia and.hy.oalbuminemia in all the treated.groups consistently. Besid.s, hy.oglobulinemia and.increased.levels of alanine aminotransferase in T-2+IBV, and.increased.levels of alkaline phosphatase in toxin group alone were record.d. The changes in biochemical parameters were more in magnitud. in the combination treatment group and.their severity.increased.with d.ration of treatment. It was conclud.d.that T-2 toxin mad. the bird. more susceptible to IBV infection.

Objective:To evaluate the effect of enzy.atic activity.in the nervous tissue of snail Ly.naea acuminata(***)by.Bauhinia variegata(***)and.Mimusops elengi(***)and.their active molluscicid.l components quercetin and.***:Treatment of sublethal concentration(40%and.80%of 96-h LC_(50))in vivo of column-purified.fraction of *** leaf and.*** bark and.their molluscicid.l agents quercetin and.saponin inhibit the acety.cholinesterase(AChE),acid.and.alkaline phosphatase(ACP and.ALP)activities in the nervous tissue of ***:AChE activity.was more inhibited.than ACP and.ALP in snail exposed.to column-purified.fraction of *** bark and.*** all the treatments the highest inhibition in AChE activity.27.77%)was noted.in snail *** exposed.to 80%of 96-h LC_(50)of saponin at 96-h exposure ***:It can be conclud.d.from the present stud.0}that inhibition of AChE,ACP and.ALP by.*** leaf(quercetin)and.*** bark(saponin)in snail *** could.be the cause of snail mortality.

The variations in seed.and.pod.traits, genetic superiority.and.genetic d.vergence were evaluated.for a Clonal Seed.Orchard.（CSO） of d.lbergia sissoo Roxb. at Bithmera, Ind.a consisting of 20 clones from d.fferent agro-climatic cond.tions of four northern states （Uttar Prad.sh, Uttarakhand. Hary.na and.Rajasthan）. The seed. and.pod. of various clones in the orchard.exhibited.significant variability.in size, weight and.other characters. Significant positive correlations were observed.between seed.length and.seed.wid.h （p〈0.05）, seed.length and.sccd.thickness （p〈0.01）, seed.length and.seed.weight （p〈0.01）, seed.thickness and.seed.weight （p〈0.01）, seed.length and.germination value （p〈0.05）. The ge- netic parameters for seed.and.pod.traits also showed.a wid. range of variations in the orchard. Heritability.values were found.to be over 50 percent for most of ~e seed.and.pod.traits. Seed.weight, seed.length and.seed.thickness showed.high heritability.values coupled.with maximum genetic gain for these characters. Ward.s minimum variance d.nd.ogram of clones of d. sissoo showed.three d.stinct clusters; cluster I was the largest with 12 better clones whereas cluster 2 and.3 consisting of seven mod.rate clones and.one poor clone, respectively. Mean cluster values showed.sufficient variation among the clusters for seed.weight, germina- tion value and.seed.length. The possible hy.rid.zation between best clones of cluster I to the d.sease resistant clone of cluster 2 （resistant against d.ad.y.Gand.d.rma lucid.m root rot d.sease of d. sissoo） is also suggested.for further breed.ng programmes of the species. The d.ploy. ment of clone 194 （better performed.and.d.sease resistant） is also rec- ommend.d.in future plantation programmes of d. sissoo in northern Ind.a.

In this paper, numerical solutions of the stochastic Fisher equation have been obtained.by.using a semi-implicit finite d.fference scheme. The samples for the Wiener process have been obtained.from cy.ind.ical Wiener process and.Q-Wiener process. Stability.and.convergence of the proposed.finite d.fference scheme have been d.scussed.scrupulously. The sample paths obtained.from cy.ind.ical Wiener process and.Q-Wiener process have also been shown graphically.
